In some embodiments, a nesting grille may include an alpha link having a top alpha link grommet, a beta link, and a plurality of cross members. In some embodiments, each of the plurality of cross members are coupled to at least one of the alpha link and the beta link. In one embodiment, the top alpha link grommet is configured to receive one of the plurality of cross members. In one embodiment, the grille is configured to be moveable between an extended state and a retracted state, the grille coiled about itself with the alpha link disposed inside of the beta link when the grille is in the retracted state.

A retractable curtain system is provided and includes a curtain support system, a curtain, and a retraction system. The curtain support system includes a pair of outer walls and an upper frame to provide a curtain receiving space. The curtain covers the curtain receiving space and includes a first non-transparent panel and transparent panel connected to the first non-transparent panel. The retraction system is connected to the curtain to lower and raise the transparent panel.

In one embodiment, a guide system includes a first member configured to be fixed to a structure. A coupling element is fixed to the first member. A second member is moveable relative to the first member. The second member is configured to receive the coupling element to couple the first member to the second member. The protecting roller devices can include two separable portions each having a wheel at one end, with a connection portion therebetween. In some embodiments, the connecting portion passes through a hollow axle of a hinge to connect the separable portions. In some other embodiments, the protecting roller device can comprise a middle portion that can be connected to the hinge, such as using a fastener. The highest point of the protecting roller device can be above the highest point of the hinge, such that the protecting roller device will encounter an obstruction such as an automobile instead of the hinge. The protecting roller device can be made of a material designed to prevent or minimize damage to the obstruction.

In one embodiment, a guide system includes a first member configured to be fixed to a structure. A coupling element is fixed to the first member. A second member is moveable relative to the first member. The second member is configured to receive the coupling element to couple the first member to the second member. The invention relates to a security grille system (1) for securing a passage at least partly. The security grille (2) is arranged to be brought from an extended state, in which the grille (2) can block the passage at least partly, into a retracted state, in which at least a part of the previously blocked part of the passage is unblocked. The security grille (2) comprises a multiplicity of bars (4), preferably substantially horizontally extending bars (4), connected by means of multiple elongated connecting elements for interconnecting respective bars (4). The security grille system (1) further comprises a chain connected to the grille (2), preferably a chain being flexible in only one dimension and/or being roller chain, and at least one chain limiting (28) member for at least locally limiting movement of the chain (19), e.g. in a direction in which it is flexible, such as to counteract that one or more links of the chain can be substantially moved away from a regular route along which the links move when the grille (2) is moved from its extended state to its retracted state or vice versa.
