DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE FOR DELIVERING A PREDEFINED FIXED DOSE
A drug delivery device (100, 300) for delivering a medicament, wherein the device comprises an insertion controlled needle cannula (224, 424), wherein the drug delivery device comprises: a retaining structure (130, 136, 350, 430) axially locked to the housing and adapted for retaining the hub (225, 425) in the proximal position, a pulling structure (230, 320) axially locked to the shield (110, 310) and adapted for being disengaged from the hub (225, 425), in a decouple state, whereby the pulling structure is movable relative to the hub (225, 425), and wherein the pulling structure (230, 320) is further adapted for engaging the hub, in a coupled state, whereby the pulling structure is movable together with the hub, wherein the retaining structure and the pulling structure are operatively connected to the shield (110, 310) and the needle assembly (220, 420) in the active position. Thereby, the drug delivery device provides a needle insertion sequence control mechanism ensuring that the distal end of the cannula is covered before the proximal end of the cannula is pulled out from the reservoir.
DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE FOR DELIVERING A PREDEFINED FIXED DOSE
A drug delivery device (100, 300) for delivering a plurality of doses of a medicament, wherein a needle shield (110, 310) is operationally coupled to a hub driving structure (210, 430), a active needle assembly (220, 420), a pulling structure (230, 320) and a support structure (136, 336, 338, 350) such that the operation of the needle shield is adapted to drive the active needle assembly (220, 420) to the proximal position of the active needle assembly (220, 420), before the needle shield (110, 310) can reach the proximal position of the needle shield (220, 420), whereby fluid connection can be establish before the drive mechanism can be activated.
SUBSTANCE DELIVERY DEVICE
A substance delivery device that includes a hypodermic needle with a tube for receiving and containing a volume of a substance. The substance delivery device includes a rod, a portion of which is of a size and shape to fit within the tube of the hypodermic needle. The rod can be displaced into and within the tube to contact and apply a force to a volume of substance contained within the tube to cause, at least in part, the volume of substance to be discharged out of the tube. The substance delivery device includes a rod displacement mechanism that applies a force to the rod to cause the rod to be displaced into and within the tube. The substance delivery device also includes a needle retraction mechanism that is configured to apply a force to the hypodermic needle to cause the hypodermic needle to retract from within a patient.
User-actuated storage assembly for injection device
A storage assembly is removably connectable to a drug delivery device. A first chamber is disposed in the housing. A plurality of penetrating members are stored in the first chamber. A second chamber is disposed in the housing for storing the plurality of penetrating members after being used in an injection. A transfer drum disposed in the housing transfers one of the penetrating members from the first chamber to an injection position and from the injection position to the second chamber following an injection.
WEARABLE AUTOMATIC INJECTION DEVICE FOR CONTROLLED DELIVERY OF THERAPEUTIC AGENTS
Exemplary embodiments provide wearable automatic injection devices for subcutaneously injecting a therapeutic agent into a patient's body at controlled rates, for example, in a single bolus. Exemplary embodiments provide methods for assembling wearable automatic injection devices for subcutaneously injecting a therapeutic agent into a patient's body at controlled rates. Exemplary embodiments provide methods for using wearable automatic injection devices for subcutaneously injecting a therapeutic agent into a patient's body at controlled rates.

Tissue penetration device
A tissue penetration device includes a magnetic source that produces a controllable magnetic field in a magnetically active region adjacent the magnetic source. A magnetic member is disposed at least partially in the magnetically active region. A permanent magnet is disposed at a proximal end of the magnetically active region for zeroing the position of the magnetic member while the tissue penetration device is inactive.

Medication delivery methods, devices and systems are provided. The medication delivery device includes a retractable sheath mechanism connected to a distal end of the device. The retractable sheath mechanism is axially movable between a first position to cover a needle attached to the distal end and a second position to expose the needle with an adjustable protrusion length. The retractable sheath mechanism includes one or more skin sensors disposed on an end surface thereof to detect skin before and during injection. In some cases, a needle carousel is provided to connect to the distal end of the device. The needle carousel supports multiple needle capsules each including a needle.
Needle assembly magazine
Described is a needle assembly magazine comprising a housing including a coupling having a proximal aperture adapted to receive a medicament delivery device and a distal aperture adapted to receive a needle of a needle assembly, a needle guard coupled to the housing and having an aperture axially aligned with the distal aperture of the coupling, and a needle assembly carrier rotatably coupled to the needle guard and adapted to hold a plurality of needle assemblies. Rotation of the needle assembly carrier aligns one needle assembly with the distal aperture and the aperture.
Needle Changing Apparatus
An apparatus is disclosed for storing and changing needles for connection with a medicament delivery device, comprising an inner housing, a reservoir disposed within the inner housing, and a needle holder disposed within the inner housing, for fluidly connecting a medicament container of the medicament delivery device with the reservoir. The apparatus also includes a plurality of patient needles displaceably disposed on the needle holder, and an outer housing displaceably disposed about the inner housing and providing a user interface to individually select one of the plurality of patient needles, connect the selected needle with the reservoir, expose the selected needle outside of the apparatus for injection, and store the selected needle.
