Chip for transdermal emission or augmentation of energy
A hologram chip may be programmed to emit and/or augment energy tuned to interact with bodily functions through transdermal contact. The chip may be programmed by using a pair of Tesla pancake coils, each coupled to a spherical electrode and driven to create an energetic field between the electrodes. Embodiments may include systems that include the programmed hologram chip in a fabric body. The systems may be wearable so that the effects of the programmed chip may be applied to selected areas of the human body. Some embodiments may be useful for augmenting healing of ailments.
METHOD OF VIRTUAL REALITY SYSTEM AND IMPLEMENTING SUCH METHOD
Virtual reality method intended to be implemented in a virtual reality system, the method including the production of a stimulus in the system during a period of stimulation, the stimulus including: a projection of an image sequence; a production of a first sound signal including a soundtrack linked to the progress of the image sequence; a production of a second sound signal having a first frequency and a third sound signal having a second frequency, the second sound signal being audible from one ear and the third sound signal being audible from the other ear of the user; a production of a fourth sound signal including a spoken presentation; during an initial portion of said predetermined period, the stimulus further including an induction signal; and during a final portion of said predetermined period, the intensity of the sound signals decreasing in intensity until a zero intensity, and the image sequence decreasing in intensity until a zero intensity.
Treatment of phantom limb syndrome and other sequelae of physical injury
Methods, systems and devices that provide a therapeutic solution to alleviate the pain and discomfort of phantom limb syndrome are disclosed. The methods and systems of the present invention generally comprise capturing data from recording devices operably coupled to a processor and/or computing device, the recording devices configured to capture data associated with intact portions of a missing limb, one or more intact limbs and/or portions of the environment surrounding the missing limb, identifying the data captured, generating a three-dimensional virtual image of the missing limb and the surrounding environment from the data captured, and displaying the three-dimensional virtual image and the portions of the surrounding environment to the amputee such that the missing limb appears intact. The present invention advantageously provides a therapeutic and more immediate solution to alleviate the pain and discomfort from phantom limb syndrome.
Pattern interference radiation force (PIRF) neural stimulators
Improved acoustic neurostimulation is provided by having two or more acoustic transducers generate an acoustic interference pattern in a region of a patient being treated. The apparatus has at least two operating modes it can switch between. A first operating mode has the transducers driven at the same frequency. A second operating mode has the transducers driven at different frequencies. Full control of the acoustic transducers allows the acoustic interference pattern to be varied electronically at will.
INTELLIGENT RESPIRATORY ENTRAINMENT
An intelligent entrainment program can make use of received biometric sensor data to provide hyper-personalized guidance to entrain a user's respiration pattern towards a target respiration pattern. The entrainment program can be used for sleep-related therapy, such as to facilitate falling asleep, staying asleep, and/or waking up. Respiration information (e.g., respiration rate, time between breaths, maximal inspiration information, maximal expiration information, respiration rate variability, respiration morphology information, and the like) can be extracted from the biometric sensor data and used to establish a target respiration pattern. An entrainment signal can be determined from the target respiration pattern and then used to present an entrainment stimulus (e.g., via audio, visual, tactile, or other stimuli) to the user.

Systems, methods and articles for enhancing wellness associated with habitable environments
Environmental characteristics of habitable environments (e.g., hotel or motel rooms, spas, resorts, cruise boat cabins, offices, hospitals and/or homes, apartments or residences) are controlled to eliminate, reduce or ameliorate adverse or harmful aspects and introduce, increase or enhance beneficial aspects in order to improve a wellness or sense of wellbeing provided via the environments. Control of intensity and wavelength distribution of passive and active Illumination addresses various issues, symptoms or syndromes, for instance to maintain a circadian rhythm or cycle, adjust for jet lag or season affective disorder, etc. Air quality and attributes are controlled. Scent(s) may be dispersed. Hypoallergenic items (e.g., bedding, linens) may be used. Water quality is controlled. Noise is reduced and sounds (e.g., masking, music, natural) may be provided. Passive and active pathogen controls are employed. Controls are provided for the occupant and/or facility personnel, as is instruction, and surveys, including assessing wellness.

A system is provided for assisting the development of an adult-child attachment relationship. One or more child physiological or behavioral signals are sensed for the adult and the child. An adult-child activity is chosen by the system and an association between the adult and child signals is analyzed so as to estimate a level of synchrony between the adult and child associated with the selected adult-child activity. An output is generated which depends on the level of synchrony.
Adjuvant method for the interface of psychosomatic approaches and technology for improving medical outcomes
A method to induce an immediate psychosomatic change in a patient optimal for a particular medical procedure, is provided. The method uses a brain-computer interface integrating a loop of biofeedback and neurofeedback components, interactive, immersive, 3D virtual reality (VR) modules utilizing hypnotic or guided-response, learning, placebo and experience-ratification principles. The method will differentiate between low and high hypnotizable patients as well their specific abilities and limitations by their distinct brain patterns and will deliver VR output content appropriate for the current and targeted psychosomatic state of the patient, needs, and stage of a particular medical procedure thus being applicable to any medical patient regardless of abilities. The device will continuously measure the patient's physiological markers and will customize the intensity, order, timing, and content of the output dose. The method is designed to be quickly implemented, entertaining and minimally obtrusive to distressed medical patients and medical settings.
