Gutter flashing
An improved gutter flashing is disclosed. The gutter flashing can be installed on a preexisting fascia board of a building, and is compatible with the installation gutter hangers, leaf protection devices, and pre-existing drip edges or gutter flashing. The gutter flashing can be installed without placing additional holes for screws, nails or other securing devices other than the attaching devices that attach the gutter to the fascia board. The gutter flashing comprises a lower spacer portion, a substantially vertical arm with a substantially u-shaped spacing portion to receive the lower angled leg of the preexisting drip edge. Diverter arm rests on top of the roof portion of the preexisting drip edge and extends into approximately the midline of the gutter to divert water away from the structure and into the gutter.
Fascia saver device and system
A facia saving gutter system comprising a gutter attached to a building, a fastener passing through the gutter and into the building, a ferule around the fastener and a fascia saver around the ferrule and contacting the back wall of the gutter to prevent water from seeping down the ferule, through a fastener hole in the back wall of the gutter and into a gap between the gutter and the building. The fascia saver has a truncated cone body of elastic material with a center cavity through the truncated cone body along a longitudinal axis of the truncated cone body, the truncated cone body with a longitudinal slit through the truncated cone body.
Raised arc rain gutter debris preclusion device
A gutter debris preclusion device for use with a gutter attached to a building, comprising a support structure being substantially rigid and having a recess with a plurality of apertures and a plurality of ribs; a screen having a plurality of apertures and being at least partially disposed on the ribs of the support structure; and, wherein a cross-sectional profile of the screen has an arc shape.
Method for strategically marking a gutter
A gutter piece and a method of forming the gutter piece including the steps of: obtaining a gutter forming apparatus with a marking subassembly; obtaining a supply of gutter material; through the gutter forming apparatus, progressively forming the gutter material into completed gutter pieces, each with a length, as the gutter material is advanced in a forming path; and through the subassembly, continuously making discrete visible marks on the gutter material as the gutter material is advanced that: a) reside at predetermined intervals along a length of each of the completed gutter pieces, and b) are located to facilitate controlled interval placement of hangers that are used to support the completed gutter pieces in an operative position on a structure.
EAVESTROUGH DEBRIS GUARD
A debris guard for installation on an eavestrough is disclosed. The debris guard including a frame with a back side, a front side, a length and two ends. The frame having a water collection portion between the front side and the back side that extends along the length of the frame, the water collection portion having a plurality of holes to allow rainwater to pass through. The frame having a connector engagement structure that extends outward from a surface of the water collection portion, the connector engagement structure being shaped and/or sized to attach with a connector for joining pieces or lengths of the frame together.
Rain Gutter Cover Assembly
A gutter cover for a rain gutter includes a U-shaped rear portion, a forward edge portion, and a perforated horizontal central portion spanning between the rear and forward edge portions. The forward edge portion includes a web extending upwardly from the central portion, and a covering flange and downward hooked edge portion extending forwardly from the web. The hooked edge portion having an end positioned for engagement with the underside of a front lip of the gutter.
Leaf gutter guard
The present disclosure relates to gutter systems and gutter covers that prevent preventing debris from falling into and clogging a gutter. The gutter cover includes a longitudinally extending body having a front end and a rear end, a generally planar front portion and a generally planar rear portion. The gutter cover also includes a middle portion disposed between the front portion and the rear portion, the middle portion including a longitudinally extending first ridge. The first ridge is contoured to avoid contact with a mounting bracket of the gutter system.
Gutter cover and bracket system and method of installation
A gutter cover system including a mounting bracket, gutter clip, and a cover piece. The mounting bracket attaches into the internal space within the gutter and is attached to a structural portion of the building to which the gutter is attached. The clip helps secure the bracket within the lip of the gutter. The bracket includes a structural tower for supporting the upper portion of the cover and a receiver platform for receiving a lower portion of the cover. The cover is non-uniform and includes several structural ridges to provide structural integrity.
Agent Dispersing Method
The method includes dispersing copper or other material ions through the water receiving area of a gutter guard for the prevention of moss or mold growth. The method includes the utilization of thread(s) sewn into or embroidered onto or otherwised affixed to or immediately preceding the water receiving areas of a gutter guard, such thread(s) being comprised of moss killing materials. The thread(s) comprise only a portion of the water receiving area, so if corrosive elements form and wash over the water receiving area, they will be in sufficient amounts to kill moss but not in so great an amount as to clog any water receiving apertures. The method includes the utilization of staples or other objects comprised of copper or other moss killing materials fastened to or adhered or welded to the body or water receiving areas of a gutter guard or areas immediately preceding such.
