Method and system for evaluating and repairing a surface and/or subsurface
A method and a system for evaluating a surface and/or subsurface for a plurality of conditions may comprise a surface contaminant removal device, an illuminating device, a detector unit, and a vehicle capable of travelling at a velocity of at least 1 mph. The method and system may include repair of at least one condition of the plurality of conditions. The repair system may include one or more vessels in fluid communication with a nozzle array.
MACHINE, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ROAD CONSTRUCTION
A machine is disclosed for use building a road. The machine may include a vehicle, and a distribution arrangement mounted to the vehicle and configured to distribute a material on to a surface as the vehicle moves over the surface. The machine may also include at least one sensor mounted to the vehicle and configured to generate a signal indicative of a texture of the surface during movement of the vehicle over the surface, a locating device configured to detect a location of the texture, and a controller. The controller may be specially programmed to determine an amount of the material to be applied to the location of the texture based on the signal, and to automatically cause the distribution arrangement to distribute the amount of the material on to the surface at the location of the texture as the vehicle moves over the surface.
ROAD FINISHING MACHINE WITH SUCTION DEVICE
A road finishing machine comprises a screed for producing a paving layer from a paving material, a material bunker for receiving the paving material, a longitudinal conveying device configured to transport the paving material from the material bunker toward the screed, and a transverse distributor auger configured to distribute the paving material transported by the longitudinal conveying device transversely in front of the screed. The transverse distributor auger is mounted in front of a screed basic body of the screed within a transverse distributor channel, which is formed at least in sections by channel plates supported at a chassis of the road finishing machine, and by pre-scrapers attached laterally of a screed basic body of the screed. The road finishing machine further includes at least one suction device with at least one intake line which is configured to suck off aerosols forming during the transverse distribution of the paving material.
AUTOMATED SPRAY SYSTEM FOR A MILLING MACHINE
A spray system for a milling machine includes a plurality of flow adjustment assemblies, which include a flow adjustment assembly, and a spray controller. The flow adjustment assembly includes a pressure sensor and a valve. The spray controller is configured to receive, from a user interface, an input that indicates a desired flow rate of a fluid through the flow adjustment assembly. The spray controller is configured to receive, from the pressure sensor, a pressure measurement of the fluid. The spray controller is configured to determine, based on receiving the pressure measurement, a desired opening size of the valve to enable the desired flow rate of the fluid. The spray controller is configured to actuate the valve to adjust an opening size of the valve to equal the desired opening size and cause the fluid to flow through the flow adjustment assembly at the desired flow rate.
Height and rotational adjustment system for a plurality of spray guns used in a line striper
A system and method have been shown for the effective implementation of a height and rotational adjustment system for a plurality of spray guns for use in a line striper.
Pavement Repair Method and System Thereof
A method for repairing/treating a pavement with the use of a rheology modifier is disclosed. The method comprises first applying a layer of a rheology modifier composition comprising a rejuvenating component onto the top surface of the pavement that needs repair, then applying a second layer of a binder onto the rheology modifier layer. The second layer of binder effectively seals the rheology modifier layer with the rejuvenating component for intimate contact with the top pavement surface, thus penetrating the surface layer to extend the life of the pavement surface, arresting the deterioration of visco-elastic properties and restoring some of those properties.
Pavement repair method and system thereof
A method for repairing/treating a pavement with the use of a rheologically modifier is disclosed. The method comprises first applying a layer of a rheologically modifier composition comprising a rejuvenating component onto the top surface of the pavement that needs repair, then applying a second layer of an asphaltic binder onto the rheologically modifier layer. The second layer of asphaltic binder effectively seals the rheologically modifier layer with the rejuvenating component for intimate contact with the top pavement surface, thus penetrating the surface layer to extend the life of the pavement surface, arresting the deterioration of visco-elastic properties and restoring some of those properties.
Pothole Patcher With Emulsion Oil Rejuvenator System
A portable device is shown for transporting asphalt repair materials for use in repairing potholes in asphalt pavements. The device has a body with a hopper compartment for transporting and dispensing asphalt mix materials. Emulsion oils are held and dispensed from a separate emulsion oil tank. An emulsion pump provides emulsion oils to a spray wand. The emulsion oil tank includes an emulsion rejuvenator apparatus which works to prevent separation of the emulsion oils. A control circuit actuates the rejuvenator any time that the emulsion pump is turned on to supply emulsion oils to a spray wand to spray emulsions onto the road repair site.
Machine, system and method for resurfacing existing roads using premixed stress absorbing membrane interlayer (SAMI) material
Various implementations include a machine for resurface existing roads. The machine may include a premixed stress absorbing membrane interlayer (SAMI) material distribution component configured to distribute a premixed SAMI material on an existing road. The distributed premixed SAMI material may include a mixture and/or combination of binding material and pre-cut fiber material. The machine may also include a channel positioned adjacent and downstream of the premixed SAMI material distribution component. The channel may be configured to supply an asphalt mixture directly over the premixed SAMI material. Additionally, the machine may include a screed positioned adjacent the channel. The screed may be positioned to contact the asphalt mixture.
