Debrider with external irrigation supply channel
A debrider that includes an outer member, an inner member located inside of the outer member, and an irrigation supply channel configured to supply irrigation fluid to a distal portion of an aspiration channel defined inside the inner member. The irrigation supply channel is located outside of the outer member.
Balloon dilation catheter system for treatment and irrigation of the sinuses
A medical device for the treatment and irrigation of a sinus opening is described. The device allows for single-handed operation to access, dilate and irrigate a sinus opening. The device includes a sinus guide catheter, a guiding element, a balloon dilation catheter, a balloon catheter movement mechanism and a guiding element movement mechanism. A method for treating a sinus opening and irrigating a sinus is also described.
MEDICAL SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND RELATED METHODS
A medical system includes a medical device having a handle, a shaft, an actuation member, and medical system also includes a cartridge and a plunger. The handle includes an actuator movable relative to the handle, and the actuator is coupled to a distal end of the shaft via the actuation member. The cartridge contains a treatment agent, and the cartridge is couplable to the distal end of the shaft. The plunger is movable relative to the cartridge. Movement of the actuator controls movement of the actuation member. Movement of the actuation member controls movement of either the plunger or the cartridge to control a delivery of the treatment agent from the cartridge.
SPRAY CANISTER DEVICE
A toilet seat assembly includes a toilet seat, a canister housing comprising an annular sleeve portion, an end portion, and an opening extending at least partially along the end portion, and a canister including an actuator cap. The canister storing a liquid product therein. The actuator cap including a spray nozzle. The canister configured to be positioned within the canister housing and movable relative to the canister housing to cause release of the liquid product. The canister housing is removably coupled to the toilet seat and movable relative to the toilet seat.
Irrigation System
An anal irrigation system with a box for a reservoir is provided. The reservoir may be for one-time use and disposed of after use. The box is provided with means for pressing so that the box can be used to displace liquid from a reservoir in an easy and convenient way. Also provided is a box with means for pressing so as to displace liquid from a reservoir. Also provided is an anal irrigation system without reservoir and where the box is provided with an inflatable lung, which is inflated for displacing the liquid from the box.
Integrated Pump Control For Dynamic Control Of Plasma Field
A pump and pump controller which uses an algorithm to quickly achieve and maintain a stable plasma field in a surgical site are provided. The algorithm calculates an electrical characteristic value to determine if the suction rate by the pump should be increased or decreased to achieve a stable plasma field. A method of using such a pump and pump controller is also provided.
Vacuum assisted irrigation pump
Embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of pressurized fluid delivery devices for use in medical procedures. In particular, a fluid delivery pump comprises at least one compressive member configured to apply a force to a fluid reservoir. The at least one compressive member is associated with a flexible envelope, such that the flexible envelope may move the compressive member. The flexible envelope may be substantially air-tight so that it may be pressurized. When a negative pressure is created inside the flexible envelope, the flexible envelope may change volume, applying a force to the at least one compressive member. The at least one compressive member may then apply a force to the fluid reservoir and the fluid is forced out of the reservoir.
SPRAY CANISTER DEVICE
A spray canister device is provided including a canister containing a liquid product, a canister housing having an opening, a chassis element, and a tray slidably coupled to the chassis element. The canister includes an actuator cap and is positioned in the canister housing such that a nozzle of the actuator cap is positioned proximate the opening. The canister housing, and the canister positioned therein, may be engaged with the tray via at least one protruding member. Once engaged, the tray may be slidably moved along the chassis element between a retracted position and an extended position to facilitate relative movement between the canister and the canister housing to compress the actuator cap of the canister and spray the liquid product.
System and method for monitoring and controlling intrauterine pressure using a pressure cuff
A method of determining a pressure of a body cavity with a controller of a fluid management system includes determining a pressure and a volume of a cuff disposed about a collapsible bag, determining a volume of the collapsible bag based on the pressure and the volume of the cuff, and determining a pressure of the collapsible bag based on the volume of the collapsible bag. The method also includes calculating a fluid flow from the collapsible bag into a body cavity from the collapsible bag and determining a pressure of the body cavity based on the fluid flow.
SUPPOSITORY APPLICATOR
Disclosed are implementations of a suppository applicator configured for use in depositing a suppository product in a body cavity, such as the rectum. An example suppository applicator comprises a handle connected to a tool head by an elongate shaft, and a disposable applicator removably attached to the tool head. The disposable applicator is configured to contain a suppository product therein. The example suppository applicator is configured so that rotation of the handle causes the suppository product to be expelled from the disposable applicator. Also disclosed are implementations of an enema dispenser. An example apparatus comprises a handle connected to a tool head by an elongate shaft, and a driving mechanism. The tool head includes an enema dispenser comprising a bottle holder, a piston, and a bottle configured to contain an enema liquid. The driving mechanism is configured to cause the piston to compress the bottle of the enema dispenser when actuated, thereby dispensing a volume of liquid contained in the bottle.
