CONSTRUCTION MACHINE FOR SPECIAL CIVIL ENGINEERING
A construction machine for special civil engineering has a leader on which an advancing carriage is guided, which carriage has a holder for a work device, in particular a drilling rig or pile-driving implement, and which can be moved along the leader by way of a first advancing cable (upper cable) and a second advancing cable (lower cable), by way of a drive winch or a drive cylinder, wherein the advancing carriage is connected with the advancing cables and wherein at least one of the advancing cables is attached to a fixed point on the leader and/or the advancing carriage, wherein at least one fixed point is formed by a cable tensioner attached to the leader or the advancing carriage. At least one cable tensioner includes a tensioning drum on which an end-side section of an advancing cable is attached with multiple cable windings.
SELF-CONTAINED SOIL STABILIZATION SYSTEM
A self-contained soil stabilization system may include a chassis, at least one motor coupled to the chassis configured to actuate a locomotor configured to move the chassis, and a hopper disposed on the chassis and configured to contain a payload configured to stabilize soil. The payload may be deployed from the hopper to stabilize soil in a target soil stabilization area. In some embodiments, the payload may be a chemical soil stabilization agent, a pile, or a sheet pile.

Apparatus and method for driving a pile into the ground before lifting and stabilizing the foundation of a building
Described are an apparatus and method for driving piles prior to lifting and stabilizing foundations that have subsided in unstable ground. A press head, comprising two non-slip arms actuated by a safety lever, is connected to an angle cleat-type foundation piece secured to the foundation by a pair of hydraulic rams in order to drive the piles into the ground as far as the bedrock when the rams contract. The apparatus includes a safety system actuated by the lever for controlling the arms. In order to level the building, other hydraulic rams are installed on each driven pile, all connected in series in order that they may be actuated simultaneously in order to lift the building. When the foundations have been adequately raised and levelled, each pile and the corresponding angle cleat-type foundation piece, both made of steel, are welded in order to stabilize the foundations.

Post installation apparatus
Post installation apparatuses are disclosed that decrease the length of a post subject to buckling so that more force can be applied when installing a post in the ground. In one embodiment, a post installation apparatus includes a frame that defines an elongated vertical passage configured to receive a post such that the post vertically extends through the elongated vertical passage when the elongated vertical passage receives the post. The frame provides the structural support so that a post secured to the frame does not buckle. To allow for easy removal of the post, the elongated vertical passage defines an elongated vertical opening in the frame such that the post is removable through the elongated vertical opening. The post installation apparatus also includes one or more securement devices that are configured to be positioned across the elongated vertical opening so as to secure the post in the elongated vertical passage.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SUBSEA WALL INSERTION
A lead for installing a pile into a seabed floor comprising: an elongated body extending longitudinally along a first axis in a first direction from a top end to a bottom end and configured to receive a pile oriented in the first direction; and a lead indexing foot attached to the bottom end of the elongated body and laterally offset with regard to the first axis.

CIVIL ENGINEERING DEVICE
A civil engineering device, in particular a pile-driving or drilling device, has at least one positioner, in particular a working carriage for accommodating an implement, connected with a carrier device by relatively movable links within a kinematic chain and connected by joints and/or linear adjusters and with at least six actuators for changing their corresponding position and/or orientation, and with a control and regulation device for controlling them. The control and regulation device has an input module for specifying a positioner target position, and is connected with a computer module that determines at least one displacement path for moving the positioner from its current (starting) position to the target position, and, using inverse kinematics, the locations of the individual actuators required for implementing the path, and sends these locations to the control and regulation device to control the actuators. A method multi-dimensionally, free positions a civil engineering device positioner.
