Safety fence assembly
A modular safety fence assembly is disclosed. The safety fence may include a fence panel assembly having a top rail, a bottom rail, and mesh panel. The safety fence panel assembly may also support post assembly capable of supporting the fence panel assembly and an anchor assembly which may anchor the support post assembly to the floor using one or more relatively shallow holes formed in the floor.
Fall protection system
A fall protection system includes a substantially vertical guardrail post defining a first post side and a second post side; a lateral safety guardrail extending substantially horizontally from the guardrail post; and a pillar attachment assembly comprising a pillar attachment device and a flexible pillar attachment strap, the pillar attachment device mounted to the first post side of the guardrail post, and the flexible pillar attachment strap extending substantially horizontally from the pillar attachment device and configured to wrap around a structural component, wherein a free end of the pillar attachment strap opposite the pillar attachment device is releasably secured to the guardrail post.
Telescopic edge protection post
A telescopic edge protection post arrangeable between a floor and a ceiling, wherein the telescopic edge protection post comprises an outer tube having a floor end and a top end, and an inner tube having a bottom end and a ceiling end. The inner tube extends into the outer tube and is movable with respect thereto between an extended position and a collapsed position. The post further has a locking mechanism arranged to lock the inner tube with respect to the outer tube, and a tensioning device. The locking mechanism comprises a fixed element, which is attached to the outer tube at its top end, and a movable element, which is movable with respect to the fixed element between a locking position in which the movable element engages with the inner tube and the fixed element to prevent the inner tube from being retracted into the outer tube.
Support device
A support device with at least first and second support members movable with respect to each other in a direction parallel to their longitudinal axes. The support device having distal ends and the distal ends each including an anchor portion to engage directly or indirectly with a suitable surface in use, the support device including a biasing assembly for biasing one or more of the distal ends of the support device into engagement with a suitable surface in use, and the biasing assembly is located at or adjacent an end of at least one of said first and second support members and between said support member end and the anchor portion nearest to said support member end. The support device is particularly suited to a safety fence or assembly or a worker protection system.
A SAFETY GATE
A foldable safety gate apparatus for use in relation to a hoist or lift, comprising: a main safety gate body, said main safety gate body comprising: a gate frame forming an opening; and a gate, wherein the gate frame holds said gate within the opening for preventing entry into a hoist car; a cantilever platform, said cantilever platform comprising: a supporting arm for securing to a slab; and two or more load points or securing the cantilever platform to the slab; wherein, when in a deployed state, the main safety gate body is substantially perpendicular to the cantilever platform, and, when in a collapsed state, the main safety gate body rests substantially parallel to the cantilever platform.
EXTENDABLE CONSTRUCTION STANCHION
Certain embodiments of the invention surround a reusable construction guardrail or stanchion. In certain embodiments, the reusable construction guardrail has features that aid in easier and faster assembly and disassembly. In certain embodiments of the invention, the construction guardrail is transportable, having telescoping features and folding features to allow greater ease in packing and transporting. Certain embodiments of the invention include a reusable construction guardrail having a uniform construction.
Interlocking panels
The disclosed interlocking panel systems are portable, self-supporting, and modular. They may function as guards around the sides, rear, and a surface of a workspace and can be disassembled by one person and transported to a sink for cleaning or another location for use or storage. They may also function as structural panels for constructing an enclosure, such as a building.
Apparatus and method for a balcony access status alert system
An automatic alert system pertaining to a gate that is releasably secured across an ingress/egress to a balcony or other elevated platform. The gate has a pair of vertical posts that are releasably secured within respective boots secured to the floor. One of the boots includes a switch-activated transmitter that is activated when its respective post is removed from the boot. Another switch-activated transmitter is activated whenever the gate is opened. If the post is pulled out of the boot, or the gate is opened, the switch-activated transmitters transmit a wireless signal to a transceiver located on the gate which then transmits a signal to an on-site controller that transmits respective text messages to authorized personnel informing them of the gate removal/opening and will continue to do so until the gate status changes. The transceiver may be housed within a housing that also contains a visual and/or audible warning at the gate vicinity to warn those in the vicinity of the gate removal or opening.
Anti-fall safeguard with supporting base
An anti-fall safeguard for persons includes a supporting base with which the anti-fall safeguard can be set up on an underlying surface formed of individual concrete slabs. The concrete slabs are provided with upwardly projecting iron reinforcing elements and with an anchor mast system which is connected to the supporting base. Personal protective equipment is fastened to the free, upper end of the anchor mast system. In order to securely fasten the anti-fall safeguard on an underlying surface, two or more cable safeguards are provided, which can be brought into connection with the iron reinforcing elements of the concrete slabs. The cable safeguards can be tensioned and the supporting base is immovably secured on the underlying surface by the tensioning of the cable safeguards.
