METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR NEUROENHANCEMENT TO ENHANCE EMOTIONAL RESPONSE
A method of transplanting a desired emotional state from a donor to a recipient, comprising determining an emotional state of the donor; recording neural correlates of the emotional state of the donor who is in the desired emotional state; analyzing neural correlates of the emotional state of the donor to decode at least one of a temporal and a spatial pattern corresponding to the desirable emotional state; converting said at least one of a temporal and a spatial pattern corresponding to the desirable emotional state into a neurostimulation pattern; storing the neurostimulation pattern in the nonvolatile memory; retrieving the neurostimulation pattern from the nonvolatile memory; stimulating the recipients brain with at least one stimulus modulated with the neurostimulation pattern to induce the desired emotional state in the recipient.
Breastfeeding Therapeutic Hot/Cold Pack
The present invention is an improved therapeutic breast pack that helps enhance the breastfeeding experience. The invention provides the user with moist heat long enough to provide therapy to both breasts individually, before nursing and/or pumping. The present invention is filled with dried lavender buds in addition to the whole flaxseed. The flaxseed provides the moist heat (when warmed in microwave), and the dried lavender buds provides relaxation aromatherapy to the mother and baby. Relaxation can help the mother release milk easier, and can help the baby soothe and latch easier. The product is designed so the middle is open to protect the mother's nipple while providing therapy to her breast. Finally, the present invention has a microwavable, removable and machine washable cover. This allows for easy cleaning and usage. The cover does not need to be removed when warming the product in the microwave.
Systems, methods, and devices for biomarker shaping and sleep profile enhancement
Provided are systems, methods, and devices for biomarker shaping and sleep profile enhancement. Systems include a plurality of electrodes configured to be coupled to a brain of a user and configured to obtain a plurality of measurements from the brain of the user, and an interface configured to obtain the plurality of measurements from at least the plurality of electrodes. Systems also include a processing device comprising one or more processors configured to generate a first target sleep profile for the user based, at least in part, on the plurality of measurements and a plurality of biomarkers, the processing device being further configured to generate a plurality of stimulus parameters based, at least in part, on the target profile.
Sleep aid efficacy
A method or apparatus to improve sleep aid efficacy is described. The method comprises monitoring the sleeping patterns of a user utilizing a non-intrusive sleep monitoring device. The method further correlates the user's sleep quality and sleep quantity with use of the sleep aid. In one embodiment, the method adjusts the sleep aid based on the sleep statistics.
PORTABLE DEVICE AND METHOD FOR VAPORIZING MATERIALS
A portable device, and more particularly a portable device for vaporizing materials such as oils for inhalation. Also, methods for vaporizing materials and methods of operating portable vaporizing devices. In addition, networks for providing operational features and/or instructions for operation of vaporizing devices and for monitoring and collecting operational data. In preferred embodiments, a vaporizing device and/or methods for operating a vaporizing device wherein the vaporizing device includes one or more of the following features: security features to regulate operation of the device; automatic detection of vaporizing material identity; user experience monitoring and data collection; and/or temperature adjustment of vaporizing material based on detected material for vaporization.
Methods of Using Nasal Inserts for Treatments
Herein disclosed are methods of using nasal inserts for various different ailments. Easy modification of the insert allows for treatment of various ailments that can readily be treated via the nose, such as ailments triggered by smell. Specifically, the insert can direct air into or out of the nasal cavity and/or delivers medicinal substances to the appropriate regions, thereby providing the appropriate therapeutic effect, depending on the ailment being treated.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETECTING AND MANAGING PHYSIOLOGICAL PATTERNS
Systems and methods for managing sleep quality of a patient, comprising: collecting physiological signal data of the patient using a data acquisition unit electrically coupled to at least one sensor affixed to the patient that generates the physiologic signal data; using one or more hardware processors executing instructions stored in a storage device: filtering the physiological signal data into a plurality of frequency bands corresponding to a plurality of power spectra waveforms; and characterizing an etiology of sleep quality of the patient based on a comparison of at least a first power spectra waveform of the plurality of power spectra waveforms against at least a second power spectra waveform of the plurality of power spectra waveforms, wherein the sleep quality of the patient is managed based on the characterized etiology of sleep.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TREATING CHRONIC PAIN
Provided herein are systems and methods for treating chronic pain in a patient using virtual reality to modulate the neural plasticity of the patient's brain such that the patient forms an emotional bond to the virtual environment. The systems and methods may further include use of an odor emitter to enhance the user experience.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR NEUROSTIMULATION WITH MODULATION BASED ON AN AUDIO WAVEFORM
A method of neurostimulation includes delivering an electrical signal to a plurality of electrodes (215A, 215B) connected to a patient. The electrical signal is characterized by an amplitude and a carrier frequency. The method includes modulating an electrical signal based on an audio waveform. In some cases, the modulation may include modulating at least one of an amplitude and a carrier frequency based on the audio waveform. A neurostimulation device (200) comprising first and second electrodes is also disclosed.
Vibration producing device with sleep cycle function and transducer
A device is described for delivering a therapeutic vibration to a body. The device may include at least two motors in a housing with unbalanced masses coupled to their axles, such that vibration of the masses causes the two motors and housing to vibrate at a beat frequency 80. The motors and housing may be coupled to the body via a platform which places the motors and housings at or near a resonant structure in the body, creating a coupled oscillation between the platform and the body. The vibration may be based on the input signal, such that the system applies the vibration based on the input signal to the user, wherein the signal may be an audio or video signal. The system may be configured to measure and manipulate the flow of cerebral spinal fluid.
