A masonry veneer wall cladding system may include a first layer of a ceramic based veneer, such as formed steel calcium silicate, and a second layer that is formed of a rigid thermal insulation panel such as an expanded foam. The two layers are bonded together with an air gap between the layers. The panels are mounted to supporting wall structure with wall support mounting fittings, or cleats. The fittings have a first leg and a second leg, and a web connecting the two legs. The first leg has slots for mechanical fasteners. The slots permit the fitting to slide, so a panel can be put in place, and then the fitting, or cleat can slide down to trap the panel in place. The panel has accommodations for the engaging fingers of the cleat. In one embodiment, the air gap can define the accommodation.

CONCRETE BUILDING CLADDING ELEMENTS WITH INTEGRATED ANCHORS
20200385997 · 2020-12-10 ·

The present invention pertains to integrated machine for manufacturing anchor embedded cladding elements. Essentially, this machine comprises a cladding block manufacturing machine and anchor feeding and embedding machine, where the concrete block manufacturing machine and anchor feeding and embedding machine are configured for coordinated operation for producing anchors embedded cladding elements comprising concrete blocks and anchors embedded within said blocks. The flexibility and versatility of the machine is in determining the end location of the anchors in the final cladding elements before even manufacturing the cladding blocks. This provides greater degree of freedom, which in turn allows increasing the strength in fixing the cladding elements to a support wall on the one hand, and decreasing onsite or prefabrication workload and difficulties in the cladding process.

Artificial stone tile comprising natural rock and method for manufacturing the same
10787820 · 2020-09-29 ·

The present invention relates to an artificial stone tile comprising natural rock and a method for manufacturing the same. According to the present invention, the artificial stone tile may be manufactured by finely crushing natural rock, which is inexpensive to marble or granite, mixing the powder with an adhesive for increasing cohesion, heat resistance, durability and strength, forming the mixture into a tile shape under high pressure, and subjecting the formed tile to first calculation at high temperature, quenching at cold temperature, and second calcination at low temperature. The artificial stone tile may reproduce the same texture as natural stone, has better abrasion resistance and strength, is environmentally friendly without using synthetic resin, and may be supplied at low prices.

Textured cladding element with integrated drip edge

A textured cladding element can be manufactured to approximate the aesthetic and functional properties or natural wood siding and/or shingles. The cladding element can comprise non-wood material, such as fiber cement. The cladding element can include a step and a recessed portion or cove which enables the element to have a relatively low thickness while also achieving a desirable drip edge and/or shadow line when multiple cladding elements are overlapping when installed in a finished product.
