Dual lumen microcatheter
The present disclosure relates to the field of endovascular treatment. More particularly, the present invention is a tool designed to implement an endovascular treatment by the implementation of two or more lumens on a microcatheter and/or having a side hole in a single lumen. The present invention ameliorates the medical difficulty associated with making a good plug to prevent reflux of liquid embolic along catheter and maximize distal penetration, usually in treatment of arteriovenous malformations (AVM) and arteriovenous fistulas (AVF).
MEDICAL OVERTUBE
A medical overtube includes a multi-lumen tube provided with a plurality of lumens through which medical devices are to be passed; a braided tube which covers an outer side of the multi-lumen tube and is made of braided fibers; and an outer tube that covers an outer side of the braided tube, wherein a through hole is formed in the multi-lumen tube or the outer tube, the through hole is configured to connect a space, which is covered by the outer tube and the multi-lumen tube and in which the braided tube is disposed, to an exterior.
DRAPE UNIT
To keep a clean area separated from an unclean area, a drape unit for separating the manipulator that has a treatment section at a distal end of an elongated section and that has at a proximal end a proximal-end drive unit from the base including, on a substantially horizontal top surface, a drive source to which the proximal-end drive unit is detachably connected, the drape unit includes: a drape main body that has an opening from which the drive source is exposed; and an adaptor that is interposed between the drive source and the proximal-end drive unit, that is disposed with a gap vertically above the opening, and that covers the entire opening, the adaptor includes a force transmission unit for transmitting the driving force from the drive source to the proximal-end drive unit.
MEDICAL MANIPULATOR
A medical manipulator including: a flexible elongated section composed of an electrically conductive material and capable of transmitting torsional torque; a joint section disposed at a distal end of the elongated section, having a joint, and composed of an electrically conductive material; a treatment section attached to a distal end of the joint section; a cylindrical connection member composed of an insulating material, disposed between the elongated section and the joint section, and connecting the elongated section and the joint section; an electric cable that extends internally through the elongated section, the connection member, and the joint section in a state where the electric cable is electrically insulated from the elongated section and the joint section; and a cover composed of an insulating material and covers outer surfaces of the joint section and the elongated section.
MEDICAL MANIPULATOR SYSTEM
In order to improve work efficiency of inserting manipulators into proximal ends of an over tube, a medical manipulator system includes: manipulators having, at the proximal ends, proximal-end driving parts; an over tube having channels through which the manipulators pass; and a base provided with support parts to which proximal end parts of the over tube are attached, and driving sources that supply driving force to the proximal-end driving parts, wherein each support part includes a movable part movable between a first position where the longitudinal axis of the proximal end part is supported horizontally and a second position where the proximal end is supported at a further position from the top surface, and an urging part that moves the movable part to the second position during the proximal-end driving part is not connected to the driving source.
Split and side-ported catheter devices
A catheter for use in medical applications is disclosed. The catheter comprises tubing with a tip hole at one end and an end portion at the other end. Fluid exits the catheter at the tip hole thereof. One or more alternative fluid pathway(s) are provided on the sidewall of the catheter to permit outflow of fluid medication from the catheter to ensure proper delivery of the medication to the intended target area, particularly when the tip opening is occluded or restricted for any reason.
Distal Valve for a Catheter
A bi-directional valve assembly, including valves for use in closed-ended catheters or other elongate tubular devices, is disclosed. In one embodiment, a catheter assembly for insertion into a body of a patient is disclosed and comprises an elongate catheter tube including an outer wall that at least partially defines at least one lumen that extends between a proximal end and a closed distal end thereof. The catheter tube includes a valve assembly that in turn includes a linear slit valve defined through the outer wall of a distal segment of the catheter tube, and a deformation region. The deformation region includes a compliant segment disposed in the outer wall of the catheter tube and a thinned portion of the outer wall. The compliant segment and thinned portion of the deformation region cooperate to preferentially deform the outer wall and open the slit valve during aspiration through the catheter tube.
Catheter including a unibody distal guidewire port and method of manufacture
Methods and devices incorporating a guidewire entry port subassembly for use in rapid exchange catheters. The use of a subassembly allows for stronger quality control and simpler fabrication of a rapid exchange device. In several embodiments, methods of making a molded guidewire entry port using a mold, often in conjunction with one or more mandrels, are disclosed. Several device embodiments include a separate molded guidewire port as well as molded guidewire ports which are attached, during a molding step, to segments of a catheter.
CATHETER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF CATHETER
A catheter and a manufacturing method thereof are disclosed, which can restrain a guide wire lumen and a dilation lumen from communicating with each other during thermal fusion-bonding while suppressing an increase in an outer diameter of a catheter shaft. A catheter has a catheter shaft in which a distal side shaft, an inner tube shaft, and a proximal side shaft are integrated with each other in a fusion region. The inner tube shaft has an opening portion which, opens outward and an arc-shaped portion which extends from the opening portion to a proximal side and which has only a portion of an entire circumference in a circumferential direction of the inner tube shaft. The fusion region includes the opening portion located on a distal side of a proximal end of the distal side shaft.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A CATHETER SHEATH
A catheter sheath comprises a tubular member connected to a catheter handle, the tubular sheath including one or more electrical conductors and one or more electrode rings attached to the tip of the tubular member. The tubular member further includes at least one opening that allows the one or more electrical conductor to be electrically connected to the one or more electrode rings. The electrode ring is slid over the tubular member so as to cover the opening. The tubular member and the electrode ring are subjected to heat treatment by induction heating so that the material of the tubular member melts locally around the electrode ring to form a seal between the tubular member and the electrode ring.
