CONNECTOR FOR A WATER SYSTEM
The present invention relates to a connector (100) for a water system. The connector comprises an inlet connector (105), a connector body and an outlet connector (120) arranged in sequence. The connector body is open-sided so as to form a tundish having an open air gap between the inlet and outlet connectors (105, 120), through which water can fall in use. The connector (100) further comprises a sensor for detecting the presence of water within the connector body.
Dual Air Admittance Valve with Locking Mechanism and Pressure Indicator
An apparatus to allow or stop an air flow into an enclosed environment or piping system comprises (a) a housing, (b) a first valve seat, (c) a first sealing member, (d) a second valve seat, (e) a second sealing member, (f) at least one locking mechanism configured to limit a movement of the first sealing member and/or the second sealing member; wherein the first sealing member moves away from the first valve seat when the second pressure is greater than the first pressure in a predetermined pressure difference; wherein the second sealing member moves away from the first valve seat when the third pressure is greater than the second pressure in a predetermined pressure difference; wherein the first pressure communicates with a system pressure in the piping system; and wherein the third pressure communicates with an ambient air pressure.
DUAL AIR ADMITTANCE VALVE
Embodiments of a valve assembly and a plumbing system incorporating the same are provided herein. In some embodiments, a valve assembly for use with an enclosed environment includes a housing having an interior volume, an inlet disposed at a first end of the housing and fluidly coupled to an environment surrounding the housing, and an outlet disposed at a second end of the housing opposite the first end and fluidly coupled to the enclosed environment; a first valve having a first valve seat and a first sealing member at least partially extending through a first opening in the first valve seat in a closed position; and a second valve disposed beneath the first valve and having a second valve seat and a second sealing member at least partially extending through a second opening in the second valve seat in a closed position.
Portable dialysis drainage system and method
A toilet modified for disposal of dialysis waste includes a base, a bowl, a water supply port, and a dialysis drain port. In the dialysis drain port is a two piece air gap device that establishes a gap between ends of first and second drain tubes of a dialysis machine and a fluid level in the air gap. RO water and effluent from the dialysis machine enter the chamber of the air gap and mix, before being passed along a path from the dialysis drain port to the bowl of the toilet, where it can be dispelled in a sanitary manner in compliant with all pertinent codes and regulations.
WATER STOPPING MECHANISM CONFIGURED FOR WATER OUTLET DEVICE AND WATER OUTLET DEVICE
A water stopping mechanism configured for a water outlet device comprises one or more pad members configured for elastic deformation. The one or more pad members are configured to be movably disposed in a water outlet chamber of the water outlet device. The one or more pad members at least define a position-providing space, and the one or more pad members comprise a water stopping position and an open position. When in the water stopping position, the one or more pad members elastically hermetically seal and abut an outer peripheral of one or more water outlet ports of the water outlet chamber to achieve water stopping and hermetical sealing, and the one or more pad members are configured to move toward the position-providing space due to increasing of water pressure in the water outlet chamber to terminate the water stopping and the hermetical sealing.
DRAINAGE STRUCTURE AND SIPHONING DRAINAGE SYSTEM
A drainage structure has: a bathtub (first wet area fixture) at which waste water becomes collect-and-flow waste water that is drained after having been collected; a wash place (second wet area fixture) at which waste water becomes continuous waste water that is not collected; a first drainage trap that is provided at a drain of the bathtub; a second drainage trap that is provided at the wash place; a first bypass pipe that connects a drainage pipe (downstream side region) of the first drainage trap and a drainage pipe (downstream side region) of the second drainage trap, at least a portion of the first bypass pipe being positioned higher than both the first drainage trap and the second drainage trap; a first siphoning drainage pipe that is connected to a downstream side of the first drainage trap and to a downstream side of the first bypass pipe; and a second siphoning drainage pipe that is connected to a downstream side of the second drainage trap and to a downstream side of the first bypass pipe.
AIR PRESSURE ATTENUATION DEVICE
A positive air pressure attenuation device (1) comprising:a housing (3) with an inner central portion (6) forming a channel (7); and an elastic flexible inflatable reservoir (8) associated to the inner central portion (6), whereby the inner central portion (6) has a wall portion (60) with a plurality of openings (61) forming passages between the channel (7) and the reservoir chamber (8A).
Faucets providing water-and-air flow
A faucet having a faucet base, a water hose, a faucet head, and a chamber is provided. A water valve is provided in the chamber and includes a driving member and a control valve movable between a first position enabling mixing of water and air and a second position enabling shut-off of a water flow. The faucet head further includes a control member movably coupled with the faucet head to enable operating the control valve within the water valve using magnets by operating the control member from or near a side of the faucet head.
