Power operated locking system for earth moving equipment and method
An adaptor includes a body defining a longitudinal axis, and a transverse axis that is normal to the longitudinal axis. The body also has a leading portion defining a lock receiving recess extending transversely at least partially through the leading portion. The leading portion defines at least one linear portion in the lock receiving recess that is configured to engage the power locking device.
HYBRID LOAD BUCKET ASSEMBLY
A hybrid bucket assembly for a work vehicle having movable loader arms includes a reinforcing structure having a first edge plate, a second edge plate and at least two support members extending from the first edge plate. The reinforcing structure is for coupling the bucket assembly to the movable loader arms. The bucket assembly includes a double-wall bucket defining a volume for carrying material. The bucket is coupled to the at least two support members of the reinforcing structure, and the bucket has a leading edge coupled between the first edge plate and the second edge plate.
Bucket for an earth-working or materials-handling machine
Disclosed is a bucket for an earth-working or materials-handling machine having a top portion, a first and a second side wall, a bucket floor extending from a front cutting edge up to the top portion, wherein the front cutting edge, the first and second side walls and the top portion form a bucket opening, seen from a front view of the bucket, the bucket floor has an inside facing towards the bucket opening and an outside facing away from the bucket opening, characterized in that the bucket floor comprises a first and a second rail section, wherein each one of the rail sections has at least one detachable wear component connected to the bucket floor, the bucket floor further has at least one inverted keel section with a trough portion on the outside of the bucket floor and a ridge portion on the inside of the bucket floor.
Snubber for shovel dipper
A damper for dampening rotation of a dipper door relative to a dipper body of a mining shovel includes a shaft, an arm, and a high pressure fluid seal. The shaft supported for rotation about a shaft axis, and rotation of the shaft is dampened by fluid in an enclosed chamber. The high pressure fluid seal engages an outer surface of the shaft at a position between the first end of the shaft and the second end of the shaft. The high pressure fluid seal engages an outer surface of the shaft and includes a low pressure side and a high pressure side adjacent a shaft cavity. The arm includes a first end coupled to the first end of the shaft, and a second end coupled to the dipper door or the dipper body such that rotation of the dipper door drives the arm to rotate the shaft.
Securement of a wear member to an excavation implement
A wear member attachment system for use with an excavation implement can include a connector that releasably secures a wear member to the excavation implement, the connector including an elongated housing and engagement members extendable and retractable relative to the housing. One engagement member can extend relative to the housing when another engagement member retracts relative to the housing, and vice versa. A method of releasably securing a wear member to an excavation implement can include rotating a engagement member of a connector from an extended position in which opposing slots in the engagement member are aligned with respective projections in the wear member, to a retracted position in which the slots are not aligned with the projections. The rotating step can include extending another engagement member of the connector as the first connector displaces from the extended position to the retracted position.
Shovel
A shovel includes a first pump 14L; a second pump 14R; a hydraulic swing motor 21; a pump/motor 14A configured to generate an engine-assist torque in response to hydraulic oil from the hydraulic swing motor 21 during swing deceleration; an accumulator 80 configured to accumulate the hydraulic oil flowing out of the hydraulic swing motor 21 during swing deceleration; a regeneration valve 22G configured to switch open/close of transfer from a discharge port 21L to the pump/motor 14A and the accumulator 80; and a controller configured to control the regeneration valve 22G. During swing deceleration, the controller adjusts an open area of the regeneration valve 22G in such a way that a swing flowing-out pressure becomes a swing braking target pressure, and causes the hydraulic oil flowing out of the hydraulic swing motor 21 to flow into the pump/motor 14A and the accumulator 80 at the same pressure.
COLLECTOR ASSEMBLY
A collector assembly for collecting debris from opposite sides of a member such as an elevated beam. The collector assembly includes a platform extending laterally between a first side edge and a second side edge. A first trough is provided for disposition along one side of the beam for receiving debris. A second trough is provided for disposition along the opposite side of the beam and is adjacent to and parallel with the first trough.
Method and arrangement for transferring a heavy work machine on a sloping base
A method for slowing transfer of a heavy work machine on a sloping base using a separate transportation device equipped with wheels, the work machine including a set of booms having at least one operating cylinder, an auxiliary device, and a brake including a brake surface, the method including the steps of towing the work machine using a transfer vehicle and the transportation device, supporting the work machine at least partly on top of the transportation device such that the crawler chassis is raised off the sloping base, and supporting the auxiliary device on the brake, the brake surface of the brake contacting the sloping base, using the operating cylinder to press the brake surface against the sloping base to create friction to slow transfer speed of the transportation device, and adjusting pressing of the brake surface taking place through the auxiliary device using the operating cylinder.
Variable engine speed control
Power machines, control systems and methods that adjust engine speed based upon actuation of user input controls that control other power machine functions such as travel functions and lift arm functions. By controlling engine speed at least partially in response to the user input devices controlling other machine functions, more optimal engine speeds can be achieved.
Hydraulic system and method for controlling an implement of a working machine
A hydraulic system is provided for a working machine that includes a hydraulic cylinder for raising and lowering an implement. The hydraulic system includes a sensor for measuring a pressure in the hydraulic cylinder; and a control unit for controlling the movement of the hydraulic cylinder; wherein the control unit is configured to compare a pressure value measured by the sensor with a preset target pressure level range and to control the pressure in the hydraulic cylinder to be within the preset target pressure level range by adding or draining hydraulic fluid to/from a pressure side of the hydraulic cylinder for maintaining a substantially constant ground contact force between the implement and the ground.
