Building system and panel for a building system
A building system comprising a plurality of tubes, a plurality of connection nodes comprising tubular sections for connection to the tubes, wherein the tubes are arranged to connect between the connection nodes to form a frame for a building, wherein at least one continuous cavity is formed through at least a portion of the nodes and tubes when the nodes and tubes are connected, the building system further comprising fluid tight seals between the tubes and connection nodes to enable fluid to flow through the at least one continuous cavity.
Structural Support System and Methods of Use
The present disclosure describes a base structural building module employing a core structural member having an array of upwardly and outwardly and downwardly and outwardly extending braces or arms extending therefrom. Tubular cans are mounted at the ends of each of the upper and lower arms to receive piles. One upper arm is aligned and paired with one lower arm and the pair's respective cans are aligned about their can axis. The modules employ flexible design by varying the lengths of the arms and their respective inclination or declination angles. Modules can be stacked one on top of another (and secured) to form multi-tiered structural building jackets for building vertical structures such as, for example, oil and gas platforms used onshore or offshore as well as other structures. Each tier can also comprise multiple modules joined laterally together to provide a wide variety of potential template configurations and building applications.
Nodes for Frame Structures
A node for interconnecting frame members of a frame, the node including a single piece node body. A plurality of cup-shaped node connectors are disposed on the node body. Each of the plurality of node connectors include a closed end attached to the node body and an open end opposite the closed end and extending away from the node body. A sidewall extends between and connects the closed end to the open end. A tenon is formed on the open end. The tenon is shaped and sized to fit within a frame member. A transition is formed between the sidewall and the tenon defining a peripheral, radially outwardly facing groove in cooperation with the frame member, the groove shaped and sized to receive a weld.
Welded Fencing System with Prefabricated Connectors
A corner fitting includes a sleeve body having a hollow inner space and configured to coaxially fit over a pipe member of a predetermined size. An edge of the sleeve body at a second distal end has a corner cut portion, a protruding tab, and two recesses, the protruding tab being diametrically opposed to the corner cut portion in the radial direction of the sleeve body, and the recesses being diametrically opposed to each other in the radial direction of the sleeve body. The corner cut portion is configured and shaped such that the sleeve body fits together with an identical sleeve body on the pipe member of the predetermined size with the corner cut portions of the two sleeve bodies contacting each other and with the pipe being nested between the protruding tabs of the second distal ends of the two sleeve bodies.
Rotary joint with actuator, framework construction kit and framework with rotary joints
A rotary joint includes a socket rod having a socket rod flange with a basically spheroid con-cave bearing surface at a first end, a housing nut encircling the socket rod and having a threaded wrenching head, a ball rod having a basically spheroid convex bearing surface and threaded side walls around the convex bearing surface, and a joint actuator configured to actuate relative movement of the socket rod flange and the ball rod. A diameter of the threaded side walls of the ball rod corresponds to a diameter of the threaded wrenching head of the housing nut.
COLLAPSIBLE STRUCTURES AND METHODS FOR ERECTING COLLAPSIBLE STRUCTURES
A structure is able to be collapsed when tension is not applied to a main tension member. As tension is applied to the main tension member, the tension member aligns and brings tension path components together so as to automatically assemble the tension path components and erect the structure.

Connection between lattice tower and nacelle
An apparatus for connecting a lattice tower to the nacelle of a wind turbine. The apparatus has high flexural rigidity and enables direct transition between the nacelle and members of the lattice tower. The apparatus includes two rings joined together with vertical plates extending between them. Upper and lower faces of the apparatus are formed by upper and lower horizontal plates. Central ribs are coupled together and with the vertical plates through a plurality of attachment pieces. The central ribs in part form a large central polygonal hole for accommodating an electrical generator.
