Endovascular remotely steerable guidewire catheter
A catheter, more particularly an endovascular catheter, with a catheter shaft including a first lumen and a shaft opening, a deflection element and a controlling element. The first lumen and the shaft opening communicate with each other. The deflection element is rotatably arranged inside the catheter shaft, and configured to deflect a guidewire through the shaft opening. The controlling element is operably connected with the deflection element and configured to rotate the deflection element in a first rotating direction . Furthermore, the present invention refers to a catheter assembly with such a catheter and a guidewire.
Catheter assembly having an injection port and related methods
A catheter assembly may include a catheter adapter. A body of the catheter adapter may include a distal end, a proximal end, and a first lumen extending through the distal end and the proximal end. The catheter adapter may include a side port, which may extend outwardly from the body. The side port may include a second lumen, which may be perpendicular to the first lumen. The catheter assembly may include a catheter extending distally from the distal end of the body. The catheter assembly may include a valve disposed within the first lumen. The valve may include an outer surface that is cylindrical and may seal the first lumen from the second lumen. The catheter assembly may include a divider disposed with the second lumen. The divider may divide the second lumen into a plurality of openings and may increase a burst value of the valve.
MEDICAL DEVICE DELIVERY MEMBER WITH FLEXIBLE STRETCH RESISTANT DISTAL PORTION
A delivery member is provided for delivering and deploying an intravascular medical device. The delivery member includes a flexible distal portion including a wound wire coil surrounded by a flexible sleeve and inhibited from extending lengthwise by a stretch resistant member positioned through the lumen of the coil. The delivery member can include hypotubes positioned on either side (distally and proximally) from the wound wire coil to which the stretch resistant member and the wound wire coil can be attached.
Catheter Assembly for Blood Clots Removal
An endovascular catheter has an elongate catheter body having a distal portion, a proximal portion, multiple transition portions and a central lumen extending longitudinally through the catheter body. The catheter has a hybrid reinforcement, an angulated radiopaque marker and an angulated distal tip to improve the catheter’s ability to navigate vasculature and to improve clot aspiration.
Catheter assembly
A multi lumen catheter assembly. The assembly provides an expandable, low profile, fixed length sheath and catheter, with fixed infusion ports. The assembly has an expandable outer sheath that expands upon pressure activation with a fluid and the sheath allows the fluid to exit from at least one predetermined fixed location from a distal end of the catheter assembly. The catheter assembly can be used in various medical device procedures, such as a TIPS (Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt) procedure, or anywhere a low profile, multi lumen, infusion catheter system is desired.
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR SPHINCTER REINFORCEMENT
Sphincter reinforcement devices are described. Sphincter reinforcement devices may be configured to be placed at least partially around a bodily passage at or near a sphincter. In one embodiment, a sphincter reinforcement device may comprise a ring including a tubular structure. The ring may be expandable. The tubular structure may be hollow. The tubular structure may have a first end and a second end. The first end may be configured to be coupled to the second end. The tubular structure may include a braided material.
MEDICAL DEVICES FOR FLUID DELIVERY
Medical devices and methods for delivering fluid. The medical devices include one or more needles for delivering fluid. The methods may include expanding an expandable member such as an inflatable member to expand an expandable scaffold outward toward a lumen wall.
THREE-DIMENSIONAL (3D) HERNIA PLUG DEVICE AND A METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THEREOF
Various embodiments are disclosed herein that generally relate to a three-dimensional (3D) hernia plug device and a method of manufacturing thereof. In at least one embodiment, there is disclosed a three-dimensional (3D) hernia plug, comprising: a waist portion extending, along a longitudinal extension axis, between a first waist end and a second waist end; one or more first overhangs coupled to the first waist end; and one or more second overhangs coupled to the second waist end, wherein the hernia plug is configured to translate between a pre-activation state and a post-activation state.
Method and Devices for Passing a Chronic Total Occlusion and Re-entry into a True Lumen
Methods and devices are disclosed for passing Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO) from subintimal location and re-entry into a true-lumen of the patient using transient fenestration approach. The transient fenestration is induced by balloon dilatation within the CTO, and a guidewire quickly trails into a true lumen.
