Compound fenestration assembly mull joints and methods
Compound fenestration assembly mull joints, compound fenestration assemblies using those mull joints, and methods of making and using the same are described herein. The mull joints in compound fenestration assemblies as described herein use universal joining strips to form both sides of a mull joint, as well as other universal components such as, e.g., corner gussets, locator plates, end plugs, seal members, etc. that may be used as needed to form mull joints as required in a compound fenestration assembly.
Window attachment system and method
A window attachment system for attaching a window to an opening in a building includes a male portion and a female portion. One of the male portion and the female portion is attached to one of the outer perimeter of the window frame or the inner perimeter of the opening in the building. The other of the male portion and the female portion is attached to the outer perimeter of the window frame or the inner perimeter of the opening in the building. The male portion is engaged with the female portion when the window is placed into the opening.
Door hanger bracket
A door assembly, a hanger bracket therefor which comprises an elongated manually bendable body which extends from a first wall mounting tab at one end, for a distance approximately equal to the width of a door jamb, and sufficiently far beyond to provide for forming a second wall mounting tab. The elongated body includes at least one bend line extending laterally with respect to the length of said body, whereby the body can be manually bent to form said second wall mounting tab, after the bracket has been secured to the jamb of the door assembly and the door assembly located in the door opening of the wall and secured to one side of the wall by the first wall mounting tab. Two bend lines are shown such that the bracket can be used in a wall having drywall on both sides, or in a wall having drywall on only one side.
MODULAR FRAME DESIGN
A modular window assembly including a base frame, an interior frame cover, and an exterior frame cover. The base frame has a first complementary fastener located on an exterior face and a second complementary fastener located on an interior face. Each of the interior and exterior frame covers have a complementary fastener configured to releasably mate with the first and second complementary fasteners of the interior face and exterior face, respectively.
Male and female gasket coupling for a window frame
Embodiments described herein may be directed towards a male and female gasket coupling for securing adjacent window frames. In accordance with the present disclosure, the male gasket may comprise a head portion that creates a seal inside a cavity of the female gasket. The female gasket may further be enabled to collapse on itself as it engages a surface of the male gasket. The seal may be maintained when the male and female gaskets move toward each other or when the male and female gaskets move away from each other due to fluctuations in temperature.
Wind turbine access panel and method for securing same
The invention relates to an access panel configured for fixing to a service aperture in a wind turbine tower wall; wherein the access panel comprises a main panel and an adjacent sub-panel; the sub-panel comprising a bearing surface at an edge thereof; the main panel comprising a reference surface at an edge thereof; the main panel and the sub-panel being abuttable along a common seam; the seam comprising a said sub-panel bearing surface abutting a main panel reference surface; the main panel being dimensioned to close a main region of a tower wall aperture whereas the sub-panel is dimensioned to close a first sub-region of the aperture. The invention includes a method according to which the sub-panel is placed into a tower wall aperture and adjusted to bring its bearing surface into a predetermined position. Thereafter, a main panel is placed in the aperture with its reference surface in abutment with the bearing surface, thereby quickly and easily and reliably locating the main panel for securely fixing in the tower aperture.

DOOR HANGER BRACKET
A door assembly, a hanger bracket therefor which comprises an elongated manually bendable body which extends from a first wall mounting tab at one end, for a distance approximately equal to the width of a doorjamb, and sufficiently far beyond to provide for forming a second wall mounting tab. The elongated body includes at least one bend line extending laterally with respect to the length of said body, whereby the body can be manually bent to form said second wall mounting tab, after the bracket has been secured to the jamb of the door assembly and the door assembly located in the door opening of the wall and secured to one side of the wall by the first wall mounting tab. Two bend lines are shown such that the bracket can be used in a wall having drywall on both sides, or in a wall having drywall on only one side.
Closure fire rated frame extrusion component and a method of making the same
An extrusion component of a closure frame for defining an opening which is closable by a closure member and a method of making the same. The extrusion component comprises an elongate body having first and second sides, at least one of which is shaped for accommodating said closure member. The elongate body includes an outer layer integrally formed with an inner layer and the inner layer has an outer surface correspondingly shaped by or with an inner surface of the outer layer.
MALE AND FEMALE GASKET COUPLING FOR A WINDOW FRAME
Embodiments described herein may be directed towards a male and female gasket coupling for securing adjacent window frames.
