METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SETTING AND RETRIEVING A CROWN PLUG
A device for setting and retrieving a crown plug in a well head. The device has a mandrel device, an outer housing device, a snap sleeve device downwardly protruding from the lower end of the mandrel device and a locking element. The device has an upper plug connection device and a lower plug connection device for connection to the upper connection interface and a lower plug connection device of the crown plug, respectively. An annular compartment is provided radially outside at least parts of the locking element and radially inside a lower end section of the mandrel device. An upper end of the snap sleeve device is provided axially displaceable in the annular compartment. The lower plug connection device may be configured between a locked state and an unlocked state by axial displacement of the snap sleeve device in relation to the locking element.
Subsea universal Xmas tree hang-off adapter
Adapter (15) for an oil or gas field Christmas tree (4), said adapter (15) comprising a first interface (16) to connect the adapter (15) to a corresponding Christmas tree interface (17) on the top of the Christmas tree (4), distinctive in that the adapter (15) further comprises a second interface (18), at least one feed-through, and at least one of: a well barrier element, an internal profile for setting a plug, a hanger or a combined hanger and plug.
METHOD AND APPARATUS TO EFFECT INJECTION OF FLUIDS INTO A SUBSEA HORIZONTAL TREE
An apparatus for effecting injection of fluids into a subsea horizontal tree includes a fluid injection tree cap having a body with a bore extending therethrough so as to open at one end to a top of the body. An isolation valve is cooperative with the bore of the body so as to open or close fluid flow through the bore. The fluid injection tree cap is connected to the horizontal subsea tree. The horizontal subsea tree has only a single crown plug therein. The bore of the fluid injection tree cap communicates with an annulus of the horizontal subsea tree. The horizontal subsea tree has valving therein so as to selectively direct fluid from the bore of the tree cap to the annulus of the well or to the horizontal subsea tree.
Subsea completion with crossover passage
A system for producing or injecting fluids through a tubing hanger connected with a tubing string. The system includes a subsea tree with a tree flow passage and a tree annulus flow passage. The system includes a spool assembly separate from the subsea tree that includes a body with a spool longitudinal passage. The spool assembly also includes a spool lateral flow passage extending laterally from the spool longitudinal passage and configured to transfer the fluids to or from the tree flow passage. The spool assembly also includes a spool annulus flow passage in fluid communication with an annulus. The system includes a mating hub connection between the spool assembly and the subsea tree. The mating hub connection includes a connection configured to fluidly connect the spool lateral passage and the tree passage and an annulus connection configured to fluidly connect the spool annulus passage with the tree annulus passage.
Subsea well assembly and assoicated method
Subsea well assembly having a Xmas tree (107, 207) and wellhead (103). From a tubing hanger (113) a tubing extends into the well. A part of a production flow passage extends vertically from the tubing hanger (113) in a vertical bore (111) of the Xmas tree. A fail close production master valve (PMV) (117) is arranged in the production flow passage. The tubing hanger (113) is arranged below the Xmas tree (107), such as in the wellhead (103). The Xmas tree (107) exhibits a branch (115) that deviates from the vertical bore (111), which branch constitutes part of the production flow passage. The fail close type production master valve (PMV) (117) is arranged in the branch (115).
CONNECTION SYSTEM FOR SUBSEA FLOW INTERFACE EQUIPMENT
A system for connecting flow interface equipment to a subsea tree or manifold is disclosed. The system relates to an apparatus adapted to inject fluids into a well having a flow bore. The system includes a connection apparatus adapted to land a conduit on a subsea tree or manifold and to connect the conduit of the connection apparatus to an access port or choke body of the tree or manifold.
Horizontal vertical deepwater tree
A subsea hydrocarbon production system comprises a tubing hanger which is positioned at an upper end of a well bore, a tubing string which extends from the tubing hanger into the well bore and is fluidly connected to the tubing hanger production bore, and a christmas tree which is positioned above the tubing hanger. The christmas tree comprises a production bore which is fluidly connected to the tubing hanger production bore, a production outlet which is connected to the production bore, a first barrier element which is positioned in the production outlet, and a first closure device which is positioned in the production bore above the production outlet. In this manner access from above the christmas tree through the production bore does not require passage through a barrier element.
HANGER, HANGER TOOL, AND METHOD OF HANGER INSTALLATION
A system includes a hanger running tool and a pressure port. The hanger running tool includes an upper body, a lower body disposed about the upper body, a first lock ring disposed between the upper body and the lower body, the first lock ring comprising a tapered top surface, a first push ring disposed between the upper body and the lower body, the first push ring comprising a tapered bottom surface that interfaces with the tapered top surface of the first lock ring, an upper piston disposed about the upper body, and a lower piston disposed about the first lock ring, the first push ring, and the lower body, extending axially downward. The pressure port is in fluid communication with a volume between the upper piston and the lower piston.
SHOULDER, SHOULDER TOOL, AND METHOD OF SHOULDER INSTALLATION
A shoulder includes a shoulder body having a plurality of J-slots disposed circumferentially about the shoulder body at a first axial end of the shoulder body, a retainer ring disposed about the shoulder body having an exterior threaded surface and an annular lip, a load ring having a threaded interior surface configured to interface with the threaded exterior surface of the retainer ring and a tapered bottom surface, and a lock ring having a tapered bottom surface configured to interface with the tapered bottom surface of the load ring such that when the load ring moves axially toward the lock ring, the lock ring radially expands and when the load ring moves axially away from the lock ring, the lock ring radially contracts.
TUBULAR WELLHEAD COMPONENT COUPLING SYSTEMS AND METHOD
A spool adapter includes an annular spool adapter body, a pressure port disposed on an exterior surface of the adapter body, a piston ring disposed within the spool adapter body, adjacent the pressure port, and a retainer ring disposed within the spool adapter body, axially opposite the pressure port from the piston ring. Pressure applied via the pressure port causes the piston ring and the retainer ring to separate from one another.
