ACTUATION SYSTEM

An actuation system for passenger seating has first actuating means for actuating a door from an open state to a closed state, and second actuating means for actuating the door from the closed state to the open state. The first actuating means may comprise a spring and allows movement of the door from the closed state to the open state. The second actuating is power-operated. The door can be opened and closed automatically by the user while still being operable manually, e.g. in the event of an emergency. This provides a premium feel without giving rise to safety concerns.

Drive system

A drive system for operation of a roll top cover for covering a cargo bed of a vehicle enables improved and smoother roll top cover movement. The drive system includes: an elongate housing that defines a longitudinal axis and first and second ends, the housing including an axially extending aperture for receiving the roll top cover therethrough; first and second receiving plates disposed transversely within the housing at the respective first and second ends thereof, the receiving plates comprising opposed spiral-shaped slots extending therethrough, each of the spiral-shaped slots having an open end proximally and a closed end distally; and a drive shaft assembly disposed within the housing and extending axially between the first and second ends thereof; wherein the drive shaft assembly is adapted for being operably connected to a drive chain and driving movement thereof within the spiral-shaped slots during operation of the roll top cover.

20230349221 · 2023-11-02 ·

A window lift for a motor vehicle contains a functional support for at least one guide rail, which slidably guides a rail slider for retaining a vehicle window, and a cable drive device. The cable drive device has an actuating drive and a cable drive housing, into which a cable drum, which can be coupled to the actuating drive and can be rotated about an axis of rotation, is or can be received, around which cable drum a pull cable is or can be wrapped. The cable drive housing has a bottom plate and a number of cylindrical wall elements for receiving the cable drum. The functional support has, at the periphery of a through-opening for the coupling of the cable drum to the actuating drive, a joining contour for establishing a form-locking connection to the cable drum housing when the cable drum is inserted therein.

Fuel/charge port door assembly override systems and methods

Vehicle assemblies are provided that include movable door assemblies. Examples of vehicle assemblies with movable door assemblies include charge port housing assemblies and fuel fill housing assemblies. An exemplary vehicle assembly may include an override retainer. The override retainer may include a flexible flap or clip that is configured to deflect or otherwise distort to release a latching assembly from the door assembly when a manual override force is applied to the door assembly.

The sliding door drive device includes a long guide frame, a first driven pulley and a second driven pulley being supported at both ends of the guide frame in a longitudinal direction, respectively, a belt being wrapped around the first driven pulley and the second driven pulley, and a belt drive part driving the belt. The guide frame includes a guide wall guiding the belt between the first driven pulley and the second driven pulley. The sliding door drive device further includes a sliding plate being placed at a position sandwiching the belt with an inner side of a curved part of the guide wall, and sliding on the driven belt.

DISHWASHER DOOR WITH COUNTERBALANCE ASSEMBLY
20220098913 · 2022-03-31 ·

A counterbalance assembly for an appliance has a guide member with a rotatable pulley with a fixed radius and a cam affixed to one side of the pulley and having a varying radius. The cam and the pulley rotate about a pulley axis of rotation as a single unit. The counterbalance has a force applicator that applies a counterbalance force to one of the pulley or cam, and the counterbalance has a connector that couples the other of the pulley or cam to the door. The counterbalance force applies a varying counterbalance torque to the door that is a function of the ratio between the fixed radius and the varying radius over the pivotal range of the door.
