Joist hanger
11193268 · 2021-12-07 · ·

A joist hanger typically includes one or more teeth which can be manually pressed into a header to hold the joist hanger in place on the header to free up a worker's hands so that a worker can nail the joist hanger to the header without having to manually hold the joist hanger in place while driving the nails. The joist hanger may also include a height-setting tab configured to engage the bottom of the header to set the height of the joist hanger relative to the header. The tab may be a break-off tab to allow the joist hanger to be used without the tab if desired.

JOIST RECEIVING METAL FITTING, FLOOR STRUCTURE, AND METHOD FOR BUILDING FLOOR STRUCTURE

A joist receiving metal fitting, a floor structure, and a method for building the floor structure are provided that are configured to prevent contact between the joist and the joist receiving metal fitting even when the joist is fixed to a floor base panel in advance and building is performed. Each of the joist receiving metal fittings includes fixing portions configured to be fixed to a side surface of each of the floor beams and a receiving portion projecting horizontally from the floor beam to receive an end portion of each of the joists. The receiving portion has a bottom plate on which a bottom surface of the joist is to be placed, the pair of side plates rising from both side edges of the bottom plate, and bulging portions that are formed at respective upper ends of the side plates and bulge in directions where they approach each other.

Structural connector for fastening structural components in insulated concrete formwork

The present invention relates to a device and a method associated with the device. With respect to the device, it is a structural connector for fastening structural components in insulated concrete formwork (ICF). The structural connector consists of a double threaded cylinder bolt assembly that aligns through openings in the ICF wall. One end of the cylinder bolt assembly embeds into the cavity of the ICF wall where openings in the cylinder bolt assembly receive concrete and reinforcement bars. The other end of the cylinder bolt assembly is threaded to receive a double threaded washer head bolt. The cylinder bolt assembly is used to mount ledger boards, floor joist hangers and roof truss connectors to the ICF wall, locking them together acting as one unit in withstanding bending and uplift loads imposed by large forces such as floor and roof truss systems.

Height Adjustable Two-Part Hanger With Back Plate
20230265647 · 2023-08-24 ·

A hanger for supporting an elongate beam in a building structure has beam support member with a right side spaced from a left side with a support web extending therebetween at a bottom end. The right side, left side and support web define a beam receipt channel. A beam adjustment member is positioned at least partially within the channel proximate the web and in rotational or pivotal relationship with the beam support member. The beam support member may include a series of vertically spaced apart slots or notches for engagement with one or more notches or slots in a back plate. The back plate is separately attachable to a building support member and the beam support member is attachable to the back plate at multiple different vertical positions.

Temporary pool cover and floor system

The innovation relates to a pool covering system that is usable as a flooring surface. The pool covering system includes brackets that support beams spanning the pool opening. The beams provide structural support to cross members and flooring placed on top of the beams. The pool covering system does not require significant drainage of the pool and does not damage the pool structure during installation and use.

DIAGONAL BEAM JOINING HARDWARE AND BEAM CONNECTING STRUCTURE

Diagonal beam joining hardware according to one or more embodiments includes: a beam splicing part; an extending part protruding from an appropriate intermediate part of the beam splicing part; and a beam receiving hardware mounting part bending and extending from an end edge of the extending part to form a predetermined plane angle with respect to the beam splicing part. The beam splicing part is attached and fastened to a side face of a continued beam by through bolts and penetrating the beam in the beam width direction. Beam receiving hardware is fitted in a slit formed in an end part of the diagonal beam. A contacting part of the beam receiving hardware is superimposed on the beam receiving hardware mounting part of the diagonal beam joining hardware and fastened by bolt/nut fastening.

PREFABRICATED MODULES FOR WOOD FRAME BUILDING CONSTRUCTION
20220136241 · 2022-05-05 ·

Modules providing structural platforms for floors, ceilings, walls, and a roof of a wood frame building are shown and described. Once installed, modules receive suitable finishing materials providing continuous, flat surfaces, with exceptions for penetrations. Each module may include a wood perimeter, upper joist boards or roof rafters, coupled to the wood perimeter at relatively high positions thereon, and lower joist boards or roof rafters coupled to the bounded wood perimeter at relatively low positions thereon. Within each module, each upper joist board or upper roof rafter has a lowermost edge above a level of an uppermost edge of each said lower joist board or lower roof rafter. A gap between the lowermost edge and every lower joist board or roof rafter accommodates ducts, wiring, and plumbing. Each upper joist board or roof rafter is staggered in plan view relative to the lower joist boards or roof rafters.

BEARING CLIP
20220136230 · 2022-05-05 ·

A bearing clip for joining a truss to a bearing material is disclosed. The bearing clip includes a base portion, a vertical portion, and at least one wing. The base portion includes a back end, sides adjacent to the back end and a bottom surface. The vertical portion extends from the back end of the base portion in a first direction away from the bottom surface. The at least one wing extends from a side of the base portion at an obtuse angle and at least partially in the first direction.

Hanger With Removable Leveling Member

An adjustable hanger for attaching an elongate beam to a support member has abase member with opposite sides and a support web. A leveling member with a top panel is attachable to the base member in a vertically reciprocal engagement. The top panel includes a rear flange for supporting on a surface of a support member, whereupon the support web is parallel with the surface of the support member. The leveling member is movable relative to the base member to accommodate elongate beams having different height dimensions. Once the beam is attached to the support member via fasteners, the leveling member may be detached from the base member. The leveling member or base member may have cooperative posts or legs and slots to facilitate engagement between them. A breakable cuff in the base member may engage a post of the leveling member to allow reciprocation followed by detachment.
