Lightweight anti-ballistic door and anti-ballistic panel
An anti-ballistic door having a keyed joint assembly substantially defining an inner perimeter of the door, and a bullet persistent panel secured internal to the door using the keyed joint assembly. The anti-ballistic door has up to a UL 752-Level 8 protection rating having a lower weight relative to conventional anti-ballistic doors and is sized to fit within conventionally sized door frames. An anti-ballistic panel is additionally provided having a keyed joint assembly substantially defining an inner perimeter of the panel, and a bullet persistent panel secured internal to the panel using the keyed joint assembly. The anti-ballistic panel has up to a UL 752-Level 8 protection rating.
CUSTOMER-SPECIFIC VEHICLE DOOR LEAF, FOR EXAMPLE FOR A RAIL VEHICLE
A customer-specific vehicle door leaf, in particular a customer-specific rail-vehicle door leaf, preferably an inwardly opening customer-specific vehicle door leaf for an entry door. The door leaf includes a panel and a general vehicle door leaf, wherein the general vehicle door leaf preferably has a supporting vehicle door leaf frame, and the general vehicle door leaf itself is pressure-tight and/or waterproof, and the panel is provided on the vehicle door leaf frame.
Electrical connection device and lighting system for a sectional door
An electrical connection device connects to a sectional door, the sectional door having a plurality of connected panels which roll along left and right tracks which are connected to a structure, the sectional door is positionable to a closed position and to an open position. The electrical connection device includes a slide which carries a reciprocating electric contactor. A housing has a slot, a proximal end and an opposite distal end. The slide slides along the slot in the housing. A spring in the housing biases the slide toward the distal end of the housing. The housing is connectable to either the left track or to the right track of the sectional door.
Door panel and a stile thereof
A door panel comprising a body having front and rear door skins sandwiching, at least partially, two stiles, which together delimit an interior for injection of filling material. At least one of the stiles comprises a hollow structure with a partitioned hollow interior that extends along substantially the entire length of the body to offer mechanical strength to the door and to provide foundation for installing door fittings.
Insulated reinforced door panel and door frame with thermal break
A metal door frame for a door opening comprising at least one first door frame segment for upper or side portions of the door opening, the at least one first door frame segment having a first molding flange, a first jamb face adjacent to the molding flange, and a first stop flange adjacent to the jamb face. The metal door frame includes at least one second door frame segment for upper and side portions of the door opening, the at least one second door frame segment having a second molding flange, a second jamb face adjacent to the molding flange, a second stop flange adjacent to the jamb face, a second stop face adjacent to the stop flange, and a third stop flange adjacent to the stop face. The metal door frame includes a thermally insulative layer between the first door frame segment and the second door frame segment.
SYSTEM FOR ASSEMBLY OF RECESSED PANEL DOORS
Systems and methods for pressing a door assembly involve one or more die sections installed in a press, wherein the die sections each have a raised section that contacts and supports a recessed panel portion of a door skin of the assembly during the pressing operation to facilitate crushing of portions of a core of the door assembly that underlie the recessed panel portion of the door skin. The die sections may be made of plastic and readily changed out for different sizes or styles of doors.
DOOR SYSTEM WITH DUAL SEALING ELEMENTS
A high-performance door system is provided. The door system comprising a door leaf having a framework which includes first and second stiles spaced apart from each other, a first rail joining a first end of the first stile with a first end of the second stile, and a second rail joining a second end of the first stile with a second end of the second stile. The first rail is provided with a groove, and each one of the stiles comprises an inner channel, each inner channel being in fluid communication with the groove. The door leaf further comprises a housing defining a hollow space which is then injected with filler material so as to fill the hollow space and the groove, thereby spreading to each one of the inner channels, thus sealing interstices between the rail and stiles.
DOOR SKINS, DOORS, AND NESTED DOOR SKINS
A door skin is provided that includes at least one inner panel, an outer body portion surrounding the at least one inner panel, and at least one contoured portion surrounding the at least one panel and interconnecting the at least one panel to the outer body portion. The at least one contoured portion is recessed from the at least one panel and the outer body portion and includes a center base portion that interconnects with the outer body portion via a first sloping portion and with the panel via a second sloping portion. The first sloping portion includes a first angled portion and a first bump. The second sloping portion includes second and third bumps.
Door with frameless glazed unit, and related kit and methods
A door includes a door frame, first and second door skins having rectangular outer peripheries and inner openings, and a frameless glazed unit received at the openings. The door skins include exterior surfaces facing away from the door frame and opposite interior surfaces facing and secured to opposite sides of the door frame. The exterior and interior surfaces of the first and second door skins establish integral lips and grooves of the first and second door skins. Opposite sides of the frameless glazed unit directly contact and are sealed by the integral lips and sealant and/or adhesive contained in the grooves of the first and second door skins.
