Foldable step
The present invention relates to at least a foldable step. The step features an upper and a lower step supported by a structure including a right side each having a vertical support member, an angled support member, and upper and lower step support members. A horizontal front support member provides support for the lower step. Left and right diagonal support members are slidably coupled to the upper step support members. A rear horizontal support member and optional diagonal members provide additional support to the upper step. The step is foldable into a folded position, by folding both the upper and lower steps upwardly. The step has a minimal profile in the folded position.

Step stool with rib, and method
A step stool having a platform having a length at least 1.5 times a length of a first step. The platform rotatably attached to a first front leg and a second front leg above the first step. The first step having a perimeter having a first side which extends down from a top of the first step. The first step having a first boss that extends outward from the first side through which a first fastener extends to attach the first front leg to the first step. The first step having a rib which extends outwards from the first side adjacent the first boss and in alignment with the first front leg when the first and second front legs and first and second rear legs are in an open position where they form a generally upside down V shape. The rib providing support to the first front leg when a cantilever type force is applied to the stepladder. A method for using a step stool.

Apparatus to assist a mechanic to work on the engine of a vehicle
An apparatus which enables a person to comfortable work on the engine of a vehicle includes base, spine, post, knee pad, and chest pad components. The spine component is pivotally connected to the base component. A brace prevents the pivoting movement but is removably connected between the spine and the base to allow pivoting when desired. The spine component carries the tube component at a selected height, and the tube component carries the knee pad component at a selected position. The tube component carries the chest pad component.
FOLDABLE IRON LADDER
A foldable iron ladder comprises two front leg pipes, two rear leg pipes, a stand platform, and a climbing platform. Two sides of a front portion of the stand platform are pivotally connected to the two front leg pipes. Two sides of a middle portion of the stand platform are pivotally connected to first ends of two connecting pieces. Second ends of the two connecting pieces are pivotally connected to the two rear leg pipes. The climbing platform is located below the stand platform. The climbing platform is connected between the two front leg pipes. The climbing platform comprises a flanged edge extending along all sides thereof in an enclosed shape and extending downward greater than 2 centimeters. The climbing platform and the two front leg pipes are made of iron and are welded together. When in an opened state, the stand platform and the climbing platform are horizontally arranged.

BRACES FOR LADDERS, LADDERS INCORPORATING SAME AND RELATED METHODS
Ladder components, such as braces, as well as ladders and methods of manufacturing ladders are provided. In one embodiment, a ladder brace is provided which extends between a rail and a cross member (e.g., a rung or a cross-brace). The ladder brace may include a first connecting portion associated with the rail, a second connecting portion associated with the cross member, and a strut portion extending between the first and second connecting portions. At least one of the first connecting portion and the second connecting portion is configured to completely encircle its associated component (e.g., either the rail or the cross member, respectively).
