Vehicle door checker
A door checker includes a housing which has a base from which first and second opposing flanges extend. First and second guide pins are spaced apart from one another and are interconnected to the first and second flanges. The first and second guide pins are configured to deflect in response to a load. A check arm extends through the base and is arranged between the first and second guide pins. The check arm is configured to move relative to the housing and includes a profile that corresponds to a variable door holding force. A bearing member is arranged on one side of the check arm and the bearing member coacts with the profile and is supported on the first and second guide pins and is configured to slide thereon in response to movement of the check arm relative to the bearing member. The bearing member transfers the load from the check arm to the first and second guide pins.
Method and device for impinging on a motor vehicle door in the sense of a deceleration, in particular for avoiding collisions
A method and to a device for impinging on a motor vehicle door in the sense of a deceleration, in particular for avoiding collisions. There is at least one sensor assigned to the motor vehicle door. Furthermore, as a function of signals from the sensor, the control unit actuates the locking device for locking the motor vehicle door. The locking device applies a preferably variable braking torque to the motor vehicle door, taking into account a braking start predetermined by the control unit.
Power door presenter with latching feature
A power door presenter system for pivoting a vehicle door relative to a vehicle body between a closed position and a partially open deployed position includes a presenter assembly mounted to one of the vehicle body and the vehicle door with an auxiliary striker fixed to the other one of the vehicle body and the vehicle door. The presenter assembly has an extensible member configured for movement between retracted and extended positions corresponding to the closed and deployed positions and an auxiliary latch mechanism moveable between latched engagement with the auxiliary striker when the vehicle door is indicated as not being under manual control of a user to allow automated return of the vehicle door to the closed position and unlatched engagement from the auxiliary striker when the vehicle door is indicated as being under manual control of the user to allow the door to be moved to a fully opened position.
Door stop mechanism for holding a door of an enclosure in an open position
An assembly according to some embodiments of the disclosure includes an enclosure having a housing and door hingedly attached to the housing and a door stop mechanism which holds the door in an open position. The mechanism includes a link member pivotally connected to the door and to the housing. The link member has an elongated slot which extends along a portion of the link member. The slot has a linear portion and an enlarged opening at an end thereof which is offset from the linear portion. When the door is opened, a fastener, which is either mounted to the housing or to the door, slides along the slot until the fastener is positioned in the enlarged opening to hold the door open.

OVEN DOOR HINGE
Present invention is related to a door hinge for opening and closing a door, the door hinge including: a fixing member fixed to the door frame of the oven range; an operating frame that is rotatably connected to the fixing member and is fixed to the door to open and close the door; a hinge bracket configured to rotatably connecting the operating frame to the fixing member, wherein the hinge bracket includes: a plate connected with the inside of the lower end of the operating frame, and a gap holding member having a first end, a second end, and in a shape of a at the center thereof for forming a space, wherein the first end of the gap holding member is connected to a lower end of the plate, and the second end of the gap holding member is connected to lower end of the fixing member.
Door presenting system and method of operating same
A method of operating a vehicle door includes the step of pushing an unlatched door to an ajar position. The unlatched door is mechanically held in the ajar position. In one embodiment, the method is performed using a door presenting system that includes a door checker that is configured to hold a door in the ajar position. A presenting actuator is movable between retracted and extended positions. The extended position corresponds to the ajar position. A controller is configured to move the presenting actuator between the retracted and extended positions in response to a presenting signal.
Positioner mechanism using linear adjusting lock
The present invention is a positioning mechanism device to prevent the motion of one surface with respect to a second surface, in one direction. The positioning mechanism uses a linear adjusting lock, an actuator, and an over-ride mechanism. The linear adjusting lock uses a coil spring to hold a rod in place. When firmly coiled, the coil spring is able to grip a smooth rod and prevent axial motion. When the coil spring is uncoiled, slightly, it releases its grip on the smooth rod, allowing axial motion. The positioner mechanism uses an actuator and release blade to release the coil spring. Additionally, the over-ride mechanism can be used to release the release blade in one direction without use of the actuator. When the coil spring is released by either the actuator or over-ride mechanism the two surfaces can be re-positioned relative to one another.
