TEMPORARY SAFETY RAILING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A temporary upright post includes rail supports for holding temporary lateral guardrails and a mounting system for mounting to a permanent upright stanchion of a permanent railing system for an elevated surface. The mounting system includes a longitudinal bore in the lower portion of the upright post that removably receives the stanchion with a loose fit, and the mechanical securement tightens the post to the stanchion to secure them together for use and loosens to release the post for installation and removal. Example embodiments also include a support bearing that is repositionable to contact and support the post in an elevated position on the stanchion, up and away from the elevated surface, or to disengage from mechanical interference with the stanchion so the post can be lowered to the use position.
Fence rail device
A fence rail device includes a rail elongated between a first end and a second end. The rail has an outer wall having a top section, a pair of side sections, and a bottom section defining a hollow interior. The slot extends through the bottom section. A plurality of cross walls includes a top cross wall, a middle cross wall, and a bottom cross wall defining a top interior space, a bottom interior space, an upper middle interior space, and a lower middle interior space within the rail. Each of a pair of lower interior walls extends between the bottom section and the bottom cross wall proximate to a respective one of the side sections. Each of a pair of medial interior walls extends between the bottom cross wall and the lower middle cross wall.
Fence Rail Fork
A vinyl fence rail remover for use where the rail is held in the fence post via tabs cut into the rail and rail tabs must be depressed to remove the rail from the hole cut into the fence post. The fence remover has a handle/tube on a first end, a metal “U” shape section, a straight section, and a tapered second, opposing end from the handle/tube. The handle/tube is as long as necessary to reach the bottom rail through the inside of the fence post. The “U” shaped middle piece is ⅛ inch to ¼ inch smaller than the exact size of the fence rail. The open end of straight section extending from the “U” shaped section is tapered or bent outward to allow it to slip over the tabs of a fence rail as the device is driven over the rail inside the fence post.
Systems, apparatuses, and methods for knockdown livestock fencing
A knockdown fence assembly and methods thereof are provided. The knockdown fence assembly comprises a first connector piece, a first plurality of horizontal connectors, a second plurality of horizontal connectors, and a plurality of connector fasteners. The first connector piece includes a vertical main connector body with first and second pluralities of horizontal connector support pieces extending from the vertical main body in opposite directions. The first plurality of horizontal connectors are coupled to the first plurality of horizontal connector support pieces and extend into the vertical main connector body. The second plurality of horizontal connectors also extend into the vertical main connector body and overlap with the first plurality of horizontal connectors to define overlapping end portions. Each connector fastener extends through the vertical main connector body and a pair of the overlapping end portions of the first and second pluralities of horizontal connectors.
Fence system including fiberglass T-posts
Fence assemblies are assembled from T-posts and crossmembers which may comprise rails formed from C-channels. The T-posts and rails are formed from pultruded fiberglass and can be connected together using bolts and nuts or push rivets. Cross members comprising wires or pultruded, fiberglass tubes may also be used.
Fence system and method
A fence system may include stably coupleable posts, railings, and pickets. A post may include components configured to snap fit such as a post housing and post cover. A post cover may include a hole to snap fit to an end of a railing. A railing may include components configured to snap fit such as a railing housing and railing cover. Railing components may include holes positioned to correspond when the components are snap fit. The corresponding holes may be dimensioned to snap fit an end of a picket. Railings, pickets, or both may be pivoted when snap fit with a respective post or railing.
BARRIER WITH CABLE SYSTEM
A protective barrier includes a first end piece configured to be anchored and secured to a surface, a second end piece configured to be anchored and secured to the surface, a rail extending between the first end piece and the second end piece, and a cable extending through the rail and having a first end attached to the end piece and a second end attached to the second end piece. The rail has a first end mechanically coupled to the first end piece and a second end mechanically coupled to the second end piece.
Interlocking fence panels
Interlocking fence panels for interconnection between horizontal channeled rails in a fence system, and, more particularly, to improved interlocking fence panel members which can interconnect for insertion between horizontal channeled rails to provide a one-piece continuous infill effect between these horizontal channeled rails in a fence system which, when interconnected with other panels and in place, will not become disengaged from one another and which will strengthen the stability and integrity of the fence system itself.
GATE CORNER INSERT
A gate assembly is disclosed including a gate rail and an upright including a plurality of walls defining a cavity therebetween. A first of the walls includes an opening that is configured to receive the gate rail therethrough such that the gate rail extends into the cavity. The gate assembly further includes a gate corner insert configured for insertion into the cavity of the upright through a second opening of the upright. The gate corner insert includes a base and a plurality of protrusions extending from the base. The base and the plurality of protrusions define a second cavity therebetween with first and second protrusions of the plurality of protrusions defining a third opening in communication with the second cavity. The third opening and the second cavity are configured to receive the gate rail therein for removable attachment to the gate corner insert.
Fence installation method
A method of installing a fence is provided including advancing a plurality of beams into the ground so that the beams achieve a substantially vertical orientation, and installing a plurality of tubular posts over the beams so that the posts automatically attain the substantially vertical orientation, without having to dispose any other levelling structures between the beams and the posts. One or more horizontal rails can be installed relative to adjacent beams and tubular posts. The tubular posts can define holes, and the opposing ends of a rail can be inserted through corresponding holes. Where the beams have longitudinal channels, the ends of the rails can project through the holes in the posts and into those channels. The tubular posts and/or rails can be secured in place with fasteners. The method provides an inexpensive and quick way to install a fence without digging holes for the beams.
