Friction-Increasing Element for Attachment to a Roadblock, and Roadblock Provided With at Least One Such Friction-Increasing Element
The present invention relates to a friction-increasing element for attachment to a roadblock, comprising a friction-increasing element body for attachment to the roadblock, and at least one tapered contact edge, which tapered contact edge is carried by the friction-increasing element body such that the tapered contact edge is facing away from the friction-increasing element body. The invention also relates to a roadblock provided with a least one of such friction-increasing element.
MULTIPURPOSE STACKABLE SELF-FILLING INTERLOCKING WATERTIGHT MODULAR BARRIER SYSTEM
Modular multipurpose, rapidly deployable, barriers that couple together into barrier walls and barrier blocks. The barrier walls are watertight, self-filling, and capable of being coupled horizontally without vertically lifting the barriers. The barriers are capable of being vertically and horizontally stacked in all directions while also allowing the stacked blocks to be offset and reinforced with poles, ropes and cables that thread through the stack vertically to support fencing and other materials. Horizontally, the barriers also permit poles, ropes and cables to be thread through the barriers greatly increasing their strength. The modular barriers are also stackable to be efficiently stored within truck and shipping container. The barriers may also be bullet proof.
Roadblock for temporary installation to block traffic and/or as a security precaution
The present invention relates to a roadblock for temporary installation to block traffic and/or as a security precaution, including: an elongated casing with two opposing longitudinal side walls and an, the two side walls joining, upper wall; and at least one casing support structure located in the elongate casing and connecting to both the side walls; supports for resting on the ground/surface connected to the lower side of the elongate casing and/or the lower side of the casing support structure, and plural stabilisation arms protruding from one of the longitudinal side walls.
Portable street planter
A portable street planter that is positionable in a street to divert or divide traffic. The portable street planter provides an aesthetic traffic divider that also serves as a planter basin for plants and trees. The traffic divider may also provide foot and arm support for a bicyclist at rest.
Anchorless crash cushion apparatus with metal nose cap
An anchorless crash cushion apparatus having a plurality of interconnected water-filled crash cushion elements and a non-water filled forward-most cushion element includes vehicle capture structure resisting upward tilting of an impacting vehicle and ramping of the impacting vehicle and stabilizing structure resisting relative rotation between the crash cushion elements in both vertical and lateral planes during vehicle impact. The forward-most cushion element defines a notch and a metal nose cap having a weakened midsection is located in front of the notch.
Traffic Barrier and Soundwall System
A traffic barrier and soundwall system is disclosed having wide-flanged [or H-posts] vertical posts oriented with a flange facing a roadway. Traffic barriers are located between them. The barriers have recesses at the intersection of their backs and ends. An angle bracket is positioned in the recess to separate the post from the barrier. A U-shaped strap has a base and a pair of arms extending from the base. Traffic barriers are positioned against the posts so that the angle brackets in the recesses are adjacent to the road-facing flange of the post. A strap fastener connects an arm of the strap to the recess of each of the adjacent traffic barriers. In this way, the base of the strap surrounds the rearward-facing flange of the post to secure the traffic barriers to the post. Sound barrier panels are located on the top of the traffic barriers, secured between the webs of the neighboring posts.
Traffic Barrier With Inertial Crash Panels and Sound Barrier
A traffic barrier and soundwall system is disclosed having wide-flanged [or h-posts] vertical posts oriented with a flange facing a roadway. Traffic barriers are located between them. The barriers have recesses at the intersection of their backs and ends. Sound panels are stacked on top of the traffic barriers. A crash panel is located between the vertical posts, above one or more sound panels. The crash panels have recesses at the intersection of their backs and ends. Additional sound panels are stacked above the crash panels. An angle bracket is located in the recess. U-shaped connectors connect the recesses of adjacent traffic barriers together around a post. U-shaped connectors connect the recesses of adjacent crash panels together around a post, and above the traffic barriers and sound panels to achieve a MASH TL-4 crash test rating.
ROAD SAFETY BARRIER
A road safety barrier has a plurality of panels flanking one another at respective vertical lateral edges thereof, made of a material deformable upon impact by a vehicle, and a plurality of vertical support elements supporting the panels. The vertical support elements include a first and a second vertical support member facing one another at the flanked vertical lateral edges of the panels, on opposite sides with respect to two major faces of the panels. The barrier has components for reciprocally blocking the first and the second vertical support member to the two opposite faces of the panels, and longitudinal stiffening elements coupled to the panels at respective upper longitudinal edges thereof.
Traffic barrier and mounting assembly
The present invention relates to a mounting assembly (3) for mounting a traffic barrier (1) to a surface, comprising: an attachment base (5) configured to be stationary connected with the traffic barrier; and a ground connecting element (7), configured to be stationary connected with the ground by means of fastening means, such as screws, pins or bolts. The invention further relates to a traffic barrier comprising such a mounting assembly.
