The coupler is configured to selectively couple the inflation fluid supply tube to an endoscope. The coupler is configured to engage against an exterior surface of the inflation fluid supply tube. The coupler is disposable between the first end and the opening of the inflation fluid supply tube.

Through tip for catheter

Catheter having an elongate tubular shaft including an inflation lumen and a guidewire lumen defined therein, the guidewire lumen extending along at least a distal length of an inner tubular member of the elongate tubular shaft. The catheter includes a distal tip member having a proximal end and a distal end, wherein the distal tip member is monolithic and the proximal end of the distal tip member is secured to a distal end of the inner tubular member. The catheter includes a balloon having a proximal portion and a distal portion, the proximal portion of the balloon sealingly coupled to the distal portion of the elongate tubular shaft. The distal portion of the balloon is sealingly coupled to the distal tip member and the balloon defines an inner chamber in communication with the inflation lumen, wherein the proximal end of the distal tip member is disposed within the inner chamber.

Balloon catheter and stent delivery system

A balloon catheter and a stent delivery system are disclosed, which includes a shaft portion of which an axially orthogonal cross section of an outer peripheral surface has a polygonal shape, and a balloon which is foldable on the outer peripheral surface of the shaft portion and in which turned-back portions are formed when folded. Portions formed to linearly extend along an axial direction in the turned-back portions are respectively positioned on sides of the polygonal shape. A stent can be arranged on an outer periphery of a balloon in the balloon catheter and expands in response to dilation of the balloon.

Guidewire manipulator

A manipulator, including an elongated chassis containing a U-shaped channel defining a distal direction and a proximal direction. The manipulator also includes an adjuster that is configured to slide in the U-shaped channel. The adjuster includes a first wheel which on rotation translates a guidewire positioned in the adjuster along an axis of the guidewire, and a second wheel which on rotation rotates the guidewire positioned in the adjuster about the axis of the guidewire. The adjuster also includes a port, distal to the first and the second wheel, that is configured to accept a tubular balloon and the guidewire.

Medical balloon assembly

In one aspect, a medical balloon assembly includes a tip sleeve secured to the distal end portion of a balloon catheter that includes the distal neck of a balloon. The tip sleeve has at least an inner layer and an outer layer. The inner layer is formed from a bondable material that is directly bondable to the exterior of the distal neck portion of the balloon. The tip sleeve is bonded directly to the distal neck of the balloon. The outer layer is formed from a lubricious polymer. Such a medical balloon assembly is made by receiving the distal neck inside the proximal end portion of the tip sleeve and directly bonding the distal neck of the balloon to the inner layer of the tip sleeve.

Reinforced balloon catheter

A balloon catheter is described, having a reinforced, co-axial, duel lumen design. At least one of the lumens is formed of a multilayer, tubular element in which one of the layers functions, in part, to provide radial reinforcement to the tubular element.

Balloon Catheter Assisted by Pulling a Puller-Wire

A medical instrument includes a shaft, a distal-end assembly and a puller-wire. The shaft is configured for insertion into a body of a patient. The distal-end assembly, which is coupled to the shaft, includes a telescopic assembly, configured to elongate so as to collapse the distal-end assembly, and to compress so as to expand the distal-end assembly. The distal-end assembly further includes an elastic element, coupled to self-elongate and thus elongate the telescopic assembly. The distal-end assembly also includes an inflatable balloon, which is coupled to the telescopic assembly and is configured to collapse by the telescopic assembly elongating, and to expand by the telescopic assembly compressing. The puller-wire runs through the shaft and is connected to a distal end of the telescopic assembly, and is configured, when pulled, to compress the telescopic assembly.
