Water trough window seal assembly
A water trough window seal trim assembly for preventing water leakage includes a plurality of trim sections comprising a top trim section, a left trim section, and a right trim section. Each of the plurality of trim sections comprises a bottom piece, an exterior perpendicular piece, an interior perpendicular piece, and a parallel piece. The bottom piece has an exterior end, an interior end, a top face, and a bottom face. The exterior perpendicular piece is perpendicularly coupled to the top face at the exterior end. The interior perpendicular piece is perpendicularly coupled to the top face proximal the interior end. The parallel piece is perpendicularly coupled to each of the exterior perpendicular piece and the interior perpendicular piece to form a water trough. A pair of corner connectors perpendicularly couples each of the left trim section and the right trim section to the top trim section.
SLIDING SCREEN DOOR
A corner member for a screen door comprises opposed inner and outer surfaces and first and second connectors extending between the inner and outer surfaces. The corner member further comprises a first protrusion extending from the first connector and a second protrusion extending from the second connector. The corner member further comprises a wheel guide, an adjustment mechanism, and a third connector. The wheel guide extends from the second protrusion. The wheel mechanism is pivotably connected to the wheel guide. The adjustment mechanism adjustably pivots the wheel mechanism with respect to the wheel guide. The third connector extends between the inner and outer surfaces. The inner surface, the outer surface, the first connector, the second connector, and the third connector define, at least in part, a corner cavity. The third connector comprises an opening that provides access through the corner cavity to the adjustment mechanism.
Two piece window edge corner system and method for installation
A break-in resistant window assembly whose components include a window pane having at least a pair of edges and a corner; a frame boarding the window pane; a sheet of polymeric film overlying the pane, a first adhesive layer fixedly interconnecting the pane and the sheet of polymeric film; and a corner assembly which includes a base portion and a cover portion which are able to be mechanically locked to each other to complete a corner assembly. The base portion includes adhesive pads for bonding both to the corner of the window pane and the corner of the window frame. Trim pieces which abut the base portion are also bonded to the window pane and the window frame by adhesive pads. The cover portion is arranged to extend over the abutting ends of the base portion and the trim pieces and thereby conceal any mismatch between those abutting edges.
Bracket
A bracket for connecting a first extruded member having spaced and generally parallel extrusion fins to a second member. The bracket comprising a base plate, a longitudinal wedge element configured to be inserted in between the extrusion fins, an extrusion fin receiving channel to receive a first extrusion fin of the first extruded member, fastener receiving apertures through the base plate to receive a fastener to rigidly couple the bracket to the first extruded member, and a deformation cavity adjacent the fastener receiving aperture configured to receive a deformed extrusion portion of the first extrusion fin. The fastener receiving aperture is located on the base plate such that the deformed extrusion portion is forced into the deformation cavity and at least partially out of the extrusion fin receiving channel to form a rigid connection in a deformed condition when a fastener is located in the fastener receiving aperture.
Frame assembly
Systems and methods for providing a universal window frame assembly. A window frame assembly can include a plurality of frame members, wherein at least one of the frame members comprises a first profile frame member and at least one of the other frame members comprises a second profile frame member. The at least one first profile frame member and the at least one second profile frame member seat together to form the frame assembly. Head and side jamb members of a window frame can have a common first profile, and a sill jamb member can have a second profile. The frame members can be connected with corner keys configured to engage one or more openings in the first and second profiles. The sill jamb member can provide a sill slope angle.
FENESTRATION TRIM ASSEMBLY
A corner key for a fenestration trim assembly includes a sloped bearing surface configured to bias a first lineal toward a second lineal about the longitudinal axis of the second lineal.
Decorative cover for commercial window frames
An apparatus for reviving the appearance of a frame structure in a commercial window utilizes extruded plastic U-shaped channels adapted to fit over each element of the frame structure. The plastic channels are mixed with a selected color so that no painting is required. The channels are preferably attached to the frame structure by adhesive strips. Ends of the channels at frame structure intersections are covered by connectors overlaying ends of the channels.
Infill Panel and operable fenestration frame adjustment device
A system for adjusting infill panel or operable fenestration frame in an operable fenestration. The system can include a setting block adjustment device and an operable fenestration frame such as a door rail or window sash with glass, acrylic, polycarbonate or other infill material. The setting block adjustment device can include a lug, a threaded fastener, a setting block support plate, and a setting block. The lug is slidably captive within a groove in an outer face of the operable fenestration. The threaded fastener engages a threaded aperture within a blind hole in the lug. The fastener end engages the setting block support plate and setting block to adjust the infill panel.
System for Installing Structural Components within Existing Walls Utilizing Ventilating Structural Components
Disclosed is a system that utilizes at least one structural frame element within an existing aperture as a universal mounting framework for securing windows, doors and other structural elements that are installed within an existing aperture of a wall. The structural frame elements are preferably made from thermally isolating materials and are fastened within the aperture using means that do not severely damage the weather membrane. The structural frame elements may have been built in finishing trim around the installed structural components. The structural components may be further secured within the structural frame elements using holding elements and projecting members, which may be removable or unitary to the structural frame elements. Some of the surfaces of the structural frame elements that are exposed to the external environment contain a pitch that promotes drainage.
A WINDOW UNIT FOR A BUILDING OR STRUCTURE
The present disclosure provides a window unit for a building or structure. The window unit comprises a first panel having an area transmissive for at least a portion of visible light. The first panel has opposite major surfaces. The window unit also comprises a second panel having an area transmissive for at least a portion of visible light. The window unit further comprises a spacer spacing the first panel from the second panel. At least one electric or electronic element is positioned within the spacer and indirectly or directly electrically coupled to at least electric component positioned within the window unit.
