System for adjusting tension on fabric panels between structural members
A system for adjusting tension on fabric panels between two structural members of a fabric panel structure is disclosed. The system includes a rib that extends outwards from the structural members, a first keder rail located adjacent to the rib, a second keder rail located opposite to the rib of the first keder rail, and a fastener that passes through apertures in the first keder rail, the rib, and second keder rail to secure the keder rails against the rib. Preferably, the fastener is adjustable to allow the keder rails to be opened and closed to assist with installing or replacing fabric panels. Alternate embodiments can secure one of the keder rails directly to the structural member without the use of the rib.
HEAT-INSULATING AIR DOME
The air dome includes of one or several membrane shells made from textile-reinforced plastic film. These membrane shells are equipped on the entire surface of its underside with juxtaposed flat pockets which are heat-sealed on, bonded to, sewn on, or riveted on, each of which is designed to be open on one side, for inserting a multi-ply heat-reflective mat. Such mats are hybrid insulating mats having infrared-reflective metallized film or aluminum foils. Said mats can have multiple layers of absorption-reducing air bubble film to reduce the transmission heat losses. The openings of the pockets can be closed by means of a Velcro closure or zip fastener. A membrane is assembled from strip-shaped film webs, which are equipped along their longitudinal sides with a keder, and are connected with each other by connecting profiles in a force-locked manner.
AIR-SUPPORTED HALL WITH A WINDOW
The air dome includes one or several membrane shells made from plastic film material. It has on at least one longitudinal or transverse side a frame construction which is connected to the bordering membrane material, and in the frame profile at least one transparent film is incorporated, for forming a window front. The air dome includes one or several membrane shells made of plastic film. The membranes are formed as double-ply membranes with an outer and inner membrane and divided into strips. The strips can be connected along their longitudinal edges by means of a keder having a keder connection profile in a force-locked manner. Surface heat-reflective mats can have multiple layers of absorption-reducing air bubble film to reduce the transmission heat losses. The construction of such a constructed air dome can be handled by two people as well as the dismantling and the transporting and interim storage.
Walls to top closure system for tents
A connecting member acts as a seam connecting the side panels and the top panels of a tent. The tent side panels define a keder for engagement with a first channel of the connecting member. The top panels also define a keder for engagement with a second channel of the connecting member. The user inserts an end of the side keder into the corresponding first channel of the connecting member. Once the end of the side keder is engaged by the connecting member, the connecting member is horizontally pushed toward the opposite end of the side panel until the connecting member reaches the opposite end of the side panel. The user then inserts an end of the top keder into the corresponding second channel of the connecting member. The second channel of the connecting member (along with the side wall) is horizontally pushed along the top keder until the channel is in receipt of the entire length of the top keder.
VEHICLE TENT
Disclosed herein are embodiments of a roof top tent system, that can include a lower frame portion coupleable with a bed of a truck, an upper frame portion coupleable with the lower frame portion, a platform assembly coupleable with the upper frame portion of the frame assembly, including an upper platform portion, a lower platform portion coupleable with the upper frame portion of the frame assembly along a first end portion of the lower and upper platform portions, and a platform hinge configured to hingedly couple the lower platform portion with the upper platform portion so that the upper platform portion can rotate between a first position in which the upper platform portion is substantially parallel to and adjacent to the lower platform portion and a second position in which the upper platform portion extends at an angle away from the lower platform portion.
CLEARSPAN FABRIC STRUCTURE
A clearspan structure including component systems, and methods of forming a clearspan structure including component systems, for mitigating hazards to personnel or equipment from explosions, fires, toxic material release, and other hazards in hazardous locations. The exemplary clearspan structure is also capable of withstanding environmental conditions such as snow loads and wind. The exemplary clearspan structure is, for example, a tent or fabric structure which includes a plurality of frame members forming a support system for the clearspan structure, and fabric roof portions and walls for enclosing the clearspan structure.
BUNGEE BALL DEVICE AND METHOD OF USE
A bungee ball device includes a ball and a cord loop having a pair of cord segments. The ball has a flat part on it where the cord loop segments extend therefrom. The cord segment has at least one flat surface that engages the flat part of the ball when the bungee ball device is in use. The cord can include a tab extending from a portion thereof. The tab makes it easier to grasp the cord and stretch it to allow the ball to be removed from the space created by the cord segments and release the bungee ball device from its secured position. The ball and cord loop have a one-piece molded construction. The flat part on the ball and flat surface on the cord segment can be optional.
Adaptable tent system with interconnecting member
An adaptable tent system is described. The adaptable tent system may include a base system having a rigid surface defining a perimeter edge and a canopy including a flexible membrane with a membrane edge and a canopy fastener, the canopy fastener extending along and fixably attached to the membrane edge, the canopy fastener adapted to mate with an interconnecting member fastener. The tent system may also include an interconnecting member including an interconnecting member body, an attachment member, and the interconnecting member fastener. The attachment member may be attached to the base member, so that the interconnecting member and base member are fixably attached together. The interconnecting member fastener may be configured to mate with any one of a plurality of different canopy fasteners so that when the canopy fastener and the interconnecting member fastener are mated, the interconnecting member and the canopy are connected.
