Fenestration member sealing system

The system includes a gear mounted for rotation relative to the fenestration member. A mechanical linkage connects the latch control member and the gear such that the gear is rotated from a first position, where the latch is disengaged, to a second position as the latch is moved to engage the fenestration member frame. A rack in engagement with the gear is mounted to a first bar for linear movement in a given direction as the gear is rotated. A first triangular member moves with the rack. A second triangular member attached to a second bar cooperates with the first triangular member to move the second bar in a direction substantially perpendicular to the direction of rack movement. A gasket moves with the second bar to a position abutting the adjacent surface to automatically seal the member to the adjacent surface as the member is latched.

Magnetically actuated door seal

An automatic door seal seals the gap between the lower edge of a door and a threshold. The seal is magnetically actuated so as to move downward into sealing engagement with the threshold when the door is closed and raises out of engagement when the door is opened. A transmission assembly converts horizontal movement from the magnetic force into vertical movement for the seal. Springs provide a reset force when the magnetic force is eliminated so as to retract the seal strip whenever the door is moved from the closed position.

DOOR ARRANGEMENT

A door arrangement has a door frame, a door leaf, door hinges and a magnetic closure device, wherein the door hinges are fastened on a hinge side of the door leaf and join the door leaf swivelably with the door frame. The door frame has, as a stop for the door leaf in the closed position, a step, which has a stop arm overlapping the door leaf in the closed position and a lateral arm extending outside the door leaf. The closure device on the door frame is formed from a magnet arrangement as well as a portion of magnetic material on a rim of the door leaf. The magnet arrangement is disposed on the lateral arm in such a way that a clear gap remains between the magnet arrangement and the portion of magnetic material disposed on the rim of the door leaf.

Sealing assembly

A sealing assembly includes a door and a seal. The door includes a flexible body that is movable between an open position and a closed position. The seal is movable between an engaged position in which the seal is positioned in engagement with a portion of the flexible body when the flexible body is in the closed position and a disengaged position in which the seal moves away from the portion of the flexible body as the flexible body moves from the closed position to the open position such that the flexible body is spaced from the seal to minimize frictional engagement with the seal.

A sealing system for doors and windows includes a reservoir device, a sealing tube configured to expand and to contract, and a transfer valve configured to couple the reservoir device to a first end of the sealing tube. Responsive to either of a door or window closing, a medium may be transferred from the reservoir device via the transfer valve to the sealing tube. Responsive to receiving the medium, the sealing tube may expand to substantially seal a gap between an edge of either of the door or the window and a surface in proximity to the edge. Responsive to either of the door or window opening, the medium may be discharged from the sealing tube via the transfer valve. The sealing tube may contract in response to discharging the medium.

Electric rail car door structure

A door structure of an electric rail car is provided to block outside noise and vibration. The door structure of the electric rail car includes a door frame, a guide rail and a sealing device. The door frame has an opening thereinside. The guide rail guides an opening and a closing of the door frame. The sealing device is inserted into the opening, descends to make contact with the guide rail when the door frame is closed, and ascends to be spaced apart from the guide rail when the door frame is open.

Door device with pressure difference mitigating mechanism

A door is formed into a folding door by dividing the door into two parts to left and right, that is, a hanging door and a door-end door pivotally supported by the hanging door, and the door-end door is used as the pressure difference mitigating mechanism, and the two doors are integrally operated in a normal time, while if a pressure difference is generated, the door-end door can be first opened in order to reduce an opening force, and the door device with a pressure difference mitigating mechanism with excellent operability is provided. A handle position, a latch position, and a torque are adjusted for a handle for door opening/closing, a door closer, a hinge closer for rotating the door-end door with respect to the hanging door, a latch A of the door-end door to a door frame, and a latch B of the door-end door to the hanging door.

A door sealing system includes a door seal for sealing either an upper or a lower side of a building door wing, and an air channel which enables, when the door seal is in the sealing position, air to circulate from a longitudinal side of the door seal to an opposite longitudinal side of the door seal. The door sealing system also includes at least one ventilator that guides air through the air channel. The door sealing system enables sufficient air to be exchanged even when the door wing is closed.
