SAFETY SYRINGE
A safety syringe (100; 700; 1200) comprising: a barrel (104; 704; 1204) having an opening at an end thereof; a syringe plunger (108; 708; 1208) configured to move within the barrel such that an inward stroke of the syringe plunger causes a substance within the barrel to be expelled from the opening; and a sheath (112; 712; 1212) configured to cover at least partially the opening in the barrel after use of the syringe, wherein the sheath is coupled to the syringe plunger and is configured to decouple from the syringe plunger at a point on the inward stroke such that the sheath is moveable independently of the syringe plunger and further movement of the sheath after decoupling at least partially covers the opening in the barrel.
DELIVERY SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SUCH DELIVERY SYSTEM
A delivery system includes a cartridge storing a liquid, and a dosing mechanism being configured to connect to the cartridge and to dispense a predetermined amount of liquid from the cartridge. The cartridge is non-reversibly transformable from a filling configuration, in which liquid can be drawn into the cartridge, to a dispensing configuration, in which liquid can only be dispensed from the cartridge
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SAFETY SYRINGE
One embodiment is directed to a system for injecting, comprising a syringe body defining an interior medicine chamber; a stopper member configured to be inserted into the interior medicine chamber to contain medicine within the medicine chamber; a plunger member configured to be manually manipulated to insert the stopper member relative to the syringe body; and a needle having proximal and distal ends, the proximal end comprising an anchoring geometry configured to be at least partially inserted into the stopper member such that upon retraction of the stopper member, the needle is pulled proximally along with the stopper to be at least partially contained within the interior medicine chamber.
NOVEL COMPOSITE SAFETY SELF-DESTRUCTING SYRINGE
The invention discloses a novel composite safety self-destructing syringe, comprising cylinder, rod, ring, and needle hub; the cylinder comprises standard and widened wide sections; the inner wall width of the widened section is larger; the widened section is disposed on the top of the cylinder, and the standard section has a fixing groove; the rod is movably connected in the cylinder, and the bottom thereof is mated with the inner wall of the cylinder; the rod inside has a cavity, and a spring sleeve is disposed at the lower of the cavity. The fixing groove can mate with the convex reinforcement to achieve a good fixing effect. The rod has two different widths, making the sealing ring and the sealing rubber difficult to be rebounded. The exhaust hole is for labor-saving and facilitating retracting the syringe needle. The engagement block can better ensure the stability of the spring sleeve.
SYRINGE
A syringe (100) comprising a barrel (111) with a lumen is provided. The barrel (111) is adapted to contain a drug, the barrel (111) having a distal end wall portion (198) and a tubular wall (112) extending proximally from said distal end wall portion (198), whereby the barrel (111) extends along an axis (1000). The distal end wall portion (198) has an opening (199) extending into a syringe head (140) adapted to receive a syringe needle, said syringe head (140) having a lumen smaller in transversal cross-section than the barrel lumen; the syringe (100) further comprising: a plunger (196) extending along the axis, said plunger shaft being displaceable along the axis (1000) within said barrel (111).
AUTO DISABLE PREFILLED SYRINGE WITH PLUNGER ROD SPRING
The present invention discloses a plunger rod (104) for use in connection with an injection syringe barrel (102). The plunger rod (104) comprises an elongated rod (114). The elongated rod (114) comprises a proximal end (107) adapted to receive an applied force along an axis (1000). It further comprises a distal end (105) adapted to transmit the applied force along the axis (1000). The plunger rod (104) is adapted to be inserted into a barrel (102) of a syringe (100) extending along the axis (1000). The plunger rod (104) is further adapted to transmit force along the axis (1000) to a plunger stopper (103) disposed within the barrel (102). The plunger rod (104) further comprises a radial spring mechanism (106, 117, 118, 119, 120), adapted to interact with an inner surface of the barrel (102).
Drug delivery device and predetermined breaking member for a drug delivery device
A drug delivery device comprises a housing and a mechanical assembly, which is at least partially accommodated in the housing. The mechanical assembly comprises a predetermined breaking member, which is configured to be damaged when forcefully separated from the housing.
SAFETY SYRINGE
A safety syringe having a casing with the distal end of the casing divided by one or more slots into a plurality of fingers that are external to and extend distally from the casing. Each finger has a hook. The hooks engage a needle seat to hold a retraction assembly with the needle protruding from the casing. Movement of a slider within the casing causes the hooks to release the needle seat.
