Systems, devices and methods for galvanic vestibular stimulation having an envelope modulation
A method of galvanic vestibular stimulation (GVS) may include delivering an electrical signal via transdermal electrical stimulation using a plurality of electrodes connected to a patient. The electrical signal may include an amplitude and a carrier frequency. The method may include modulating at least one of the amplitude and the carrier frequency based on a modulation waveform to modulate the electrical signal, the modulation waveform may include a modulation frequency that is less than the carrier frequency.
Method and device for neurostimulation with modulation based on an audio waveform
A method of neurostimulation includes delivering an electrical signal to a plurality of electrodes (215A, 215B) connected to a patient. The electrical signal is characterized by an amplitude and a carrier frequency. The method includes modulating an electrical signal based on an audio waveform. In some cases, the modulation may include modulating at least one of an amplitude and a carrier frequency based on the audio waveform. A neurostimulation device (200) comprising first and second electrodes is also disclosed.
Combinatorial Terapeutic Systems and Methods
Combinatorial therapeutic systems can include an artificial sensory experience and a therapeutically effective amount of an analgesic selected from tapentadol or difelikefalin (CR845). Methods for treating and/or mitigating pain can include at least (i) receiving a therapeutic dose of an analgesic selected from tapentadol or difelikefalin (CR845) and (ii) receiving an artificial sensory experience. The artificial sensory experience can include one or more of 2D/3D/4D artificial sensory experiences, holography, augmented reality, virtual reality, and/or mixed reality. In some instances, the artificial sensory experience is virtual reality neuropsychological therapy or virtual reality distraction therapy.
Composition, device and method for delayed and sustained release of brain energy molecules
The present invention relates to compositions, devices and methods of delayed and sustained release of energy molecules for brain function. The composition comprises an energy molecule required for human brain function; wherein the release of the energy molecule is delayed and then sustained over a period of time. The methods comprise administering the composition subject in need thereof immediately prior to going to sleep. The present invention also relates to systems for brain stimulation during sleep and methods of use thereof. The system comprises a brain stimulation module and at least one of a brain energy source, a hypnotic source, or both. The methods involve administering to a subject a brain energy molecule, a hypnotic, or both and providing to the subject during restorative sleep a sensory stimulation.
Systems and methods for detecting and managing physiological patterns
Systems and methods for managing sleep quality of a patient, comprising: collecting physiological signal data of the patient using a data acquisition unit electrically coupled to at least one sensor affixed to the patient that generates the physiologic signal data; using one or more hardware processors executing instructions stored in a storage device: filtering the physiological signal data into a plurality of frequency bands corresponding to a plurality of power spectra waveforms; and characterizing an etiology of sleep quality of the patient based on a comparison of at least a first power spectra waveform of the plurality of power spectra waveforms against at least a second power spectra waveform of the plurality of power spectra waveforms, wherein the sleep quality of the patient is managed based on the characterized etiology of sleep.
TREATMENT OF SYNGAP1 ENCEPHALOPATHY
The present technology relates to methods of treating SYNGAP1 encephalopathy by transdermally administering an effective amount of cannabidiol (CBD) to the subject, wherein a SYNGAP1 symptom is treated in the subject.
GARMENT WITH ATTACHED ORNAMENT
Systems and methods of removably providing a functional ornament on a garment. The garment, which may be a shirt, includes a body configured to cover at least a portion of a center portion of an individual wearing the garment. The body has openings configured to receive different appendages of the individual passing therethrough. An anchor segment is attached to the body such that the anchor segment lies substantially flat against the body adjacent to the anchor segment. The ornament, which includes at least one of an aromatic compound, a crystal, a medicinal doser or a wellness insight technology is replaceably attached to the anchor segment.
Dissolving Oral Implement Assembly
A dissolving oral implement assembly for facilitating a user with an impaired ability to swallow to enjoy a flavor includes a swab that is comprised of a dissolvable material thereby facilitating the swab to dissolve when the swab is positioned in a user's mouth. The swab is infused with a chemical flavor thereby facilitating the chemical flavor to be released into the user's mouth when the swab is positioned in the user's mouth. In this way the swab can facilitate the user to enjoy a flavor imparted by the chemical flavor. A stem is attached to the swab thereby facilitating the swab to be inserted into the user's mouth.
Methods of using nasal inserts for treatments
Herein disclosed are methods of using nasal inserts for various different ailments. Easy modification of the insert allows for treatment of various ailments that can readily be treated via the nose, such as ailments triggered by smell. Specifically, the insert can direct air into or out of the nasal cavity and/or delivers medicinal substances to the appropriate regions, thereby providing the appropriate therapeutic effect, depending on the ailment being treated.
