FOLDING BARN STYLE DOOR AND HARDWARE
A folding sliding door that uses a track and exposed rotating rollers attached to a series of door panels whereby the door panels can fold while the exposed rotating rollers roll along the track, thereby permitting the appearance of a sliding barn door.
Automatic released foldable door having two-way door structure
Disclosed is an automatic released foldable door having a two-way door structure, which foldable door comprises a first closing door device (11) and a second closing door device (13), wherein a first door leaf (2) is connected to one side of the first closing door device (11), the second closing door device has one side connected to the first door leaf (2) and the other side thereof connected to a second door leaf (6), the second door leaf (6) is a door-in-door and a two-way door structure; and the foldable door further comprises a plurality of fixing devices (3, 31, 7) and at least one hinge (4). The foldable door has a relatively small turning radius and can be folded for receiving, and the door-in-door can be rotated in different directions.
Operable wall assembly with drive system
An operable wall assembly having a prime mover for deploying and stowing or stacking the wall panels. The operable wall assembly includes a control system for controlling operation of the prime mover and sensors for determining when the panels are fully deployed and fully stacked. The wall panel is installed by applying a three-point camber for spans in the range of 33-40 feet.
Insulating glazed element
An insulating glazed element including at least one insulating glazing unit including at least a first glass sheet and a second glass sheet associated together by an intermediate frame that keeps them a certain distance from each other. The intermediate frame includes at least two horizontal spacers and at least two vertical spacers, which are transparent. The horizontal spacers include at least two compartments which are separate and contiguous.
Integrally Hinged Stile
A hinge for a bi-fold door is integrated with a pair of stiles. Each stile has a hinge flange integrated to the stile. Opposing stiles with opposing and aligned hinge flanges collectively create an integral hinge assembly that may be useful in thermal doors employing one or more thermal breaks.
Access device provided with a folding door enabling secure communication between at least two zones of an enclosure
An access device enables controlled or secure communication between different areas of an enclosure, and in the example illustrated in the present application of an aircraft, while providing reduced size. The access device includes a folding door which, when in folded position, allows at least one of said openings to be closed and, when in deployed position, forms a security vestibule with at least one movable shutter allowing said opening created by the deployment of said folding door to be closed. By superimposing the main components of the security vestibule that said components allow to close, the device frees up the adjoining cabin space when the security vestibule is not in use.
LATCHING FOR A LAVATORY CONVERTIBLE DIVIDER WALL
An aircraft lavatory monument is provided that includes a first lavatory including a first door providing access to the first lavatory from an aisle of an aircraft; a second lavatory proximate the first lavatory, the second lavatory including a second door providing access to the second lavatory from the aisle of the aircraft; and a movable wall disposed between the first lavatory and the second lavatory, the movable wall including a latching mechanism positioned on an exterior edge of the movable wall and accessible from the aisle of the aircraft, where the latching mechanism, responsive to being in a locked position, causes the movable wall to be positioned at a first position separating the first lavatory from the second lavatory and providing privacy therebetween, and where the latching mechanism, responsive to being in an unlocked position, allows the movable wall to collapse thereby forming an enlarged bathroom space.
Protective clips for movable partitions and related methods
Protective clips for movable partitions include a guard portion that protrudes from a top major surface of a base portion. The guard portion extends along the top major surface proximate to a front side of the base portion. The guard portion also may extend along the top major surface proximate to at least one end side surface at a longitudinal end of the base portion. Movable partitions include one or more such protective clips. The protective clips optionally may be used to attach a sweep strip to panels of a movable partition. Methods of forming such protective clips include molding the clips within a mold cavity.
EMERGENCY RELEASE DEVICE FOR MANUALLY OPENING AND CLOSING A FOUR FOLD POWER DOOR SYSTEM
A release for a power door system for actuating door panels between closed and opened positions. A linkage includes an operator arm telescopically supporting a push rod. A housing is secured to the operator arm. A pin extends through apertures in the arm and the push rod. A release cable extends from the housing and, in response to displacement, causes the pin to retract, permitting inter-telescoping motion of the push rod relative the operator arm, in turn permitting manual displacement of the doors. A compression spring supported within the housing influences the pin into engagement with the operator arm and push rod. A locking pin and guide is incorporated into a cable mounting guard below the spring pin, the locking pin displacing with the spring pin and preventing return displacement of the spring pin in response to a single pull retraction of the spring pin.
MULTI PANEL COMPONENTS
A panel carriage hanger slidable along a track and having a body, rollers attached to the body to allow the body to travel along the track and a cylindrical bore in the body. The cylindrical bore has a lip including a plurality of castellations. The panel carriage hanger includes an anti-rotating sleeve inserted into the cylindrical bore, the castellations of the anti-rotating sleeve are mateable with the castellations of the cylindrical bore. The anti-rotating sleeve is movable from a first position in the bore where the anti-rotating sleeve can rotate in the bore and a second position in the bore where the castellations of the anti-rotating sleeve and the castellations of the cylindrical bore mate such that the anti-rotating sleeve cannot rotate. The panel carriage hanger includes a biasing mechanism providing a force to the anti-rotating sleeve to mate the castellations of the anti-rotating sleeve with the castellations of the cylindrical bore, a panel attachment mechanism and a rod passing through the anti-rotating sleeve, the second end of the rod supported at the second end of the cylindrical bore by a rod support member. The rod has a keyed portion mating with the keyed portion of the anti-rotating sleeve wherein rotating the rod adjusts the distance between the rod support and the panel attachment mechanism.
