The floor upper surface, the side inner surface, the front rear surface, the top lower surface, and the top inner surface define a recess.

Work attachment for motor grader

A work attachment for a motor grader includes a moldboard and a trip edge assembly coupled to the moldboard. The moldboard defines a plurality of first apertures. The trip edge assembly includes a trip edge structure. The trip edge assembly also includes a pivoting mechanism for pivoting a portion of the trip edge assembly in a first direction with respect to the moldboard when the trip edge assembly encounters an object in a drive path of the motor grader. The trip edge assembly further includes a mounting structure defining a plurality of second apertures. The plurality of second apertures are aligned with the plurality of first apertures to receive mechanical fasteners for removably coupling the trip edge assembly with the moldboard.

PLOW ASSEMBLY WITH CUTTING EDGE CARTRIDGES

A plow assembly for mounting to a vehicle includes a mounting structure, a plow and a plurality of cutting edge cartridges attached to the blade. Each cutting edge cartridge includes a blade, a front plate, and a biasing element. The front plate is fixedly attached to a lower front surface of the plow, with the biasing element and the blade disposed between the plow and the front plate. The biasing element is disposed above an upper part of the blade and the blade is configured to slide in an upward and downward motion relative to the front plate and the plow. In response to a force applied to the blade, the blade slides upward relative to the backing plate and the plow and compresses the biasing element such that when the force is removed, the biasing element decompresses and urges and slides the blade downward.

System and method for controlling movement of moldboard

A cold planer is provided. The cold planer includes an engine and an enclosure compartment for a milling rotor. The enclosure compartment includes a frame defining an opening of the enclosure compartment. The enclosure compartment includes a moldboard connected to the frame. The moldboard is configured to move vertically between a first position and a second position with respect to the frame. An interfacing arrangement includes a first pair of components carried by the frame and a second pair of components carried by the moldboard. The components of one of the first pair of components and the second pair of components have slanted edges. The first and second pairs of components are configured to allow a lateral movement of the moldboard when the moldboard is in the first position and to engage one another to prevent the lateral movement of the moldboard when the moldboard is in the second position.
