To better secure the hard material bodies embedded in the rubber compound against uncontrolled fall-out from the clearing strip upon overheating, each individual hard material body is anchored within the clearing strip by an additional anchoring device that does not limit the movability of the hard material bodies relative to the steel plates.

A snowplow assembly for attachment to a vehicle, comprising a first plow blade assembly and a second plow blade assembly, connectable to each other by a hinge; a support assembly fixedly couplable to the first plow blade assembly; and wherein the first and second plow blade assemblies are configured to be angularly adjustable relative to at least a portion of the support assembly.

A folding blade for a clearing apparatus with a clearing blade includes a folding bar, a lever mechanism for pivotally mounting the folding bar on a base part of the clearing blade, and a spring element for arrangement between the base part and the lever mechanism, for returning the folding bar to an initial position in which the folding bar forms an extension of a blade plate of the clearing blade. The lever mechanism is designed in such a way that the folding bar is pivotable from the initial position to a retracted position along a first pivoting path by overcoming a spring force of the spring element, and that the folding bar is pivotable from the retracted position to the initial position along a second pivoting path due to the spring force.

The lift actuator including a lift actuator reservoir configured to accumulate compressible gas, which is operable to bias the lift actuator toward an extended position. A pneumatic valve may be operable to selectively control supply of compressible gas from a gas reservoir to the lift actuator reservoir.

A snow plow blade assembly allows substantially rigid blades to shift in response to surfaces and obstacles without placing undue stress on the blade assembly as a whole. The assembly includes a flexible bushing that is received in a bushing hole of a blade, the bushing further having at least one bushing hole to receive at least one stem. A kit contains replacement blades and bushings, a flexible bushing or variable density, a wear block assembly on the blade trailing edge, a protuberance on the bushing that is received in one of the plates and a bushing hole formed as two connected lobes for receiving a like shaped bushing.

The scraper blade device also includes a plurality of blade segments that can be tilted with reference to one another to follow profile variations of the roadway surface. This, among other things, allows the efficiency of the cleaning to be preserved even when the scraper blade device becomes very large when fully extended.
