Electric screen device
This electric screen device is provided with an electric motor that causes slidable screen mounting frame part(s) to automatically slide. Torque generated by rotation of a rotation shaft of the electric motor is transmitted to a tension member that is provided inside the screen mounting frame parts, that connects screen guiding frame parts to each other at free ends thereof, and that forms a loop. The tension member moves in a state of being hung around the folded portions which apply tension to the tension member. The slidable screen mounting frame part(s) automatically slide in association with movement of the tension member. Thus, the screen automatically opens and closes.
Flexible hurricane window panel installable from inside a building
A hurricane panel system on the outside of an opening that can be installed from inside a multiple story building, through an open window without requiring tools of any type or outside assistance. This panel system includes a pliable, fabric, polyester panel that has a pair of parallel, vertical hems each containing a hem cord that are sized in diameter to fit into a pair of parallel, vertical or horizontal tracks connected to the outside of the building adjacent a window. The pliable, fabric panel includes one or more fabric straps that can be used to manipulate the panel in and out of the tracks. One or more locking pins are used to secure the panel in place relative to the tracks.
Retractable barrier assembly
A non-anchored, self-supporting screen assembly for selective placement by a user on a walking surface. The assembly includes a housing having a first end, a second end, and a sidewall extending therebetween and having an elongate opening. A base independently supports and disposes the housing in an upright position substantially normal to the walking surface during use. A rotatable rod is disposed within the housing and coupled to a trailing edge of a flexible screen. The flexible screen may be coupled to an external attachment point upon extension of the screen through the elongate opening and decoupled upon retraction. A spring is coupled to the rotatable rod to exert a force in a direction opposite a direction of extension of the flexible screen. The flexible screen of an adjacent assembly may be coupled to the assembly to form a screen system.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROTECTING STRUCTURES
Systems and methods are disclosed for protecting structures. In example embodiments, one or more waterproof barrier panels are sealed to one or more exterior walls of the structure. In other example embodiments, the barrier system comprises a plurality of sealing elements, protective panels and, optionally, tracks comprising shackles or hooks for suspending the protective panels. The barrier panel optionally comprises a thermoplastic olefin, and further optionally comprises a fire-resistant material.
Moving machinery safety
Apparatus and method for providing a safety barrier proximate to a hazardous region such as open support truss work of an escalator, comprising an extendable barrier member such as a chainmail panel, slidable on at least one support element securable to a support framework proximate to the hazardous region; wherein the extendable barrier member is movable between a closed and an open position allowing access to the hazardous region to allow for maintenance, and a closed position in which the barrier member provides a barrier over an opening of the support framework.
PARTITION MOUNTING SYSTEMS, PARTITION ASSEMBLY KITS, DOUBLE-SIDED ADHESIVE TAPE AND METHODS OF INSTALLATION AND APPLICATION
A partition assembly kit, includes a receptacle, a first strap, and a first zipper having a length greater than 50% a height of a standard-sized entry way. The strap and the first zipper are provided within the receptacle.
Smoke or Fire Barrier for a Clean Room
A smoke or fire barrier (1), comprising a head box (2) which contains a roller (9). Extending from the head box are a pair of side guides (3) which guide a metallic foil curtain (5) from the roller, where it is stored, to the ground when deployed. At the bottom of the curtain (5), where it meets the ground when deployed is a bottom bar (4). The metallic foil curtain (5) is made up of individual foil panels (6). The curtain is made from a panel of stainless steel with dimples (8) across it. The dimples allow improved characteristics when rolling and being stored as it holds its shape better. The dimples also provide improved heat transfer characteristics.
LOCKING SEAT AND SIMPLE TELESCOPIC DOOR FENCE WITH SAME
The present disclosure discloses a locking seat, which comprises a shell and a pivot seat pivotally installed on the shell, wherein the pivot seat is provided with a positioning hole, and a unidirectional positioning device is provided between the shell and the pivot seat. The present disclosure further discloses a simple telescopic door fence, which comprises two installing seats oppositely provided and a folding rod pivotally installed between the two installing seats, wherein at least one of the installing seats is provided with the locking seat, the folding rod is rotatable in a predetermined direction, at least two folding rods are provided, and a cloth is provided between the two folding rods. The unidirectional rotation of the folding rod is realized by the unidirectional positioning device, so that the cloth can be adjusted and rolled up.
Self-tensioning magnetic tracks and track assemblies
A magnetic track assembly including an elongate channel having an open side, an end wall, and two parallel side walls; a first magnet disposed within the elongate channel near an interior side of the end wall; a compartment defined within the elongate channel spaced from the first magnet; and a screen receiver disposed within the compartment and including a second magnet arranged facing the first magnet. In the magnetic track assembly, the first and second magnets are of opposite polarity and the screen receiver is loosely disposed within the compartment such that a magnetic bond is intact between the first and second magnets when the first and second magnets are close together and the magnetic bond is broken when the first and second magnets are pulled apart.
Window Panel Installation System For Protection Against Strong Winds
A temporary panel and panel system. The panel system comprises a fabric held in a two-part, snap-together connector system. The connector system is attachable to a window connector system to secure it temporarily until fasteners can be driven into the panel system and the channel of the window frame. The window connector includes a fastener boss that helps to hold the fasteners that hold the panel to the window frame. The fabric of the panel system is made of a geotextile. The marginal edge of the geotextile may be coated with urethane adhesive before being inserted between the two parts of the connector system. Placement of fasteners along the perimeter of the connector system is guided by a centering groove in the connector system that positions the fastener over a fastener boss in the window frame. The panel system, help temporarily in place to the window frame, may then be securely attached by fasteners driven into the connector system.
