SENSOR BASED DOOR CLOSER WITH AN INTELLIGENT CONTROL SYSTEM
The present invention provides a door closer control system that includes a door closer having a rack and pinion mechanism connected to a pair of shafts with different length and a pair of springs. The shorter shaft is attached to the pinion of the door closer and will rotate in conjunction with the pinion as the door opens or closes. The shafts have correspondent gears connected to the shafts. The rotation of the first gear will be meshing with the second gear on the second shaft. Electronic sensors are placed on both sides of the door to detect a presence of an object and are activated by the movement of the solenoids. The movement of the solenoids cause a set of springs in the system to engage and disengage from a link to allow free motion of the door.

A drive device for a leaf of a door, of a window or the like comprises a drive with a mechanical store which is charged by an opening movement of the leaf and is discharged with a closing movement of the leaf, at least one electric motor which is in operative connection with the leaf by means of at least one motor shaft and is operable as a generator for damping the leaf movements, and with open- and/or closed-loop control electronics for actuating the electric motor. The drive device also comprises a sensor system for monitoring at least one hazard zone in the region of the leaf. The electric motor is actuatable by means of the open- and/or closed-loop control electronics as a function of the output signals of the sensor system to make safe the hazard zone.

In an aspect, a vehicle door control system is provided for a vehicle having a vehicle body and a vehicle door. The door control system includes a check arm mounted to one of the vehicle body and the vehicle door, a check arm holder at least a portion of which is mounted to the other of the vehicle body and the vehicle door, and a controller. The controller is programmed to apply a resistive force on the vehicle door based on a determination of whether an obstacle is approaching the vehicle, data relating to the obstacle, and a position of the vehicle door.

An impact reducing device applied to a door or window which is closing includes a depth-sensing camera, an impact reducing system, and an impact reducing unit. The depth-sensing camera captures images of a target constantly, and obtains Z depth information of the target. The impact reducing system determines whether the target is going to close according to the Z depth information and controls the impact reducing unit to provide a resistance such as a strong jet of air when the target is going to close, to reduce violent impacts.

The present disclosure provides a method of protection for a passenger of a vehicle. The method may include determining, via a first sensor of the vehicle, that a door on a first side of the vehicle is ajar. The first side of the vehicle may be associated with a passenger of the vehicle. The method may further include: based on determining that the door of the vehicle being ajar, determining, via a second sensor of the vehicle, whether an object is approaching from a rear side of the vehicle on the first side of the vehicle; and performing, based on determining that the object is approaching, a passenger exit control.
