Universal sliding door system
A universal sliding door system that is configured to facilitate installation in either a slide right to open (SRO) orientation or a slide left to open (SLO) orientation. In some embodiments, a track is attached to a header by a pivot connector that allows the track to be pivoted up or down so that the track can be easily oriented at an appropriate angle for the desired opening orientation. The header and track may also each include a first set of openings configured to allow the track to be easily installed in a SRO orientation and a second set of openings configured to allow the track to be easily installed in a SLO orientation. Other components of the door system, such as the door and the vertical casing members may also include features configured to allow the components to easily be installed in either opening orientation.
Reversible door frame threshold, and door system including same
A door system may include a threshold assembly having a base including a base drain channel having a major drain surface inclined from a second edge to a first edge thereof, a base drain hole in a second base sidewall to convey water from the base drain channel out to an exterior side, a crown supported by the base may include a crown gutter and gutter drain hole to convey water into the base drain channel, the crown selectively installable on the base in a first position for in-swing movement of a door element or a second position for out-swing movement, the crown position selectable independent of the base to convey water from the crown gutter and base drain channel to the exterior side.
Gate
A gate is provided and includes a gate body, a hinge assembly attached to a first side of the gate body, and a support bracket. The hinge assembly includes a pin assembly and an actuating assembly capable of moving a pin of the pin assembly between a retracted position and an extended position. The support bracket engages the pin in the extended position and is disengaged from the pin in the retracted position. The gate body has an axis of rotation extending through the pin when the pin engages the support bracket and is freely movable with respect to the support bracket when the pin is disengaged from the support bracket.
Connecting device and window or door comprising a connecting device
A connecting device, in particular for installing at least one opening stay on a window leaf has a rail, which can be guided as far as possible in the direction of the first longitudinal axis thereof into a groove of the connecting device. The groove engages at least in sections behind the rail. The blocking of the longitudinal displaceability of the rail in the groove is guaranteed at least counter to the first longitudinal direction by a projection connected to the rail, which projection engages in a recess in the region of the groove. The projection is held in the installed position of the connecting device by a spring element in the recess. A spring element is arranged on the rail preferably in a limited movable manner. Alternatively or in addition, the connecting device can comprise a cap which holds the projection in the installed position of the connecting device indirectly and/or directly at least partially in the recess.
HATCH ASSEMBLY
A hatch assembly comprising a frame presenting a frame opening, a hatch for opening and closing the frame opening, a plurality of pivot assemblies. At least two pairs of the pivot assemblies each provide a hatch pivot axis at or adjacent a side of the hatch, an engagement mechanism engagement mechanism configured to releasably engage the pivot assemblies to couple the hatch to the frame, and an actuation mechanism. The engagement mechanism comprises a plurality of pins, each pin movable between an extended position to engage a said pivot assembly and a retracted position to disengage from the pivot assembly. The pins are oriented so that longitudinal axes of the pins in each pair of pins converge enabling the hatch to remain coupled to the frame when the hatch is pivoted between the closed position and an open position.
MULTILAYER FILM, MULTILAYER FILM COMPOSITE, OPTICAL COMPONENT, AND WINDOW
To provide a multilayer film, wherein a reflectance of the multilayer film in a visible light region and a reflectance of the multilayer film in a near infrared region are both 0.1% or more but 20% or less in a temperature range of 5 C. or more but less than 30 C., and the reflectance of the multilayer film in the visible light region is 0.1% or more but 20% or less and the reflectance of the multilayer film in the near infrared region is 80% or more but less than 100% in a temperature range of 30 C. or more but less than 60 C.
ANTI-BARRICADE DOOR STOP
The present invention relates to a door jamb assembly comprising a door stop member movably mounted thereon, configured such that the door stop is selectively operable to move from an extended, door-engaging position into a retracted door-disengaging position, and where the door stop member is adapted to initially move directly away from the face of a door with which it is in contact during use. Associated methods, door assemblies and suchlike are also provided. The door jamb assembly of the present invention is of particular use in situations where a door may be barricaded.
Reversible door jamb system
A reversible door jamb system for an aperture. The mechanical design of the system allows for a single product to be utilized for doors which open in either direction, often referred to as left handed or right handed operation. The system can have a head jamb, a strike jamb, and a hinge jamb. A stop can be included which is adapted to attach to the head jamb, the strike jamb, or the hinge jamb. The strike jamb and the hinge jamb are interchangeable to allow for reversing the swing of a door panel.
