Fastener systems for roofing systems are disclosed for fastening a fabric, mesh, or base sheet to a roof deck prior to application of a liquid applied roof coating. The fastening assemblies may be attached to an uncleaned or unprimed roof deck and a fabric is laid atop the fasteners. The fasteners secure the fabric using mechanical binding or chemical bonding without penetrating or dimpling the fabric.

The door monitoring sensor includes a communication interface to transmit an alarm when a door operates outside of operational parameters of the door, an angular sensor to measure rotational movement of the a door, a movement sensor to detect movement along an x-y-z coordinate plane, a radar sensor to detect an object, a rechargeable power supply to provide power to the angular sensor, the movement sensor, and the radar sensor, and a processor. The processor is communicatively coupled to the communication interface, the angular sensor, the movement sensor, and the radar sensor. The processor is to determine that the door is moving outside of the operational parameters of the door and generate the alarm that is transmitted by the communication interface in response to determination that the door is moving outside of the operational parameters of the door.

An apparatus for an architectural opening may include a plurality of panels. At least one of the plurality of panels may include a frame including a pair of rails and a pair of stiles secured to the pair of rails at respective interfaces. The frame may define at least one opening. The interfaces may be sealed in a manner allowing a vacuum to be created inside at least a portion of the frame. An inset panel may be secured within the at least one opening. At least portions of the frame may be vacuum insulated. One or more hinges may secure a first panel of the plurality of panels to a second panel of the plurality of panels. The member may be a transparent or translucent window. The apparatus may be a garage door, an entry door, a window, or a storefront.

An adapter bracket for attaching a vertical garage door brace to a garage door has a base plate with an upper tab and a lower tab. A left and right side wing stick out from the sides of the base plate. The side wings bend forward to form left and right forward tabs. The tabs each have a 0.38 inch diameter hole in them to receive a standard size mounting bolt. The bolt is the same size bolt used to attach the garage door brace to hollow door hinges. If the hinges are not hollow, then the hinges are removed when a strong wind is anticipated. The adapter brackets then replace the hinges so that the standard bolt can be used to attach the brace to the door.

Both the interior and exterior frame have straight members that are secured to each other through the parts of the garage door that surround the opening with screws and screw receptacles. Connecting the frame members are adjustable corner braces that come in a variety of designs, with some being invisible after installation and others forming a decorative “corner” to the window.
