ANTISEPTIC SOLUTIONS AND APPLICATORS
An antiseptic solution comprising a pH-dependent antimicrobial agent, the pH-dependent antimicrobial agent having an operative pH range, wherein the solution has a pH on storage that is lower than the operative pH range. Applicators for applying the antiseptic solution and methods of using the antiseptic solution and applicators are also provided.
SWEAT PAD AND METHODS OF USING SAME
The present disclosure provides devices for preventing or absorbing fluid (e.g., sweat) and/or odors from the intergluteal cleft of a subject. In some embodiments, the present disclosure provides devices for treating or preventing hemorrhoids and methods of using same.
EAR CLEANING DEVICE
A swab that may be used as an ear cleaning device including an elongate stem with an oil absorbing sheet covering a tip core at each end extending outwardly, wherein the tip core may be comprised of a soft, resilient material such as cotton. oil absorbing sheet wrapped around the tip core to form a covered swab end. The covered swab ends render the tips more oil absorbent than a typical cotton swab.
Dispensing applicator for fluids
A dispensing applicator includes a container configured to contain a fluid, the container including an inlet end having an opening and an outlet end, the container containing a predetermined volume of fluid; an attachment member received within and secured to the container, the attachment member including a length portion including a frangible section, the frangible section including a tongue element; an end face member secured within the opening of the inlet end, the end face member defining an opening; a sealing member that fluidically seals the opening of the end face member; and a fracture anvil having an interior interference geometry configured to slidaby receive the tongue element during an assembly and wherein a rotational movement of the fracture anvil relative to the tongue element causing the interior geometry to interfere with said tongue element such that fluid is released from the container while said tongue element remains attached to the frangible section.
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR DELIVERY OF PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITIONS
Described herein are devices for delivering pharmaceutical compositions to individuals in need thereof. Also described herein are methods of using the devices described herein to deliver pharmaceutical compositions to individuals in need thereof.
MEDICAL SKIN APPLICATOR APPARATUS
The present invention relates to a fluid applicator apparatus and methods of using the apparatus. In particular, the present invention relates to an apparatus for storing and dispensing solutions (e.g., fluid solutions of any kind) (e.g., liquid medicaments and/or sterilization solutions) to a surface of a subject.
System for integrating an antibacterial-element receptacle into an autoinjector cap
A system for integrating an antibacterial-element receptacle into an autoinjector cap facilitates the pre-injection treatment, the post-injection treatment, and prevents the accidental delivery of the injection. The system includes a cap assembly, an autoinjector body, and an antiseptic-soaked dressing. The cap assembly encloses the needle of the autoinjector and prevents the accidental trigger of the injection mechanism. The autoinjector body refers to the body of any conventional autoinjector. The antiseptic-soaked dressing is applied to the patient's skin prior to the delivery of the injection to disinfect and sterilize the injection area. The antiseptic-soaked dressing is housed in the cap assembly, between a receptacle and a removable cover. The removable cover is releasably mounted to the receptacle to allow access to the antiseptic-soaked dressing.
LIQUID DERMATOLOGICAL AGENT DISPENSING DEVICE
A dispensing device includes a container defining a reservoir containing a liquid and a porous applicator for dispensing the liquid. Another dispensing device includes two containers attached to each other, where the first container defines a reservoir containing a first liquid and a porous applicator for dispensing liquid and the second container contains a second liquid that may be dispensed via application of a force.
Method and System for Treating Vulvodynia
Among other things, a system and a method are provided for generating space-filling foam for treating vulvodynia with medication compounded of multiple reactants; the system comprises an aerosol surmounted on a vulva-enclosing container configured to seal the vulva; the actuator on the aerosol operates a one-way valve to dispense said space-filling foam; and the method includes the following steps: selecting the vulvar cap delivery dispenser, affixing the dispenser over the vulva, depressing the pressure-sensitive switch operating the valve to deliver the appropriate quantity of medication in a space-filling foam, removing the delivery dispenser, and cleansing the dispenser; repeating the procedure according to a treatment regimen.
