MOVEMENT SYSTEM FOR A CLOSURE STRUCTURE WITH FOLDING MOVEMENT
20200217114 · 2020-07-09 ·

Movement system for a closure structure with folding movement, comprising a transmission hinge which connects a first panel to a second panel of the closure structure. The transmission hinge has a first wing fixed to the first panel, a movement lever hinged to the first wing around a first axis, and a second wing which is hinged to the movement lever around a second axis and is fixed to the second panel. The movement system comprises a transmission mechanism which, following the rotation of the first panel, drives the movement lever to rotate around the first axis. The transmission hinge comprises a gear connecting the first wing to the second wing so that, following the rotation of the movement lever, the second wing is actuated by such gear to rotate around the second axis in order to make the second panel rotate with respect to the first panel.

Folding device with adjusting strip
10683688 · 2020-06-16 · ·

A folding device as room closure has a frame and a chain of panels arranged therein. The panels are pivotably connected by alternate first and second hinge arrangements and foldable from a stretched-out closed position into an open accordion fold arrangement. First hinge arrangements are guided on guide rails of the frame; second hinge arrangements are deflected away from the frame. In the closed position, the panels are sealed relative to each other and to the frame by frame seals extending at least partially along a sealing plane. An adjusting strip in front of a lateral frame part is adjustable to adjust a spacing between adjustable strip and lateral frame part for spatial adaption to an adjacent panel. The adjusting strip has a sealing contact surface aligned with the sealing plane and resting against a seal arranged on the lateral frame part and extending into the guide rails.

Anti-float systems and methods

A movable wall system includes a plurality of movable wall panels including a first movable wall panel and a second moveable wall panel rotatably coupled together through at least one hinge. The movable wall system further includes a biasing system which biases the first movable wall panel and the second movable wall panel into an arrangement wherein a panel face of the first movable wall panel and a panel face of the second moveable wall panel are generally parallel.

Folding apparatus for a folding door with three sides
10612287 · 2020-04-07 ·

A folding apparatus for a folding door can be folded or unfolded and moved to the inside as well as to the outside when the folding door is folded. The folding apparatus includes a first upper moving part, a first lower moving part, a second upper moving part, a second lower moving part, a first rotating pulley, a second rotating pulley, a third rotating pulley, a fourth rotating pulley, a fifth rotating pulley, and a sixth rotating pulley, wherein the second upper moving part and the second lower moving part move together right and left by an equal interval by first and second wires.

Bi-fold door stop
10604982 · 2020-03-31 ·

A bi-fold door stop controls movement and travel of lead and pivot doors in a set of vertically hung bi-fold doors. The bi-fold door stop has at least two non-parallel surfaces that each may act upon one or both of the lead and pivot door stiles to limit movement in two directions. Movement transverse to the track longitudinal axis is limited when the bi-fold door is either fully open or fully closed, while parallel movement is controlled by limiting the extent that the bi-fold door may be opened. At least two non-parallel surfaces are provided that each may act upon one or more of the lead and pivot door stiles, while an additional surface may act upon the face of the pivot door. The bi-fold door stop may be fabricated as a single part using common molding operations, and acts directly on the door panels, thereby preserving bi-fold door hardware.

Improved Bifold System

A bifold system, in at least one iteration, includes a frame having a jamb and a header; a track extending along the header; a first panel and a second panel each having a first side and a second side opposite the first side, the first panel being hinged to the jamb at the first side of the first panel to pivot about a vertical axis spaced with respect to the track; an intermediate hinge(s) connecting the second panel to the first panel, the intermediate hinge(s) enabling the panels to be opened and closed; a wheel connected towards the second side of the second panel, the wheel being rotatably and vertically mounted to travel along the track. When the panels are in the open configuration, the intermediate hinge(s) offsets the second side of the first panel from the first side of the second panel by a spacing in the forward direction.

Insulated Doors With Restorable Breakaway Sections

An example door system includes a panel to translate along a normal path between an open position and a closed position in front of a doorway in a wall. The door system further includes a first track to support the panel from an upper portion of the panel, and a second track to extend along the normal path proximate a lower portion of the panel. The door system also includes a spring to urge the panel toward the second track by a first force to maintain the panel in the normal path.

Multi panel components

A panel carriage hanger designed to travel slidable along a track, the panel carriage hanger having a cylindrical bore in a body, the bore having a lip substantially at a first end, the lip having a plurality of castellations. An anti-rotating sleeve having a plurality of castellations is located in the bore, and a biasing mechanism provides a substantially downwards force to the anti-rotating sleeve to mate the castellations. The anti-rotating sleeve movable substantially upwards from a first position in the bore where the castellations of the anti-rotating sleeve and the castellations of the bore mate such that the anti-rotating sleeve cannot rotate into a second position in the bore where the anti-rotating sleeve can rotate. A rod passing through and keyed to the anti-rotating sleeve such that the rod and the anti-rotating sleeve can rotate together, or both cannot rotate.

ROLLER ASSEMBLY FOR SLIDING SECURITY GRILLES
20200040651 · 2020-02-06 ·

A roller assembly for supporting a sliding security grille from an above-mounted track is disclosed. The roller assembly has a shank for securing the roller assembly to a panel of the sliding security grille and a rotatable collar that couples the shank to the wheels of the roller assembly to allow the axial rotation of the wheels about the shank. The roller assembly also includes an axle support that couples the wheels to the rotatable collar, and the axle support is sized to interfere with the lips of the track to limit the axial rotation to keep the wheels aligned in the longitudinal direction of the track.
