TIP AND ADAPTER COUPLING SYSTEM
A lock assembly for attaching a wear member to a base includes a retaining block with a spring attached to the retaining block that fits into an aperture of the base. A lock pin fits into the aperture of the wear member, and the aperture of the retaining block, retaining the wear member onto the base. The lock pin engages the spring that prevents unintentional rotation of the lock pin so that the lock pin is trapped in the aperture of the wear member, preventing its unintentional removal.
ADAPTER AND TIP COUPLING SYSTEM
A lock assembly for attaching a wear member to a base includes a threaded retaining block with a C-spring attached to the retaining block that fits into an aperture of the base. A threaded lock pin fits into the aperture of the wear member, and the threaded aperture of the retaining block, retaining the wear member onto the base. The threaded lock pin engages the C-spring that prevents unintentional rotation of the threaded lock pin so that the threaded lock pin is trapped in the aperture of the wear member, preventing its unintentional removal.
PROTECTIVE CAPSULES FOR EARTH MOVING MACHINES
A capsule for protecting an electronic device for an earth moving machine, the capsule comprising one or more walls arranged so as to form both an inner chamber configured for housing an electronic device, and an opening through which the inner chamber is accessed, the opening being at least partially covered by a cover, the one or more walls provide the capsule with a geometry that is convex and adapted for allowing extraction of the capsule from a cavity of the earth moving machine by rotating the capsule. Also, a device for an earth moving machine comprising a cavity and a capsule.
METHOD OF FIXING A WEAR ELEMENT ON THE FRONT EDGE OF A SUPPORT AND CORRESPONDING FIXING MEANS
The invention relates to a method of fixing a wear element (2) on the front edge of a support (1) using fixing means, where the wear element (2) comprises two arms (3) with first through openings (4) and the support (1) has a second through opening (5) sandwiched between the first through openings (4). The fixing means comprise a C-shaped first body (6), a wedge (14), ratchet means (24) between both and a second body (8), which are housed in the openings in an assembled position. The method consists of positioning the first body (6) and the second body (8) in the openings, inserting the wedge (14) between both, positioning a screw (21) between the wedge (14) and the second body (8) and screwing it in such a way that the wedge (14) moves with respect to the second body (8) and the first body (6) until the wedge (14) reaches its assembled position, and at least partially unscrewing the screw (21) and removing the screw (21) from the fixing means.
STABILIZING FEATURES IN A WEAR MEMBER ASSEMBLY
A wear member assembly may include a nose attachable to a bucket lip. The nose may include a rear portion having a first set of substantially planar surfaces including a first, second, and third subset of surfaces. The third subset of surfaces may be angled and positioned between the first subset of surfaces and the second subset of surfaces. The nose may also include a forward portion positioned forwardly adjacent to the rear portion, the forward portion having a second set of substantially planar surfaces including a fourth, fifth, and sixth subset of surfaces. The sixth set of surfaces may be angled and positioned between the first subset of surfaces and the second subset of surfaces. The wear member assembly may also include a wear member having a cavity comprising rear and forward bearing surfaces corresponding to the third and sixth subset of surfaces.

Power operated locking system earth moving equipment and method
A power operated locking device for securing for example a tooth or an adaptor, to a ground engaging system, the lock having an internal motor, and sensing system operated by remote wireless technology to unlock and lock the locking device, and a wireless transmitting handheld device for the locking, and unlocking of the power operated locking device, wherein the motor and drive and electronic response circuits are all contained within the power operated locking device.
Attachment pin assembly
An attachment pin assembly includes a first pin body, a second pin body, and a bolt for fastening and fixing the first pin body and the second pin body to each other. The first pin body has a first shaft portion and a flange portion formed at an end of the first shaft portion. The second pin body has a second shaft portion. The bolt is inserted into the flange portion and the first shaft portion of the first pin body and the second shaft portion of the second pin body. Moreover, a housing recessed portion for housing a head of the bolt is formed at the first pin body, and a bottom surface of the housing recessed portion is arranged on a tip end side of the first shaft portion as a second pin body side with respect to a seating surface of the flange portion.
