High Capacity Beam Hanger
A connector joins a beam to a header, the connector has two members with mating portions. The mating members are provided with projections and slots that engage each other and transmit gravity loads between the members.
STRUCTURAL SUPPORT APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND METHOD
Structural support apparatus, system, and installation method, comprising a base member adapted for being mounted to an existing building structure, an attachment bracket mounted to the base member at a pivot point adapted to be set securely to an angle selected during installation, the attachment bracket also adapted for mounting to a wood riser having openings therein to match the attachment bracket.
INSTALLATION AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD OF WALL PANEL
Installation and construction methods for installing a wall panel are provided. The wall panel includes a surface member and a long joint member that extends horizontally, is fixed to one plate surface of the surface member, and is joined to a pair of wooden columns. The method includes: disposing the joint member between the pair of wooden columns; joining both longitudinal ends of the joint member to respective side surfaces, facing each other, of the pair of wooden columns; installing the wooden beam between the pair of wooden columns and adjusting erection of the wooden columns; and fixing an edge of the surface member to front surfaces of the pair of wooden columns and the wooden beam.
PARKING LOT AND ASSOCIATED PROCESS
A parking lot for motorized land vehicles including beams supporting ends of concrete slabs through the use of connecting plates fixed to the beams and through the use of a concrete strip connecting the ends of the concrete slabs. Also, the method of assembling the parking lot or supporting structure.
Supporting structure for a wall or roof partition
A supporting structure (102) for a wall or a roof partition (104; 120) of a building structure (100), comprises an internal core structure (114) extending in a longitudinal direction, and first and second external covering profiles (106) for at least partially covering the core structure (114). The covering profiles (106) define inwardly and outwardly facing surfaces (108) facing one another, with slits (116) being formed at the inwardly facing surfaces (108). The core structure comprises at least two bands of material (114) which are mutually offset. The supporting structure (102) is suitable as a post, pillar, column, lath, batten, rafter, truss, girder, bar, or beam for a wall or roof partitions of a greenhouse, a cabin or shanty, a wall of a house, a stand-alone wall or roof partition, such as pent roof, a canopy, a fence, a windbreak or a solar panel structure The bands of material (114) are interconnected at their ends only and are pre-tensioned to provide stiffness, and may be configured to minimize their thermal conductivity.
Post and beam cutting device
A beam has an upper face, a lower face, side faces, and an end face. The end face has a rectangular configuration and is vertically disposed. The end face has a slot vertically disposed and parallel with, and equally spaced from, the side faces. Beam holes extend through the beam on opposite sides of the slot. A post has a front face, a parallel rear face, and parallel side faces. A connector has a first section and a second section. Beam apertures are formed in the first section. The first section is positioned in the slot with the beam apertures aligned with the beam holes. The second section is attached to the post. Dowels extend through the beam holes and the beam apertures thereby coupling the beam to the post. The system also includes tools for accurately cutting and drilling components, wood and otherwise, to be coupled.
Apparatus for Interconnecting Wooden Members
Apparatus for interconnecting wooden members that includes a V shaped pair of flanges that are fixed to an L shaped bracket which bracket is adapted to be attached to one wooden member and where the flanges are adapted to be inserted into V slots on a second wooden member.
Metal joint and panel joining method
A metal joint for joining, to a frame built by appropriately combining a horizontal structural member and a vertical structural member, a rectangular panel fitted into the frame includes a base member made of a rectangular metal plate, and cylindrical members which are each made of a metal cylinder, and are fixed onto opposite surfaces of the base member. The base member is adapted to be disposed between the frame and the panel. The cylindrical members are adapted to be fitted into circular holes formed in the frame and the panel.
