Vertical fall arrest safety device
11052270 · 2021-07-06 · ·

A vertical fall arrest safety device travels along a rail of a vertical track and is configured for quick attachment and detachment anywhere along the rail. The device has a mounting body having side rail engagements configured for slidably engaging behind the edges of a rail of the vertical track in use. The engagements are spaced and staggered so as to receive the rail therebetween when the mounting body is at an angle, and then slidably attach to the rail when the mounting body is twisted into alignment with the rail. The device also has a lever pivotally coupled to the mounting body at a fulcrum. As such, when a downward force is applied to a connection point of a distal end of the lever, an opposite distal end of the lever frictionally engages the rail.

Combination of two safety attachments for ladders
20200270947 · 2020-08-27 · ·

A combination of two safety attachments for attaching to the stiles of a ladder that will improve the grip of a ladder against the surface it is in contact with during use.

Each safety attachment incorporates an extended main body to support the components, a gliding channel section and a non-gliding channel section, each formed to accept a range of ladder stile sizes. The gliding channel section of each safety attachment is captured on, and can glide along, a screw threaded rod. Also captured on the screw threaded rod is a rotating thumb nut which is adjusted to position the gliding channel section so that both the gliding and non-gliding channel sections are in contact with the ladder stile to which the safety attachment is fitted. Each safety attachment incorporates a rocking section with a contact face that contacts the surface against which a ladder is placed during use and the rocking section enables full face contact of the safety attachment over a range of angles between a ladder and the surface against which it rests during use. Surfaces of the gliding channel section and the non-gliding channel section that contact the ladder, and the surface of the rocking section that is in contact with the surface against which the ladder is placed during use, incorporate a deformable material to improve grip.

LADDER

A ladder is revealed. A sliding rail is formed on a surface of one side of each of two ladder poles of a ladder body. At least one sliding block is mounted and sliding in the sliding rail of the ladder pole. An assembly member is arranged between the sliding blocks of the ladder poles. A ring on user's safety clothing is set on the center of the assembly member and connected to the assembly member during climbing. When the user falls off the ladder accidentally, the sliding blocks connected to the assembly member are also pulled so that the sliding blocks are inclined an angle and the braking end within the sliding rail is against the wall of the sliding rail for braking and slip resistance. Thereby the descending is slowed down and the ladder safety during climbing is improved.

The present application relates to the technical field of lifting equipment, and provides a traction machine and a lifting equipment. The traction machine includes traction pulleys, traction ropes driven by the traction pulleys and fixed pulleys for changing directions of the traction ropes. The fixed pulley is provided with a sensor sensing member rotating with the fixed pulley, a traction machine sensor is arranged beside the fixed pulley; the traction machine sensor is configured to detect a rotation speed of the sensor sensing member, and send the rotation speed to a controller of the traction machine; the controller controls a rotation of the traction pulley according to detected data of the traction machine sensor. Since this kind of traction machine is provided with the sensor sensing member and the traction machine sensor, it is capable of detecting whether the traction machine has an abnormal operation, and stopping the traction machine immediately in an abnormal state.

Top bracket for fall protection safety system

A top bracket for supporting a safety cable of a vertical climbing fall protection system, the bracket including a base plate and a pivotally deflectable plate that is integrally and pivotally connected to the base plate by a neck. The top bracket may also include an abutment plate with a forward abutment surface that is separated from a rearward abutment surface of the pivotally deflectable plate by an elongate gap.

A MODULAR LADDER SYSTEM

A modular ladder system has a rung section having two elongate lateral stile extrusions and elongate rung extrusions spanning therebetween. Each stile extrusion may define an attachment side having an attachment face which has two attachment channels which are adjacent, parallel and longitudinally arranged along the attachment face. Each attachment channel may have inward facing rails which define an elongate insertion space therebetween and a relatively wider connector head accommodation void thereunderneath. Furthermore, each rail may define a connector head engaging under edge. Each stile extrusion may further define a connection side adjacent to the attachment side which may define a splice joint extrusion accommodating void therein. In this way, the present modular ladder system may be quickly and easily constructed and various accessories quickly and easily attached thereto.

Ladder installation for equipment tower

An equipment tower having a ladder formed of a plurality of ladder segments each joined to a respective tower segment by a pivotal connection prior to the tower segments being stacked during erection of the tower. The pivotal connection provides a degree of freedom of movement which facilitates the interconnection of adjoining ends of the ladder segments after stacking of the tower segments. Additional accommodation of as-built spacing of the adjacent ends of the ladder segments may be provided by a connecting segment. The pivotal connection may be a rod inserted through a rung of the ladder and supported by a support assembly attached to the tower segment.
