SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ATTACHING FABRIC PANELS TO STRUCTURES
A fabric panel attaching system and methods of assembly and use are presented for attaching fabric panels to structural elements, such as building frames. In various embodiments, the fabric panel attachment system includes a keder rail fastened to support bar, which is attached to a structural profile, such as a building frame member. In some embodiments, the keder rail is fastened to a support bar with bolt and nut. One or more fabric panels are installed within channels of the keder rail. An alignment element may be used with a fastener to assist in aligning abutting sections of keder rail. In various embodiments, the fabric panel attachment system is secured to flat or curvilinear faces of the structural elements. In some embodiments, the fabric panel attachment system may secure directly to the structural element and not a support bar.
Retractable canopy
Aspects of the present disclosure provide retractable canopies, kits of parts for assembling retractable canopies, and methods for assembling and operating retractable canopies. The retractable canopies provide tracks extending in a longitudinal direction and transversely spaced apart. A support extends in a transverse direction between the tracks and is moveably coupled to the tracks via mounts to the tracks. The mounts include engagement members, such as wheels, to engage with the tracks. The engagement members may be biased transversely away from the support (e.g. toward the track), thereby permitting the engagement members to adjust their transverse positions relative to the support as the support moves along the track.
CLEARSPAN FABRIC STRUCTURE
A clearspan structure including component systems, and methods of forming a clearspan structure including component systems, for mitigating hazards to personnel or equipment from explosions, fires, toxic material release, and other hazards in hazardous locations. The exemplary clearspan structure is also capable of withstanding environmental conditions such as snow loads and wind. The exemplary clearspan structure is, for example, a tent or fabric structure which includes a plurality of frame members forming a support system for the clearspan structure, and fabric roof portions and walls for enclosing the clearspan structure.
Bungee ball device and method of use
A bungee ball device includes a ball and a cord loop having a pair of cord segments. The ball has a flat part on it where the cord loop segments extend therefrom. The cord segment has at least one flat surface that engages the flat part of the ball when the bungee ball device is in use. The cord can include a tab extending from a portion thereof. The tab makes it easier to grasp the cord and stretch it to allow the ball to be removed from the space created by the cord segments and release the bungee ball device from its secured position. The ball and cord loop have a one-piece molded construction. The flat part on the ball and flat surface on the cord segment can be optional.
Clamp for temporary structure sheeting and related methods
A sheeting clamp for a temporary structure includes a first clamping plate and a second clamping plate. The first clamping plate has a first channel parallel and a second channel. The second channel has a plurality of openings therein. The first plate also includes a first plurality of apertures proximal to the first channel and a second plurality of apertures proximal to the second channel. The second clamping plate has a first channel corresponding to the first channel of the first clamping plate, and a first plurality of apertures corresponding to the first plurality of apertures of the first clamping plate. At least one securing structure secures the first clamping plate and second clamping plate around a tubular structure around which a sheet is wrapped.
Vehicle tent
Disclosed herein are embodiments of a roof top tent system, that can include a lower frame portion coupleable with a bed of a truck, an upper frame portion coupleable with the lower frame portion, a platform assembly coupleable with the upper frame portion of the frame assembly, including an upper platform portion, a lower platform portion coupleable with the upper frame portion of the frame assembly along a first end portion of the lower and upper platform portions, and a platform hinge configured to hingedly couple the lower platform portion with the upper platform portion so that the upper platform portion can rotate between a first position in which the upper platform portion is substantially parallel to and adjacent to the lower platform portion and a second position in which the upper platform portion extends at an angle away from the lower platform portion.
Locking seal device
A locking device for a covering member to provide sealing in storage, cargo, and other personal applications is disclosed. The locking device comprises a pipe member having predetermined length is configured to have a transverse opening. The covering member is slidably attached to a bead insert positioned inside the pipe member via the transverse opening, wherein the covering member is configured to securely wrap the contents of a storage space. The locking device is configured to enable a climate controlled environment for the wrapped contents of the storage space. A locking assembly and method of using the same is also disclosed.
Device for attaching flexible fabrics for indoor and outdoor use in architecture
A device for attaching flexible, flat fabrics includes at least one keder rail having a keder channel in which a keder core attached to the fabric is inserted. The device includes at least one receiving profile in or on which the at least one keder rail is arranged relocatable at an adjustable height.
Keder rail attachment for a fabric/panel building
An keder rail and clamping anchor secure keder fabric to a building support beam. In one embodiment, the clamping anchor clamps about the support beam. In a second embodiment, the anchor passes through the support beam and compresses a pair of laterally extending keder rail feet against the support beam. A temporary keder rail anchor has a transitional member, support beam engagement, and keder rail engagement that displace and hold the second embodiment keder rail to an offset position relative to support beam prior to and during installation of keder fabric within the keder rail. A method of tensioning keder fabric uses this holder to secure the keder rail adjacent an edge of the structural beam while keder fabric is inserted. The holder is released and the keder rail is centered on the beam to tension the keder fabric, and the keder rail is secured to the structural beam.
