A corner piece for mounting two profiles at an angle, the corner piece comprising at least a first and a second leg mounted mounted together at an angle to each other, wherein the first leg is arranged to be slid into a mounting channel of a first profile along the first direction and the second leg is arranged to be slid into a mounting channel of a second profile along the second direction, characterized in that at least the first leg comprises at least one protrusion extending along a height direction of the mounting channel, so that when sliding the first leg into the mounting channel of the first profile, the protrusion clamps the first leg into a predetermined position in the mounting channel of the first profile.
Corner Assembly for a Portable Shelter
A corner assembly for a portable shelter is disclosed herein. The corner assembly includes a corner connecting member configured to couple a support post member to one or more roof frame members of a portable shelter; and a corner trim member configured to be coupled to the corner connecting member, the corner trim member configured to be secured to the corner connecting member by a user disposed in the interior of the portable shelter. In one or more embodiments, the corner assembly further includes a support post member, the support post member configured to support a roof frame structure of a portable shelter. The corner connecting member may include a downwardly extending flange configured to extend along an interior surface of the support post member. The corner trim member may be configured to be coupled to the downwardly extending flange of the corner connecting member.
CENTRAL CORE FOR A BUILDING
A prefabricated core for a building with all services already built in. The core serves as: 1. the housing for all the home's mechanical, plumbing and electrical sources, and 2. a major structural support, providing three shear walls to the structure. This invention allows access to all of the services thus allowing for ease of maintenance and avoidance of collateral damage during renovations and remodeling.
STORAGE SYSTEM
A storage system includes a storage grid structure and multiple remotely operated storage bin handling vehicles. The storage grid structure includes vertical storage column profiles defining multiple storage columns in which storage bins can be stored one on top of another in vertical stacks. Each of the storage column profiles have an upper end and a lower end and the storage column profiles are interconnected at their upper ends by rails forming a horizontal rail grid upon which the bin handling vehicles may move in two perpendicular directions. The storage grid structure features grid supports include multiple base angle brackets. Each base angle bracket includes a vertical flange and a horizontal flange. The vertical flange is connected to a storage column profile. The horizontal flange is connected by bolts to a floor upon which the storage grid is arranged and a web interconnecting the flanges. Each of the flanges has a first end and a second end. The first end is arranged closer than the second end to the lower end of the storage column profile to which the vertical flange is connected. The web has a recess arranged between the first ends of the flanges.
METHOD AND MODULE SYSTEM FOR BUILDING A WALL STRUCTURE
A method and a module system for building purposes by using a module system is provided, said module system including a plurality of mutually equal-sized basic components, which are assembled for a wall structure in one or more vertical planes by installing the same in connection with each other side by side and on top of each other. The wall structure is put together from substantially thin-walled basic components, which are open at ends thereof opposite in a lengthwise direction thereof and have an open internal space, and which are coupled to each other side by side and on top of each other with connection pieces capable of being connected with a first form locking joint to lengthwise coupling arrangements present on each external side thereof. The basic components are coupled to each other with an end block interconnecting the basic components by the opposite ends thereof.
Insulated metal panel and curtain wall systems
Wall systems and buildings having such wall systems are disclosed. Such wall systems include parametric mullions each of which is constructed from a plurality of interconnecting components so that the wall systems may be disposed much closer to the building frame than conventional wall systems. Such wall systems may include panels disposed to form convex or concave facades. Such wall systems may also include decorative features superimposed over one or more panels or extending outward from the facade surface. The parametric mullions may be formed into trusses which may be used as part of a wall system or independently of such wall systems.
Reversible self-locking interconnection system for modular integrated construction
A self-locking connection system for modular construction (e.g., MiC and PPVC) is provided for interlocking an upper module column to a lower module column. A horizontal load transfer plate has first and second inner sleeve portions positioned beneath and above the plate. The sleeves are configured and dimensioned to be received within the respective module columns. Spring-loaded latches in both sleeve portions engage respective column receiving apertures. Each latch may include a latch plate having a wedge-shaped latch protrusion connecting to a vertical latch surface. The latch plate has one or more latch plate apertures for receiving a rod within a coil spring. An optional second reversible self-locking mechanism interlocks the connected modules to a building load-bearing support such as a core wall. The second self-locking mechanism includes an angled protrusion extending from the horizontal load transfer plate to mate with a protrusion-receiving structure embedded in the load-bearing support.
Construction system for a building module
The present invention concerns a construction system for a building module, whose main elements are made of plastic material, providing a robust construction in an easy and quick manner. The system includes a set of main beams (1) adapted to be assembled end-to-end to form an open structure in the shape of a 3-dimensional rectangular frame. The system further includes secondary beams (11), adapted to be assembled between parallel and opposite main beams, and flat facade elements (3) insertable against each other between two adjacent parallel beams. Each facade element (3) includes a rectangular flat plate provided with two folded opposite edges (3A) intended to be hooked with adjacent parallel beams. Each main beam has a rectangular cross-section including, on the four sides thereof, a projection (21) parallel to the side and spaced therefrom leaving an opening to receive a folded edge of a flat facade element. Each secondary beam (11) includes, on two opposite faces, at least one projection leaving an opening to receive a folded edge of a flat facade element (3).
Mounting Clamp
A mounting clamp for coupling a mechanical component to a mounting bracket. The mounting clamp can include a set of clamp sections, including a first clamp section and a second clamp section, hingedly coupled and movable between an open configuration and a closed configuration. The first clamp section can have a first set of clasps and a first arcuate portion extending from a first base. The second clamp section can have a second set of clasps and a second arcuate portion extending from a second base. In the closed configuration the first and second sets of clasps extend in a first direction and define an attachment portion for attaching the mounting clamp to the mounting bracket and the first and second arcuate portions extend in a second direction, different from the first direction and define a retention portion for retaining the mechanical component therein.
