FENCE COMPRISING FENCE MODULES
Fence comprising at least a first and a second fence module (1), wherein said fence modules (1) comprise a base (2) with a receptacle for a substance, wherein the first fence module (1) comprises a first connecting element (3a) with an upright passage (4a), the second fence module (1) comprises a second connecting element (3b) with an upright passage (4b), and the fence comprises a connecting rod (5) for extending through both said passages (4a, 4b) to connect the fence modules (1) to each other, and in that in a connected state of the fence modules (1), these fence modules (1) can occupy at least two positions with regard to each other, being a first position where the distance between the said passages (4a, 4b) along the connecting rod (5) is minimal and a second position where the distance between the said passages (4a, 4b) along the connecting rod (5) is maximal.
Movable crash barrier section
A crash barrier section (1) comprising a deflection body with at least one traveling gear (3) that is movable between a standby position and a displacement position. The at least one traveling gear (3) is retracted into the standby position in a receptacle (4) of the deflection body and is extended in the travel position from the receptacle (4) in such a manner that the crash barrier section (1) is movable on a support (5), in particular a road section. The crash barrier section (1) additionally comprises a lifting device (6) by which the crash barrier section (1) can be raised from the support (5) for extending and retracting the traveling gear (3).
Portable view barrier system
The portable view barrier system is a privacy screen. The portable view barrier system is adapted for use with emergency service personnel. The portable view barrier system is adapted to protect the privacy of a patient from the view of traffic during an unfortunate event. The portable view barrier system comprises a plurality of mesh panels, one or more living hinges, and a plurality of weighted anchors. Each of the plurality of mesh panels is a screen the blocks the view of the unfortunate event from passing traffic. The one or more living hinges attaches an initial mesh panel selected from the plurality of mesh panels to a subsequent panel selected from the plurality of mesh panels. The plurality of weighted anchors form anchor points that anchor the interconnected plurality of mesh panels to the ground. The portable view barrier system is a collapsible structure stored within an emergency response vehicle.
Barrier Element and Support Structure for Use in a Barrier Element
The invention relates to a barrier element (1) for bounding a carriageway comprising an elongated casing (2), including two opposing longitudinal side walls (3) and a, the two side walls joining, upper wall (4); and at least one casing support structure located in the elongate casing and connecting to both the side walls. The invention further relates to a support structure for use in a barrier element.
Road safety barrier
A road safety barrier has a plurality of panels flanking one another at respective vertical lateral edges thereof, made of a material deformable upon impact by a vehicle, and a plurality of vertical support elements supporting the panels. The vertical support elements include a first and a second vertical support member facing one another at the flanked vertical lateral edges of the panels, on opposite sides with respect to two major faces of the panels. The barrier has components for reciprocally blocking the first and the second vertical support member to the two opposite faces of the panels, and longitudinal stiffening elements coupled to the panels at respective upper longitudinal edges thereof.
Barrier
An elongate barrier (3) comprises an outer shell in an elongate lower section of the barrier that defines a cavity (11) that receives and contains a pourable settable ballast material when the barrier is being manufactured. The barrier also comprises a solid block (15) of a ballast material in the cavity formed from the pourable settable ballast material.
Security and transportation system for border barrier
An improved border barrier system is disclosed. The system includes columns situated periodically along an international border, beams extending horizontally between tops of the columns, metallic based walls extending between each pair of columns, a power line extending within the beams, a continuous electric railway located on top of the horizontal surface, electric rail cars powered by the electric railway, sensor arrays located periodically along the border barrier system, stations located periodically along the border barrier system, each station including a housing structure configured for housing personnel, a power generating station or power relay station coupled to the power line and the electric railway for powering the electric railway, and a tunnel that allows the electric railway to enter one end of the housing structure and exit another end of the housing structure.
SAFETY BARRIER
A safety barrier includes: a body installed on a road; a steel plate portion placed between the body and the road; and an anchor portion passing through the steel plate portion and having an upper part buried in the body and a lower part buried in the road, wherein a first space in which a middle part of the anchor portion other than the upper part and the lower part is placed, is formed between the body and the road, and when an impact is applied to the body, the body is moved while accompanying bending deformation of the middle part in the first space so that the impact is absorbed, and after bending deformation of the middle part occurs, the steel plate portion breaks the anchor portion to implement further movement of the body caused by the impact so that the impact is dispersed.
System and method for tracking and recording locations of road barriers
A barrier transfer machine includes a moveable chassis, an entry snout, an exit snout, a conveyor system, and a tracking system that tracks and records the locations of road barriers as they are placed on a road surface so that the last locations of the barriers can be established for evidentiary purposes and/or for alerting operators or others of mis-positioned road barriers.
Mounting Assembly for a Traffic Barrier and Traffic Barrier Comprising a Mounting Assembly
The present invention relates to a mounting assembly (3) for mounting a traffic barrier (1) to a surface, comprising: an attachment base (5) configured to be stationary connected with the traffic barrier; and a ground connecting element (7), configured to be stationary connected with the ground by means of fastening means, such as screws, pins or bolts. The invention further relates to a traffic barrier comprising such a mounting assembly.
