Dry open window (DOW) apparatus
An environmental window apparatus includes at least two dry open window (DOW) assemblies stacked on top of each other. Each DOW assembly includes a dry open window (DOW) structure having a plurality of louvers which, when viewed in cross section, have V or W shapes that enable air to pass through a window opening while limiting passage of precipitation, the precipitation being captured by the louvers for collection or drainage and a plurality of vertical members supporting the louvers in a spaced apart arrangement. A plurality of vertical rods are fixed to the vertical members of each DOW assembly by fasteners in a spaced apart arrangement to hold the DOW assemblies in place.

Cupboard door balance system
A balance system used with a door of a cupboard comprises a transmission shaft, a first pulley on the transmission shaft, and a balance component. The first pulley is connected to a door belt, one end of the door belt is secured to the first pulley, and the other end of the belt is connected to the door. The balance component comprises a balancing member, a balancing belt and a second pulley on the transmission shaft. One end of the balancing belt is connected to the second pulley, and the other end of the balancing belt is connected to the balancing member, such that the balancing member is hung on the second pulley. The first pulley and the second pulley rotate synchronously, and the door belt and the balancing belt are wound oppositely. With the balance system, a small driving force can open/close the door.

Automated Window Shutter Assembly
An automated window shutter assembly includes a pair of shutters that is each movably positioned on an exterior wall of a building. Each of the shutters is positionable in an open position or a closed position. A housing is coupled to the exterior wall of the building and the housing is positioned above the window. A pair of screws is each rotatably positioned within the housing and each of the screws is rotatable in a closing direction or an opening direction. A drive unit is positioned within the housing and the drive unit engages each of the screws. The drive unit is turned on to rotate each of the screws in the closing direction or the opening direction. A plurality of engagements each threadably engages a respective one of the screws. Each of the engagements is coupled to a respective one of the shutters for opening and closing the shutters.
RETRACTABLE ROOF/WALL ASSEMBLY
An architectural structure includes retractable and moveable louvres having a frame having a rear end, a front end and a pair of side walls connecting the front end and the rear end and a plurality of louvres extending substantially between the side walls, with at least one end of the louvres being mounted to a gearbox member for controlling the angular orientation of the louvre. Each gearbox member is mounted upon a track extending substantially along a length of at least one side wall and at least one of the gearbox members is mounted to a belt driven by a drive pulley to move one or more gearbox members along the track, in which each gearbox member is attached to an adjacent gearbox member by way of a connector, with the length of the connector extending between adjacent gearbox members being constant such that, when the louvres are in an extended position, the spacing between the louvers is maintained at a predetermined distance.
