PATTERN FORMING METHOD FOR QUARTZ SURFACE AND PATTERN FORMING DEVICE FOR QUARTZ SURFACE

The present application relates to a pattern forming method for quartz surface and a pattern forming device for quartz surface. According to the pattern forming method for quartz surface of the present application, by comprising a step of forming a pattern and a step of forming a color, it is possible to freely express the color on the pattern simultaneously along with forming the pattern on the quartz surface. And, in addition to these steps, by optionally comprising a step of additionally forming a pattern, it is possible to freely form a desired pattern on the quartz surface, and, by adding long line type patterns on the quartz surface unlike existing conventional quartz surfaces, it is possible to produce the quartz surface showing patterns and textures which are more natural and close to natural stone.

Building material cladding components and methods

A starter board for a wall cladding system includes a core member and a laminate. The core member defines a board profile portion including parallel, planar base and outer surfaces defining a uniform thickness, the base surface extending from a first lateral surface to a second lateral surface, and a supporting flange portion extending outward from the planar outer surface, at the second lateral surface, to an outer surface of the flange portion. The laminate includes a reinforcing mesh and a basecoat layer covering the reinforcing mesh, and covers the second lateral surface of the board profile portion, the inner and outer lateral surfaces of the supporting flange portion, the outer surface of the supporting flange portion, and portions of the base and outer surfaces of the board profile portion proximate the supporting flange portion.

Covering panel with simulated building elements

A covering panel securable to a bearing substrate and having a fastener strip with a plurality of fastener apertures spaced apart along a longitudinal axis of the covering panel. The covering panel comprises a plurality of hammer stops extending forwardly from a section of the fastener strip including the fastener apertures. Each one of the hammer stops is associated to a corresponding one of the fastener apertures and comprises at least one elevated hammer head stop surface protruding from the fastener strip and elevated therefrom and a hammer head alignment guide abutable with a section of a hammer head to position the hammer head in a predetermined configuration with respect to the corresponding one of the fastener apertures. The at least one elevated hammer head stop surface is configured to abut with the hammer head at a distance from the section of the fastener strip including the fastener apertures.

Method for creating simulated tile wall

A method of manufacturing a tile sheet for a shower wall or bath enclosure in which a user designs a tile pattern which is stored in a database. An acrylic sheet is placed on a frame and clamped in place. A computer controlled router cuts grout lines in the acrylic sheet which simulates a tile pattern. The finished sheet having the tile pattern is cut and installed on a shower wall. Other designs can be stored in the computer and used to create different tile patterns using the same computer controlled router.

Self adherent foam based mosaic tile

A mosaic tile member has a backing layer with a top adhesive surface for adhering at least two sets of individual tiles onto the backing layer in spaced relationship to permit grouting between the individual tiles. Each set of individual tiles has a foam base layer that is approximately 67 to 80 percent of the overall thickness of the mosaic tile. A design layer and a transparent protective wear layer cover the foam base layer. The design for one set of individual tiles can differ from the design for the other set of individual tiles. An adhesive is provided on the bottom of the backing layer to enable the mosaic tile to self-adhere to a wall, ceiling and floor surface. Individual tiles in the mosaic tile can be punched out or cut from a blank laminate of the foam base layer, the design layer and the protective wear layer.

WALL PANEL

The invention is related to a method of manufacturing a wall panel and a wall panel system. The method includes: forming a glass-fiber reinforced rigid magnesium oxide layer including the steps of: pouring or injecting a slurry of uncured magnesium oxide into a mold, embedding glass fiber reinforcing material therein, and curing the magnesium oxide to obtain the glass-fiber reinforced rigid magnesium oxide layer having a first side and a second side; applying, to the second side of the rigid magnesium oxide layer, an insulation layer, the insulation layer comprising a foam; and optionally applying to the first side of the rigid layer a veneer layer.

WALL PANEL

A wall panel may have a layer made from magnesium oxide, a first insulation layer made from a two-part rigid urethane pour foam, and a second insulation layer made from a phase change material. The first insulation layer maybe chemically bonded to the magnesium oxide layer and may also be bonded to the phase change layer. The first insulation layer may be positioned between the second insulation layer and the magnesium oxide layer. The magnesium oxide layer may be a finished surface or a veneer layer may be applied to the magnesium oxide layer.
