TREATMENT TOOL FOR ENDOSCOPE, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING TREATMENT TOOL FOR ENDOSCOPE
A treatment tool includes a second sheath (12) having a slit (12e) through which a guide wire is configured to be taken in and out of a first lumen, and a sheath-retaining part having a guide wire insertion opening (20b) having a slit (20c) and a main opening (20d), wherein a first end portion of the second sheath (12) has a first side cut surface (12g) and a second side cut surface (12h) intersecting in an X-shape, an axially cut surface formed by cutting in parallel to a central axis (O12) from an end surface (12k), an opening surrounded by the first side cut surface (12g), the second side cut surface (12h), and the axially cut surface and communicating with the first lumen at a position overlapping the main opening (20d), and a piece-like part.
Catheter system providing step reduction for postconditioning
A pre-assembled kit for administering ischemic postconditioning comprising a catheter and a handle having a fluid circuit to control and modulate flow of inflation fluid to and from a balloon wherein the catheter is free from additional assembly and preparation procedures such that it is ready-to-use within a variety of vessel sizes.
Balloon Inside a Guide Catheter
Techniques are described for a medical device that includes a securing balloon inside of a guide catheter. A catheter comprising a proximal portion, a distal portion, and an expanding member located at the distal portion, said distal portion having an inner wall and an outer wall, said expanding member attached to said distal portion at the inner wall.
Wire organizer basin with spools
A wire organizer includes a basin having an inner surface that defines a reservoir. The reservoir has a liquid therein. A hub is positioned within the reservoir. A plurality of spools are positioned on the hub such that the spools are spaced apart from the inner surface and are rotatable relative to the basin. The spools each have a wire wrapped around each of the spools. At least a portion of each of the wires extends through the liquid. Systems and methods are disclosed.
Guidewire positioning catheter
A catheter for positioning a guidewire across an occluded portion of a vessel includes an elongate catheter body, an integrated rotatable distal tip, a proximal handle region, and a catheter lumen extending through the elongate catheter body. The elongate body has a distal region configured to be bent to a set angle. The integrated rotatable distal tip includes one or more channeled flutes extending around the distal tip that are configured to be rotated in a first direction to dissect tissue and a second direction for bluntly contacting tissue. A proximal handle region includes a control for rotating the distal tip in either the first or second directions. The catheter lumen is configured to pass a guidewire.
REMOVABLE CLIP FOR CATHETER
A removable clip for connection with a catheter for a remote surgical procedure is provided. The clip includes a body and an arcuate concave surface configured to rest upon a central portion of the body and opposed first and second legs that each extend therefrom. A ramp surface extends from the body portion, the ramp surface with a portion that extends at an acute angle with respect to a longitudinal axis through the concave surface. A portion of the ramp surface is configured to extend within an aperture within a side wall of a catheter when the clip is fixed to the side wall of the catheter.
SYSTEM FOR A WIRE-LUMEN FREE BALLOON CATHETER
The invention relates to a low profile lumen free balloon catheter and a system for advancing the lumen free balloon from a build wire to a wire guide. The low profile balloon lacks an internal wire guide cannula between the catheter shaft and the soft tip. A releasable engagement is provided to connect/disconnect the build wire to/from the wire guide. A soft tip seals around the wire guide following advancement of the balloon catheter over the wire guide.
Catheter insertion apparatus with continuous visible flashback
The present disclosure relates to a catheter insertion apparatus including a hollow needle body connected to a needle hub, and a catheter that removably fits over the needle body. The needle body has a sharp distal needle tip for piercing a blood vessel wall. An internal flow passage of the needle hub is in fluid communication with the hollow needle body. An elongated housing is connected to the needle hub and includes a lumen in fluid communication with the internal flow passage of the needle hub. An integrated guide assembly is slidably mounted to the housing and is operable to move between a retracted position and an extended position. A flashback chamber is operable to receive a continuous flow of blood before, during, and after movement of the guide assembly between its retracted and extended positions. A safety guard may provide protection from the sharp needle tip.
