Latch assembly for motor vehicle closure system having power release mechanism with override/reset
A power closure latch assembly with a manually actuatable release link, vehicle door therewith and method of allowing a power actuatable closure latch assembly to be converted for selective manual actuation is provided. The release link is configured to operably communicate an actuator lever with a release lever for conjoint movement therebetween, to provide power-assisted movement of a pawl between ratchet releasing and ratchet holding positions, when the release link is in a “normal” first operating position. The release link is further configured to allow the release lever to move independently from the actuator lever when the release link is in a manually deployed “override/reset” second position to provide spring-biased movement of the pawl from the ratchet releasing position back to the ratchet holding position.

DOOR HANDLE STRUCTURE OF VEHICLE
A lever is configured to be rotatable around a rotational support axis among a storage position where the lever is flush with a door outer panel, a gripping position where the lever is projected from the door outer panel by driving of a driving unit so that a user is able to grip the lever, and an open position where the lever is further projected from said gripping position. The driving unit is fixed in an opposite area of a hinge arm which is opposite, relative to the rotational support axis, to an area of the hinge arm where the lever is arranged. The above-described area of the hinge arm where the lever is arranged and the driving unit are provided to face each other relative to the rotational support axis when the lever takes the storage position.
DOOR HANDLE STRUCTURE OF VEHICLE
A lever is configured to be rotatable around a rotational support axis among a storage position where the lever is flush with a door outer panel, a gripping position where the lever is projected from the door outer panel by driving of a driving unit so that a user is able to grip the lever, and an open position where the lever is further projected from said gripping position. The driving unit is fixed in an opposite area of a hinge arm which is opposite, relative to the rotational support axis, to an area of the hinge arm where the lever is arranged. A device for switching and actuating multiple functions of a charging and/or filler-neck compartment system having a charging and/or filler-neck compartment and a cover which is movable relative to the charging and/or filler-neck compartment. The device has a drive element with a drive shaft, wherein the drive shaft is operatively connected to the cover such that, when the drive shaft rotates, the cover is movable relative to the charging and/or filler-neck compartment. The device furthermore has a mechanical control or switching mechanism, in particular in the form of or with a gearing mechanism, wherein the mechanical control or switching mechanism is designed such that, when the drive shaft rotates, a rotational movement of the drive shaft can be picked off by the mechanical control or switching mechanism for the purposes of manipulating at least one functional component of the charging and/or filler-neck compartment system as required.
Apparatus and method for providing a bypass feature in a latch
A latch having: a fork bolt movably mounted thereto; a detent lever movably mounted thereto, wherein the detent lever prevents the fork bolt from moving from a closed position to an open position when the detent lever is in a latched position; a bell crank lever movably mounted to the latch for movement between a first position and a second position, wherein the bell crank lever moves the detent lever from the latched position to the released position as the bell crank lever moves from the first position to the second position; a release lever movably mounted to the latch for movement between a first position and a second position; and an intermittent pin operatively coupled to bell crank lever and the release lever, wherein movement of the release lever is not transferred to the bell crank lever when the intermittent pin is in the second position.
Apparatus and method for providing a bypass feature in a latch
A latch having: a fork bolt movably mounted thereto; a detent lever movably mounted thereto, wherein the detent lever prevents the fork bolt from moving from a closed position to an open position when the detent lever is in a latched position; a bell crank lever movably mounted to the latch for movement between a first position and a second position, wherein the bell crank lever moves the detent lever from the latched position to the released position as the bell crank lever moves from the first position to the second position; a release lever movably mounted to the latch for movement between a first position and a second position; and an intermittent pin operatively coupled to bell crank lever and the release lever, wherein movement of the release lever is not transferred to the bell crank lever when the intermittent pin is in the second position.

A vehicle door lock device, including: a latch unit provided at a vehicle door, selectively adopting an unlatched state in which the vehicle door can be opened, or a latched state in which the vehicle door is maintained in a closed state, and transitioning from the unlatched state to the latched state in a case, in the unlatched state, in which the vehicle door is closed relative to the vehicle body; a mechanical operation unit switching the latch unit from the latched state to the unlatched state by means of at least one of operative parts being operated; an electrical operation unit connected to the mechanical operation unit, and switching the latch unit to the latched state or to the unlatched state, by means of power from a drive unit; and a cancellation unit that releases the connection between the electrical operation unit and the mechanical operation unit.
