ADJUSTABLE DEAD-LATCHING BOLT MECHANISM
20190040652 · 2019-02-07 ·

A latch mechanism having an adjustment mechanism that adjusts the distance to which a latch bolt extends into a mating recess. The adjustment mechanism may include a driver component and a driven component. Rotation of the driver component about a first axis may displace the driven component, thereby causing the position of the latch bolt to be adjusted along a second axis that is non-parallel to the first axis. According to certain embodiments, the first axis is perpendicular to the second axis. The latch mechanism may also include an inner housing that is displaced as the latch bolt is extended into, and retracted from, a mating recess in an adjacent structure. Further, the position of the inner housing may remain generally static as the position of the latch bolt is adjusted along the second axis via operation of the adjustment mechanism.

A cabinet assembly includes a cabinet having a cabinet body and a door assembly pivotably coupled to the cabinet body. The door assembly includes a door body having an outer panel, a first and second panel, and an inner panel that define an interior door cavity. The inner panel includes a fixed panel and a snap-in cover panel. The cabinet assembly includes a locking assembly at least partially contained within the interior door cavity and having a first lock rod, a latch and a locking mechanism each coupled to the first lock rod. The locking mechanism configured to selectively lock and unlock the door assembly to the cabinet body when the door assembly is in a closed position. The latch is configured to engage the flange when the locking mechanism is in the locked position to prevent movement of the door assembly from the closed to open position.

Adjustable dead-latching bolt mechanism

Storage box latch system and security features

A latch assembly for use in a storage container is provided, and comprises a bracket having a body, a first side, and a second side, the bracket being releasably secured to the first or the second body component of the storage container. The first side includes a protruding segment. The body includes at least one slot positioned thereon, the bracket being secured to the storage container via a fastener inserted through the at least one slot. The latch assembly also includes a handle secured to the bracket. When the handle is moved in a first direction, the bracket moves from a latched position to an unlatched position where the protruding segment passes through a lock box assembly, and when the handle is moved in a second direction, the bracket moves from an unlatched position to a latched position where the lock box assembly blocks movement of the protruding segment. The latch assembly is used in conjunction with a lock system.

Windows and doors assembly having ventilation function and horizontal contact function
12084911 · 2024-09-10 · ·

The present disclosure relates to a windows and doors assembly having a ventilation function and a horizontal contact function, and more particularly to a horizontal contact windows and doors assembly for crime prevention and security functions by preventing a window from being open even when the window is slightly open and it is possible to ventilate with the outside air. To achieve the objective of the present disclosure, the windows and doors assembly having a ventilation function and a horizontal contact function includes a window frame, and a windowsill in which the window frame is slidably installed, a handle rotatably installed on the window frame, an engagement unit provided on a lateral surface of the window frame, linked to movement of the handle, and moved in upward and downward directions, an engagement guide provided on the windowsill to face the engagement unit and configured to catch or not catch the engagement unit depending on a position of the engagement unit, and a horizontal moving device provided on at least one of a top surface or a bottom surface of the window frame, linked to the handle, and configured to make the window frame horizontally come into contact with the windowsill or to release horizontal contact depending on movement of the handle, and in this case, when a contact state of the window with respect to the windowsill by the horizontal contact device is released while a catching operation between the engagement unit and the engagement guide is performed, it is possible to ventilate through a gap between the window and the windowsill, the window is restrictly moved to form the gap, and the window is prevented from being freely open.
